Quick Take: good value
Love this set! It's a great value and a great way to totally surround yourself in a fragrance. You can either wear all of them or layer- just the hair mist or just the fragrance. This is a great, work-friendly perfume that's subtle but also highly complex.

Quick Take: stinky
I received a paper sample with a recent order and the smell was positively stinky. I can't say whether I would have reacted differently had I actually experienced a liquid version, but what I received smelled cheap and disjointed; like all of the elements were fighting each other inside a vat of dish detergent. Yuck.

Most fabulous scent, doesn't last at all.

The absolute most divine sent I have ever worn but it simply does not last for more than a few minutes. After 10 minutes or so you literally have to sniff your skin fully to smell anything. I even tried layering all items in the set. If I could figure out a trick to make this scent last I would be closer to heaven!

Quick Take: perfume
I was attracted to the bottle and didn't care if it smelled good since this will be the closest I will come to owning anything MARCHESA...however I was so delightfully surprised to find the smell is wonderful with a touch of lemon and the gift set came with a spray bottle for your hair. All pieces have sparkle and look beautiful!. I enjoy looking at the bottles every morning when I get ready for the day.

I am so in Love with this fragrance, The clean, crips scent seems to last all day on me! I couldn't wait to get this set. I got the 1 oz perfume in the beautiful bottle that now decorates my dresser, a portable rollerball that I conveniently carry in my purse so I can re-apply whenever I like & the awesome Hair Mist! How may sets include a Hair mist? None that I know of, which was the main reason for getting this set (instead of the other marchesa set that has the 1.7 oz perfume, a shimmery body lotion, but NO Hairmist) I Am VERY happy with my purchase & get compliments on this new scent often. I am glad I bought this set for myself, if you are on the fence, go to your local Sephora, ask for a sample, you will fall in love with this fragrance & then RUN back to the store to buy this set before they sell out, you won't regret it!

Definitely a scent for a grown woman, but not an old woman. Sets the tone for mature/sexy/classy/glamorous all in one whiff. Instantly lifts my mood. Makes me feel as glamorous as the bottle; I have to wear my pearls or diamonds. The scent is as described ; Light but not too airey- you know the type that doesn't give you a headache.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for myself but it would be a great gift for others. The roller ball is perfect to throw in a purse or clutch and I love the idea of a hair mist; I am always wasting perfume by spraying lots it in my long hair, now I don't feel so guilty using the mist. The perfume looks beautiful stored on my vanity and the scent is just amazing. Love it!

Was looking forward to Marchesa....

...but it left me disappointed. It smells very strongly like fake floral scent that is added to floral scented products. After time I thought maybe it would get better...it didn't. I ended up with an overwhelming headache, which is very rare for me to get..it was definitely from this perfume, definite let down.
