I got this as a bday gift , I was excited about the silver glitter but I ended up liking the black glitter instead because when I put the top coat over the silver glitter it looked different . If I don't add the top coat it looks just like the picture on the box

At first i was skeptical ,but when i got it in the mail and used it i was very pleased with the outcome of this nail kit. The glitter stayed put and looked very shiny lasted for about a week with out chipping.

Quick Take: messy not worth the price
The effect is cool, but be aware that you are paying $25 for a two tiny bottles of glitter to go with black nail polish and top coat which probably already live in your collection somewhere. It's a great idea, but there is nothing special about this glitter - you could buy it at a craft store and get far more for far less. If Nails, Inc. had come up with a way to make it less messy to apply, I'd give it more stars, but I ended up returning mine.

When I first received this product, I was really excited to use it. Within the first couple minutes of use, it was a glitter catastrophe! Applying the color was easy, but applying the actual glitter was difficult . After 6 days, the nail color was chipping off. On a positive note, the silver glitter looks great but the black glitter doesn't stand out much.

I got this as a gift and I absolutely love it! It's a little messy but I'm not the type of person that doesn't enjoy glitter everywhere! =) my nails were awesome!!!

This is a great kit! I love the colors and versatility. Quick drying, which I really like. The only con is that the sparkles chip off easily even with the top coat.

I absolutely love this product; however, applying the glitter on my nails were harder than expected. After I was done, I noticed that the small funnel did not even work to put the glitter back! Another is.... Good luck trying to take the nail polish off! Great look... Application and taking it off? Decent

Quick Take: messy, georgeous, quick-drying, looks exactly like the picture
Although time consuming with doing each nail individually, it's totally worth it. The results are amazing. My nail shape awkwardly fit into the tray mold- making it difficult to apply the glitter. I found it much easier to use the application tray as a "catch-all tray"; sprinkling the glitter directly from the jar (lightly**). The excess caught in the tray was perfect to sprinkle onto any missing spots. Then lightly press down on each nail to set the rocks in their place (as directed) and voila; perfect :) Definitely time consuming, and a tad messy. However, the dusting brush assisted with cleanup a lot better than I expected. I also suggest putting a paper towel underneath your work space- it's easy to funnel the unused glitter from the tray and paper towel back into the jars for a later day!!
P.S- Mine began chipping after the 2nd day; but as someone said previously, I'm pretty sure it's because I didn't put enough top coat on. Next time I'll know!

I got this as a gift, and I love it! It's a bit messy, but my nails look amazing! I love the dark sparkles, sooo pretty! It started to chip after about 2 days, but I might put more top coat on next time.

I received this as a Christmas gift and tried it first with the black glitter. I was able to do a gradient look and the brush just dusted the glitter right off my skin. The top coat is fantastic and it lasted for about 4 days with just one coat. I did the silver glitter on my next mani but with gel polish and it is like a party on my finger tips!

Quick Take: fantastic!
I was a little leery to try any of the caviar type mani sets, but for the holidays, I decided to get this one a try. The application steps are really clear, and not very difficult. I was a little disappointed that the mani was chipping the next day, but that's probably because I didn't do a second layer of the top coat. As for removal, this was actually a little easier to remove than a normal glitter polish, so I was really happy with that!

I love the gorgeous bling & effect ! BUT! Because it's all glitzy glitters, I would definitely recommend a good coating of top coating & a piece of paper to tap off the excess glitter off lightly or other ways that suit you best.

I dunno if it was just me, but I didn't actually know what exactly was in this kit when I ordered. To clarify: It is 2 nail polishes and 2 bottles of glitter (as well as the brush and plastic thing). It looks really good on, and I received a lot of compliments. The only problem is that it chips off SO easily. It literally will not stay on an entire day. No matter how many layers of top coat I put on, it consistently chipped off. I guess this would be better for a special occasion. It does look really really good on, though, so I would still recommend it.

I have only used one color (the black) but I loved it. It was so much fun to have on my nails, lots of compliments. But its not so flashy that you can't wear it to work (in an office). Its subtle unless you get close. It does feel strange at first because your nails aren't smooth and might drag a bit on clothing, but its fine. It will shed a little, but it lasted as long as a normal at home manicure.

It was very messy to apply and snags a lot, even with two layers of top coat. Got some chips the same night I applied the effect. I also got more chips the next day. I also was complimented on the nails the next day.
