I was looking for an excuse not to like these, because they are so expensive, but I couldn't find one. I love them. They are beautiful, and unlike most quads, every color is wearable.

I'm completely in love Dolce's cosmetics, I think they are outstanding for a premier make up line in terms of quality and in my opinion are superior to Chanel and YSL which I have loved and used for over 20 years. The pigments blend beautifully and last all day in this quad. I wear contact lenses and am sensitive to some products, no problems with these shadows. Nice compact design, sturdy, which is advantageous if you are a bit of a klutz like me and drop compacts! I rate this product 5+ and would throw out all my makeup and just buy D&G I loved it that much!

Quick Take: blends easily
I love the colors in the quad that I bought. They blend nicely and are complimentary to each other. I splurged on this purchase. Paying $59 for 4 tiny eyeshadows is not usually my idea of smart shopping. I'm not disappointed, but nor are they the best eye shadows ever. I get about 4-5 hours of wear (with a primer applied) from this product.

Defined Smokey Eye

Good quality color- not too dark but enough to get that smokey eye for daytime without looking dirty or too clubby. The purple color is great- smokes without a really "purple-y" over done effect. Love the taupe. Only complaint is that the pans are very small. I bought the Fatale palate when it first came out- used up the lavender and then ended up not using the rest.

My very first D&G purchase and I’m in love. The palette is so heavy and beautiful, very nice quality packing. The qualities of the eye shadows are amazing, soft, buttery and SO PIGMENTED.

As a former Chanel user I love how they apply and are builadable. They're great used wet and stay on good. Femme Fatale is the perfect smoky eye in one compact.

Disappointing

I give this 2 stars for the gorgeous shades but...the formulation is very disappointing. The pigmentation is terrible! You have to literally scrub your brush across the color to pick up any pigment, and the fall out, the creasing...just not a good purchase. For the money I think Dolce and Gabbana could have created a much higher quality product.

Quick Take: blends easily, highly pigmented
This is my favorite eye shadow because of its high pigmentation; I get color layered with a few swipes. Other brands I've tried wouldn't take quickly no matter how many times I tried to add on more color (everything from Guerlain, Dior, Stila, BBrown & more). Expensive but worth it. First set I've ever reached the bottom of the pan.
