Quick Take: perfect, great, silky hair
Great quality for a great price the mini is actually great for getting really close to the root hair by your face. My hair is normal I found at 380 degrees my hair felt silky smooth and had a beautiful natural looking shine. I've been using a chi for years and for the first time my hair actually feels healthy from ironing and there was no burnt hair odor. I was sold when I saw this hispanic girl using it, I wanted to see it in action and it left her hair looking beautiful.

There are no con's to this flat iron in my opinion. I bought it because the temperature can be adjusted on it. I first bought another well known brand from another store that could not be adjusted. When I used it my hair was heated so high that it actually burned my fingers. So I took it back and went to Sephora because I trust their brands. I had never heard of this brand. At first sight I loved the color of this iron. Even thought it is called "Snake" it simply looks like a pale pink color covered with black lace. The first time I used this iron I was able to play with the settings and found that setting the temperature at 350 degrees was perfect for me.. I am able to straighten and smooth my hair at this temperature without over heating my hair . I love that the temperature setting is digital and that it only takes moments for the iron to heat up or cool down. Besides the temperature setting my other concern in purchasing an iron was that it did not pull hair. This iron passed the test with no discomfort at all. I was really pleased with the mini bonus iron that was included with this purchase. It's the same color and pattern as the large iron. It has a curved design that makes it easy to use. It is described for travel or for ironing bangs, but in addition I find it is the perfect size to use on children's hair. I use a comb between the iron and the scalp to prevent accidental burning of my children's skin. With a regular size iron there are pieces of hair and cowlicks that you just can't get to. The size of this bonus mini iron makes it easier and safer to handle with children and you are able to get those little pieces you miss with the bigger iron. I am completely satisfied with this purchase. I would purchase this brand again and recommend it.

you'd expect it to do all the things it claims to for the price you're paying and it kinda does. heats up pretty fast, but it pulls on your hair a bit especially when I try to curl with it even when I straighten it not too bad thou

Glides over my hair!

I have very curly, coarse, chemically colored hair that I usually have a lot of problems keeping straight all day long. This flat iron is amazing, it really does glide right over my hair like people have written in other reviews. I use it on a lower heat setting than my last flat iron and it works much better. I've only had it for a few weeks now, but it seems like it's less damaging to my hair as well. And I love the lace like print, so cute!

Quick Take: fantastic, great, worth-while, bang for your buck
Heats up quickly. I love the design. Takes me 10 minutes to style my hair vs my other straightener which takes 35 minutes. Great for curling and waving too!! The only downside is that if you take a large piece of hair it will snag, but if you take your time this styler is fantastic! Great buy. Its worth the cash.

I always bought cheap drugstore flat irons that may last a lil while but always end up in the trash. I looked around and priced a lot of different irons. I used my friends chi and liked it a lot. I found this one and since it came with the travel iron I decided to get this instead. So glad that I did. It heats up in like 30 seconds. I have coarse fine hair and it doesn't snag or burn. It's lightweight. It's amazing. Get this one!!!

I use this straightener every day and it makes my hair look well styled and healthy. It heats up very very quickly and I only need to do one pass on my hair for it to look great. I often use it to curl my hair and it looks like I got it done in the salon. I will never buy another brand of straightener!

I really liked this straightener because it was really gentle on my hair. Then it broke. After only having it for a whole 3 weeks. I was using it and went to turn it off because I was done and the light was off. I give 5 stars to sephoras return policy though

Quick Take: worth it, great, effective
I owned the Amika Ceramic flat irons for over 4 years and recently dropped them (again) and broke them for real this time. I planned to siple repurchase them since I knew that they were well worth the money. Buy my stepfather owns a salon and told me that titanium plates would be better. Needless to say I purchased these and I love them even more. I didn't think it was possible. Great on my natural hair and my extensions without the damage.

I havve owned two other flat irons prior to my amika starting with my conair at age 11 then CHI once i got to highschool. Through out my 8th grade and 12th grade years i didnt really have a need to really use them because i got my hair washed and wrapped every two weeks. I oftened wondered though if i could achieve the hair salon look without going to a salon and after tampering with hair products and different things i found my solution within my amika. I have very thick curly hair and it keeps it straight for up to 3 weeks no lie.

I am loving this thing! The Amika Titanium Digital Pro Styling wands are amazing. My hair has zero body and the Amika is helping me accomplish different hair styles while making them last for hours! Great in high humidity and awesome for light or tight curls. Highly recommended, a must-buy, you're a fool if you don't!

Quick Take: surprisingly better result
I already had a flat iron and thought they were pretty much the same. I was at the Boston Prudential Center store and they were giving a demo of this so I gave it a try. First the girl who was helping me used it to curl my hair. I had never considered a flat iron for curling; thought that had to be done with a curling iron. Anyway, my whole head was done in about 5 minutes. Because I like wearing my hair straight I asked if she'd straighten out the curls; again maybe 5 minutes. y hair was much smoother and even shinier than I'm able to get it when using my own flat iron. But the proof was when I woke up the next morning and my hair was pretty much the same as when it was flat ironed in the store. So I was convinced and bought mine today at the VIB event which saved me 20%- even better. I also like that it comes with a mini flat iron for traveling too!

Quick Take: disappointing, snags
I was really excited when I got this straightener but I was disappointed when I used it because my hair would snag on the plates. My hair is wavy and not unruly so the fact that it would snag on my hair every time I would pull it through, no matter how slow I was moving or how small the hair section was. I would not recommend this product, save your money.

Hair is so beautiful and silky after using this styler! I love that I get precise temperature control with the adjustable digital LCD panel which goes from 190 -450 degrees. As a stylist, it is so important that I can use this and get beautiful results on any hair type or texture! I also love the print... sophisticated and pretty.

What an impressive iron. Honestly, I was a little afraid that it looked better than it performed... but I was definitely wrong. The full size styler is super hot (if you need a lot of heat) but also has an adjustable temp that is digital so if you have fragile hair like me you will know exactly what temperature you are using (i use 360). Doesn't pull AT ALL, even with tons of product in my hair. So easy to curl... can do my entire head in less that 10 minutes. The mini styler is perf' for touch-ups, bangs, and oh so convenient for the gym. I absolutely <3 this styler. My ghd broke and this is 100 times better for almost 1/2 the price! Must have!!
