Quick Take: thrifty
I love the red lipstick from this duo, but the golden peach was awful. I'm African American and that color just doesn't work with my skin tone. The red is beautiful though. Loved this product.

Quick Take: expensive, but good quality
I saw that it was mini lipstick at the time of the purchase but when I received my package, I didn't expect to see this so small lipsticks, especially with this price. I am a little disappointed..

It's smaller than your regular Chapstick, but I guess it is what you buy for. The red is like a bright red-hot pink red. The second one is really golden, won't recommend to olive skin tones haha, but for a person who doesn't wear make up that much- this is quite minimal.

Quick Take: durable, lightweight, small
I personally love this product, even though these come in a much smaller size then I expected.. They last longer then expected and this is a great way to try this product before buying a bunch! The red is very vibrant only had to "touch" up once in a whole day :D

Okay.... Their definitely mini. One of these can actually fit inside that cap of a regular lipstick. Anyway the "metallic color sinks in to the creases on my lip and I feel like an old grandmas, the red ones pretty nice I love how bright the color is. It didn't come packed in its own box, it was just held together by a plastic wrapper inside the shipping box.

Great Lipsticks, But So Small!

I love the two colors included in this set, a bright classic red and a sparkling peach/beige. The formula is a typical lipstick formula, neither dry nor moisturizing. A good product overall. My problem with these it their size. Each lipstick is about the size of HALF my pinky! They're so small I actually lost the peach one :(

Quick Take: small, pigmented, creamy, poorly packaged
My first impression of these was that they were VERY tiny. I opened them up, and theres a tiny amount of product, too. They should actually be one of sephora's birthday gift items or something. I actually got more product in the birthday gift, than these. The colors are nice. The red is a nice blue/red color, and the gold will look nice with a bronzed face.

These are sooooooo tiny! Was not expecting them to be so small, these are really like samples. However, I like the colors. The red will probably only work for a more formal-ish occasion and the nude shade is very metallic so probably better for a kind of edgy look. But both are cool colors and i like the feel of them.

I love all of Kat Von D's line except this. Tiny, very unflattering colors for most skin tones. I cannot judge on the wear time of these products because as soon as I put these on there was a strong plastic taste in my mouth. Stay away from these.

As many other reviewers have noted, these lipsticks are tiny. They don't look anywhere near as big as the picture would indicate. Given that, I don't know that $10 is a particularly good deal.
I do like the colors and feel of these lipsticks very much however, and would definitely consider buying the full-size. But I am only giving them 3 stars because I was so surprised at how tiny they were. At first I thought maybe they were samples and then I realized I had actually paid for these lipsticks.
The price should be more around $6. Better yet, make them a deluxe sample, and then maybe you'll get more people to buy the full-size (just a hint to Sephora!)

I love the shade of red.. Hated the nude, but thats just because it looks terrible on me. BUT, and heres the big thing, the lipstick broke at the base the very first time i used it. No, i didnt unscrew it any more than necessary. So, i wouldnt buy it again. Its too soft.

Quick Take: over priced, small, unpresentable
Let me start by saying ten dollars is FAR too much for these. These are the size of what would be considered a "deluxe sample," if you are familiar with that term. They are about an inch and a half tall from the base to the top of the lid, so TINY. I knew they were small, but these are sample sizes, NOT true minis. They should really be priced at five dollars, NOT ten dollars. Also, I REALLY am disappointed in the packaging. They are simply shrink wrapped together with plastic and a barcode sticker slapped on. I thought they would at least be in a small box for a nice presentation the way the palette was; not so. That is very disappointing for a ten dollar product. I bought these to go with a KvD eye palette for a Christmas gift for my sister, so I won't return it because I don't want to present the palette alone as a gift but if I were to see this in store, I'd definitely think it's a sample since they aren't packaged at all like a product for purchase. I've attached a photo so you can see the packaging and the true size!
