Quick Take: terrible, heavy, bad quality
Can I give this no stars?! I returned these brushes as soon as I got them. I tried to use them w/ liquid AND powder products and they were awful. I got my money back ASAP. Do not buy Sephora brushes.

Quick Take: full set, good value
It is hard to determine if these are full sized or travel sized. The handles on the face brushes are really thick. they are not too heavy like some brushes i have seen. The material of the hairs is not like the synthetic taklon bristles on some of the other brushes i have seen. IT, RT, ET. These are synthetic, just a different material with a more cashmere feel. The do not dry as fast as the taklon brushes. The powder brush is not very dense. it looks really dense in this picture. BUT it applies loose highlighters like meteorites and radiance VERY well. The angled brush is very dense and Really nice blush application. the large shadow brush is amazing. If i had to pick a favorite, that would be it. the liner brush is nice and thin so perfect for liner or brows. The only one i haven't tried yet is the concealer brush. Only because i really don't use brushes for concealer but it is nice too. The buffer brush is nice too. I had used an elf one for a while but this is so much nicer!!! they haven't gotten stained from product either which is nice! If you are considering this set, you should just get it because it is a really luxurious set and well worth the money. Who cares that they are hard to get out of the case? i will not be putting them back in there! the case is nice, it is hinged, it curves out on both front and back, so it does not lay flat. but will stand up on its side. You could probably use it for storage of some sort. I am really happy i took the chance getting these. I LOVE them! You will too!

I like the selection in this brush set. What I really like is the substantial handles that are easily gripped, and the bristles are extremely soft and enable powders to flow more evenly. I have washed them several times now and have not noticed any shedding. Another customer mentioned that these brushes shed, but I have not experienced that. I actually use the gold case for a bunch of Bare Minerals eye shadow pots. I think these are a great buy for the money.

This is a very luxurious set of brushes. Both in appearance and performance. They look great, come in a nice travel friendly package and have incredibly soft brushes. I only need one additional brush (kabuki) to do my makeup, which makes this the most comprehensive set I have found.

I purchased these for my mother because we had a difficult time finding brushes soft enough for her face, these are soft as butter and work great. Im going to order some for myself because I just love everything about them.

After using these brushes for a couple of weeks, I cleaned out my brush drawer of a couple of dozen other brushes. This set is absolutely fabulous! The brushes are soft, but hold and distribute product flawlessly. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them. My only complaint is that although the gold case they come is really nice, it holds the brushes too tightly. I got tired of having to pry them out, so I put them in another case. I didn't remove a star for this because it's the brush quality that really mattered to me.

I wanted a nice brush set and was thrilled when I received this beautiful set for Christmas. The bristles are soft and apply product wonderfully - especially the eye brushes.
My only complaint about this set is that is can be difficult to get the brushes with skinny handles out of the case. Sometimes I find myself pulling on the bristles to get the brush out. The case is cute, but I'll probably invest in a brush roll to have easier access to my brushes.
I was worried that the white bristles would be discolored from product, despite cleaning. I was wrong. Sephora's brush shampoo gets them back to almost new color.

I ordered these brushes to replace my current TIGI set that is approx 5 years old. I had gone to the local Sephora store and just wasn't impressed with the sets that they had in stock, so decided to check out what they had online.
The gold captured my attention as did the "cashmere" in the title so I decided to give them a go.
I was pleasantly surprised when I received these brushes- they are absolutely the softest brushes I have ever had. They apply makeup very evenly and there is no shedding, that I've experienced to date.
Would highly recommend anyone give these a try- you won't be disappointed!

A must have! They are so soft. I have not had any shedding which is a pet peeve of mine with other brushes. They are also very beautiful, I have mine in a pretty glass up to keep on display.

Igo through makeup brushes like toilet paper...some shed, smell weird, are hard to clean, apply product in less than a flawless application or cheapen the look of a good product. Not so here. Second purchase. The second is a gift for a girlfriend. The reason I love these brushes are even applications, nice, thick full brush heads, evenly apply products, can be washed and cleaned so easily and dry nicely ( artificial brushes resist bacteria), nicely balanced, and an assortment of brushes you really can and will use. They are also soft and pretty. Nicely packaged for gifts. I really like the buffing brush for applying makeup and the contouring blush brush, and the thoughtfully crafted shadow brushes. Sure, there are lots of good powder brushes- not made for applying product but for brushing the product away. This set is a good value.

Finally! I've found a set of brushes that don't leave their bristles behind. I use mineral make up and hate, hate, hate it when you have to pick the bristles off of your face after applying your make up. And believe me, the brushes I've been using are not "cheap" brushes at all. I've spent a lot of money buying brushes and brush sets that are supposed to be for mineral make up and are not supposed to shed their bristles only to be disappointed time and time again. Since I've become very fond of Sephora products, I decided to buy this brush set to try it out. Not only is it sophisticated looking, they are the BEST brushes I've ever tried! They are soooo soft against my skin and have not left any bristles behind...I'm thrilled to have finally found a decent set! I personally highly recommend this set. It's so pretty and classy that I actually leave them in their case out on my vanity. I really love using them.
