Pretty

Quick Take: chip resistent, long wearing
My daughter bought this in the speckled lilac colour to use at Easter. It was easy to apply and lasted well, as well as looking very pretty. Rather expensive for a nail varnish but it was very unique and she was pleased with it.

So Original. Love it!!!!
-05.02.13
Quick Take: long wearing, fast-drying, chip resistent, vibrant colors, classy
illamasqua nail varnish is amazing; all of the colors. The only thing is when I remove it the speckles are hard to get off even with a base coat. It doesn't bother me though, I will continue to use it.

Scarce

Quick Take: chip resistent, long wearing, fast-drying, unique color
Scarce is a lovely pale pink with matte black glitter. Opaque in 2 coats. Wears for about 10 days with minor tip wear. Worth every penny!

Fantastically fun
-04.25.13
Quick Take: chip resistent, long wearing, fast-drying, unique
This was my first time buying an Illamasqua polish (Fragile, the blue shade).
Illamasqua has been on my radar for years, but somehow I was always lured away by something else 'of the moment' (Chanel Peridot, etc.) I saw Illamasqua's new speckled varnishes recently and because the blue shade looked genuinely unique and organic, like a birds' egg, I finally couldn't resist.
At last--something genuinely different! I used it today and couldn't be more impressed. This polish flows on like liquid silk, I had full color coverage and saturation after just one coat, and the speckles somehow stay suspended in the liquid and distribute evenly. Two coats looked gorgeous. A third and final coat (protected by a subsequent topcoat/sealer) gave me truly unique nails that looked like glass, and though it's early, I can tell the color is going to wear well and have good chip resistance.
I'm utterly sold on this stuff. I'll be buying more Illamasqua colors in short order.

One of the BEST!
-04.24.13
Quick Take: long wearing, fast-drying, chip resistent
Normally when I get speckled polishes its so annoying in that you have to play with the glitter to position it on the nail. Most glitter polishes go on clear with the glitter sticking on the brush and making it hard to apply.
But THIS Speckled polish was amazing!! In one coat my whole nail had polish and glitter throughout. I still did 2 coats, but I was amazed at how fantastic this quality was. The polish was long wearing too. I wore it for a whole week without chips or touching up my top coat.
Now that I am on the site I see there is a blue too! My store did not have it so PLEASE Sephora get these back in stock so I can have one of each please LOL!
I am a fussy buyer when it comes to expensive polish. I dont mind spending it IF its good. This brand was worth every penny!!

Expensive but cute.
-04.17.13
I have two of these colors now, the first being fragile (the blue) & scarce (the pink), i love the speckle effect and i didn't have a blue or pink that shade. i know it's just a seasonal trend but i love it. and i would probably consider getting the purple one. i'm a little addicted. this is my first time using illamasqua products, and i really like them so far.

Like this stuff, with the dots and dashes
-04.15.13
I bought the green polish with the speckles and loved it so much, I bought this pink version too. For some reason, it doesn't stand out as much as the green. Still like it on my toes though. Maybe need 3 coats instead of 2?!

Just when I thought I missed the boat on getting one of the speckled nail varnishes from Illamasqua, guess what was in stock in my local Sephora? I bought it in Scarce (pink) and it was the perfect spring polish. For one, it looks like one of those malted milk ball eggs you see at Easter, and the pink is the perfect softness to balance the black glitter.
It goes on smooth and even, which is great to say about a glitter polish. The brush is not too wide, but wide enough to give even color. I found that this lasted well for a week with no tip wear. This is my first Illamasqua Nail Varnish, but it surely won't be my last.

Love this polish! It applies easily, very opaque after 2 coats. I have the green one (unfortunately the blue was already sold out) and its very cute for spring!

Good Quality, Not a Great Look
-04.10.13
Quick Take: good quality, not what i expected
I bought this polish on a whim thinking it would be a cute look. It wasn't. I kept glancing down at my nails wondering why the looked dirty. The polish has the amazing Illamasqua quality but I just wasn't thrilled with the look. It's like they took a basic glitter top coat and mixed it in with a polish. I think you could get a similar look by sandwhiching a glitter top coat under a sheer layer of polish.

Love the speckles!!
-04.08.13
I like this brand because of the intense colors of their products. I bought this polish in the mint green and was very pleased with the look for my toes. This pink is much more pale than I thought. Still pretty, just not much impact.

Love this polish
-04.08.13
Quick Take: very pretty and wears well
This is the second bottle of speckled nail varnish I've purchased. The first one was a birthday present for my daugther. The polish looked so good on her I also tried it. It lasted 4 days without chipping and I am very hard on polish. I think it would have lasted longer with thinner coats. I'm now wearing Freckled and love it. The mix of sizes (large and small) for the dots really makes a difference - much more interesting. The fact that it isn't sparkly is also a big plus for me.

Unique
-04.06.13
Not a big fan of some nail looks (crackle, magnetic, etc.) and don't really care for glitter polishes, not attractive and hard to remove. But, this is sooo pretty and not in your face glitter look for nails. Applies smoothly and the base color is pigmented enough that you could get away with one coat, but looks best with two. It wore well with some tip wear after 4 days.

Love it!

Super cute polish! I bought the blue polish with blue speckles. You can't tell from the bottle, but when distributed on your nails, there are big dots and very tiny ones too. They distribute very evenly and the polish is very chip resistant. If you are like me and not good with doing cool things with your nails, this looks great and couldn't be easier. If you are thinking about getting it, I don't believe you'll be sorry! One caveat, it is a bit difficult to get the polish off, but sephora remover worked better than the drugstore brand.

Speckled polish in Fragile
-04.01.13
Quick Take: long wearing
I thought this polish (Fragile color) was a perfect blend of Easter malted milk balls, chocolate chip ice cream, and robin's egg blue! Perfect for springtime and fairly long-wearing, this makes a lovely addition to my polish collection! I had to be pretty rough on my nails for any chipping to occur (base coat, two color coats, and a top coat), and it does take a little patience to get it off as the larger black flecks are a glitter... Overall, I gave it 5 stars for the unique look and longevity since it's color and glitter in one polish! Hope this helps! :)

Not worth the $
-03.31.13
I had attended a preview for this polish and was really excited to try it. Unfortunately, the formula is very poor and the polish chips rather easily. I ended up returning this polish after using it once.

Fave new nail polish!
-03.31.13
Love, love, love this polish. I have it in robins egg blue. first saw it on pinterest. The only down part is talking yourself into paying nearly 20.00 for one nail polish.
