This balm is the most moisturizing for me, and the colors all work for me! I usually have a difficult time matching my light olive skin and full lips to lip colors, as it usually takes over my face. In this set, the curvy candy lightens my lips a little, making them a demure pink. The chunky cherry shows up as a retro red, the oversized orange is a subtle coral, the super strawberry is a great "my lips but better" color, and richer raisin is a great brown plum.

Quick Take: clinique whole lotta colour set
I bought this for my mother and I got it as a gift from my friend! This is perfect for older women who aren't into dark lipstick anymore. My mother doesn't wear much makeup and this was perfect for her. I usually play up my eyes and these were a perfect complement to that.

Got it for my mom as a Christmas gift and she adores them. She said they're very moisturizing, lovely color and leave her lips feeling soft.

Quick Take: buildable, sheer
The first time I used these chubby sticks I was pretty disappointed, I felt like they really didn't show up on my lips and didn't see much difference between the 5 colors. I gave them another chance the other day and I'm sure glad that I did! The colors start off looking very faint on your lips, but you can build them into more vibrant colors by using a little more of the product. They are very creamy and leave my lips feeling smooth.

These did not show up much on me. Plus one broke easily within a week if owning. They did feel nice on my lips, but I returned them. If you're looking for color saturation this is not a good item for you.

Quick Take: somehing everyone can wear
very smooth, almost like lip balm with color, lasts longer than some and seems also to go a long way, also great colors, and not thick and/or gloppy. i think it is a little expensive and for that reason only i would have given 4 stars, but like i said it seems to go further than other lip products, and stays on much longer than other products as well, so i gave it 5.i really LOVE these sticks...you get sheer but not too sheer full coverage and moisture as well, my friend had them and had she not shown them to me i never would have bought, try them, i swear you will love them too. also some of the colors in this set i would not have chosen for myself, but are beautiful on.

Quick Take: adorable, moisturizing, sheer
This set is so adorable.. I can't even describe how in love I am. I find myself looking at it every two seconds just because of how cute the packaging and the product are! As for the actual product, I'm also in love. The color is gorgeous and they are sheer when applied which is great if you don't want anything too bold. It isn't a great value and there isn't a lot of product in each, but i guarantee you will love this set anyway.

Beautiful colors but dried my lips out

I was pleased and surprised that each color in this set looked good on my lips, even the orange. They provide a light wash of color. The color does not last more than a few hours. What is disappointing though, is that they totally dried my lips out. My lips were not dry at all until I used these. Because of this, I am returning this product.

Unlike anything I've used before

As someone who has always had a strong aversion to both lipstick and sticky lip glosses, but never saw the point in other products that were too sheer to even notice the color, I was intrigued by this. And I have to say, I LOVE IT. I never thought I would like all of the colors, but the ones I was most skeptical about turned out to be the ones I like the most! (The raisin, and the orange ones). They aren't sticky, they stay on through eating and drinking and absentminded lip licking, and they are noticeable without looking overdone. I tried one for the first time yesterday before I saw my boyfriend on Facetime, and he said, "Are you wearing lipstick or something? It looks really good!" This would make a great gift, too.

I really like this set! Definitely worth a try if you're into having a varied lip color collection.
Pros:

Cons:
1. The colors look NOTHING like I would have expected before trying them. I have medium brown skin (the kind of shade that is often described as "mocha") with red undertones, and the orange looks the best on me! It looks like a deep pink with an orange tint. The pink shades, which I usually tend to use in other brands, look A LOT darker than I would expect.

Quick Take: nicely boxed
I love Chubby Sticks and actually own all these colors already, except the raisin.
They go on easily, moisturize well, and last a decent length of time. The color isn't overwhelming, nor does it claim to be. For work, I frequently add a gloss over them; they make great casual wear on their own.
I love finding smaller size lip products. Either I have a bunch in my purse or just one tucked into a pocket; either way, smaller works better for me. These are one of the few sample size products that will get me to spend money at the Clinique counter when they are part of a bonus. Buying them as a standalone is cheaper for me and I was thrilled to find these!
I wouldn't have minded having some of the less common shades (my Clinique never seems to stock them) but I'll take what I can get. I would love to see something similar for the new opaque Chubby Sticks.
The box they come in is surprisingly nice; it's hard to see in the photo. Not very practical for storage but if you are buying these as a gift, it's going to look that much nicer.

I really like these! I am a lip gloss person but do not like stickiness & always wish the color lasted longer. These balms are WONDERFUL. They do not dry lips or flake off, give a decent amount of color, and last on your lips. Great mix of colors, RECOMMEND!

I bought this collection after buying a couple of singles. The colors are all great for me, I am fair to medium. You can layer it for more color, but it is a good balm and easy to put on, even while not looking.

Actually, if you do the math, you are saving $2.50. Other than that, the only other benefit is that you are trying 5 x 0.04 oz chubbies instead of trying 2 x 0.1 oz (full sized) chubbies.
