Surprisingly yummy!
-04.15.13
Quick Take: yummy, gourmande, very good value, delicious, addictive, floriental, long lasting
My favorite fragrances are Prada Candy , Flowerbomb and Pink Sugar, depending on my mood and the occasion. I feel like Gold Sugar is pleasant sort of combination of the best aspects all three of them, without getting too scientific. It is yummy, slightly sweet without being cloying; soft yet a little mysterious. It makes people (especially men) want to get a little closer and it smells better and better the longer you have it on. The only drawback is the packaging; I almost didn't try it in the store because it almost screamed "Look at me!" with its sparkly gold wrapping. But then, I did, didn't I? I was happily surprised and purchased the EDT. I loved it so much that I went back the very next day for the body lotion and the bath gel ; I layer them with the original Pink Sugar and create my own "Sugar" fragrance! :)

Smells yummy!
-03.14.13
Super inexpensive perfume and it smells like vanilla and flowers. I like it, even though it doesn't last as long as other perfumes that have more layers in the smell. I would recommend this product.

.....great!!
-02.28.13
Wanted to buy Prada Candy. Thankfully, I didn't, and got a sample of Prada shortly after. This is VERY SIMILAR, and actually lasts much longer.
Not so sure about packaging - but I do love this stuff. Has a more musky scent than the Sugar. Definitely lasts a long time. IT'S A KEEPER.

At first I coudn't decide if I liked it or not, but it grew on me and I like it. It's a nice scent. It has hints of vanilla with a little musk. Pink sugar is still better

Another Aquolina Favorite...
-01.22.13
Quick Take: good value, warm, inviting, delicious, sweet, unique, feminine, yummy
I bought this as a birthday gift to myself based on the description and because all the Aquolina fragrances do well with my chemistry: regular Pink Sugar, Pink Sugar Sensual and Pink Sugar Sparks are all wonderful. Gold Sugar stands out with it's warm coconut and cream notes. This is definitely different from the original Pink Sugar, not as candy sweet with added florals, musk, amber and coconut. The common theme is that it has the inviting 'delicious' quality and has instant appeal. Some people will smell the citrus and floral more, for me those notes are more understated and I get mostly the coconut and cream. This is a beautiful coconut, not 'cookie' like or sunscreen-ish, just a nice fresh scent that is warm and soothing. It is long-lasting and will stay with you through the day and night. This is a fine fragrance for day/evening or casual/dressy. The bottle is lovely too, reminds of the YSL Touche Eclat tube...all shiny and golden. If you favor scents with warm 'vanilla' type notes you can't go wrong...I just hope this will always be available!

Gold Sugar
-01.21.13
I have been wearing Pink Sugar for about 3 years now and until I saw there were more perfumes by aquolina I knew they all would be good. To me Gold Sugar smells like a powdery, sweet warm lemon muffin an when you sweat the fragrance gets stronger an smells so good people wanna know who smells so damned good!

Pink Sugar all grown up!
-01.05.13
Quick Take: good value
As a long time loyal Pink Sugar subject I am pleasantly surprised by Gold Sugar. With less cotton candy and more creme brulee base notes it still has the sweetness I enjoy with less of the juvenile influence. I began wearing Pink Sugar in my 20s and now in my mid 30's Gold Sugar appears to be a great option! This is a wonderfully feminine fragrance for day use. Looking forward to layering and buying the lotion and shower gel.

not bad....
-01.04.13
Something about this fragrance smelled familiar to me. I couldn't put my finger on it but I knew I had smelled something similar before. It's not a bad scent... fruity, sweet, powdery and just a touch flowery. I don't like flowery perfumes at all and much prefer fruity, sugary, sweet type of smells and Gold Sugar is all of these. It is a little flowery but it's more sweet, powdery and fruity on me. Lasts quite a bit as well. And I did finally figure out the other fragrance it smells like. It's similar to Katy Perry's Purr (purple cat bottle), a fragrance I own as well. However, I do prefer Gold Sugar to the Purr as Gold Sugar isn't as flowery as Purr is. Overall a very nice fragrance.

Sweet and Yummy!!
-01.03.13
Quick Take: sweet, yummy, long lasting, sophisticated
I am so in love with this fragrance! It smells absolutly incredible! It's a really nice mixture of sweetness and warmth. It is definetly not overly sweet, but it fits in very well with the rest of the Aquolina collection (Pink Sugar and Pink Sugar Sensual). It lasts all day long and you don't have to apply a ton of it to get a nice scent. As soon as I heard of it I knew I had to try it and of course as soon as I smelled it I knew I just had to have it! I have the whole Aquolina line so if you like the line I would definetly recommend this... even if you are not a fan of Pink Sugar I would say still give this one a try because it is not at all as sweet as Pink Sugar, I think it is more sophisticated.

i got this on a whim a couple weeks ago, and i really like it! it reminds me a lot of how moroccan oil smells, and i think it's the closest perfume i've found to that scent thus far. it can be a little strong, so i only spray once on a wrist and rub my wrists together. definitely way too strong to spray on my neck/chest area. i really like it, though, and think it's a good heavier scent for wintertime!

Always a fan of original scent. This is it all grown up and rich. The scent is so rich, yet not overpowering. I luv it.

stick with pink sugar
-12.19.12
I love pink sugar &was so excited to see a new scent from aqualina. This perfume smells horrible. I even waited a couple hours to see if maybe it would grow on me. This perfume stinks,I don't even smell the vanilla in it. Stick with pink sugar, that smells great!

This stinks
-12.13.12
I did not notice the sweet at all, the powdery smell over powered anything remotely sweet. I was hoping for more coconut, sweet, less baby powder musk. It was gross I sent that puppy back!

Smells great!
-12.07.12
Quick Take: travel-friendly, good value
My husband is a huge fan of pink sugar so I thought I would try the new gold sugar--I actually like this scent better than the original! It is softer and dries down to a very nice warm vanilla musk scent. It also lasts pretty long. I'm a big fan!

The warmer side
-12.04.12
Quick Take: warm, yummy
Great for vanilla lovers. It's like they took out the lighter, sweeter notes in Pink Sugar and left the lingering base notes. They could as well have called it Vanilla Sugar. I still think Pink is my favorite. It's more playful.

Like Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme w/ a hint of lemon
-11.28.12
Quick Take: yummy, soft, musky
This just like all of the "sugar" fragrances has a vanilla sugar base. When you first spray Gold sugar you can smeel the lemon citrus, but after the perfume dries down you get a hint of the lemon and the lovely smell of musky vanilla and sweet sugar.

MUST-Have!
-11.26.12
Quick Take: fantastic
I bought Aquolina Pink Sugar a couple years ago, and I wore it all year. Everywhere I went I got compliments on it. This year, I tried Aquolina Gold Sugar, and I have to say it's my new favorite. I've actually had strangers stopping me, asking me what fragrance I'm wearing and where they can get it. There's still a sweetness to it, but it's complimented with the vanilla and musk in a way that doesn't make me feel like a teenager. Definitely a fun, flirty, fresh, sexy scent for a woman. It's longlasting, and I love getting in my car at night to go home and still smelling good.
I would definitely recommend this and I will be purchasing it again.

So So
-11.16.12
Quick Take: nice but not great
I was prepared to love this new fragrance, based on the description. It is nice, but dries down to a bit of a powdery note that seems to be getting more popular on new-launch fragrances. I like a fragrance better if it keeps it's sparkle as long as you can smell it.
