Beautiful Letdown
-05.15.13
Quick Take: portable, elegant, lightweight
I love elegant brands, I love blotting papers. Tatcha papers are good, not amazing.
I have combo-to-oily skin and they weren't absorbent enough for my t-zone AND it did lift my makeup.
If you have normal, or not oily skin, these will probably do the trick. To bad, I loved the concept but I will stay with Boscia.

My face never looked so good!
-05.13.13
Quick Take: portable
I bought these on the fly when I was waiting in line, and thought, maybe these would help me out when I have long days with my face completely done up in makeup; wow was I surprised! These blotting sheets go a long way; be sure to use both sides! I didn't experience any gold pieces on my face, but my before and after pictures shocked me and made a believer of this product! These will be on me all the time from now on!

Best blotting paper
-05.10.13
I absolutely love this product! It soaks up the oil from the surface of your skin without moving the make up around.

I'll never use another blotting paper. Absorbs so much oil and leaves make up alone!

Quick Take: too pretty to use
These sheets are so pretty I almost didn't want to use them! But I did and they soak up all the oil as needed.

Alright
-04.09.13
These are ok blotting papers. They are very pretty with the gold flecks and they do their job. It says you can use both sides but I don't think this is the case as the oil obviously soaks through both sides of the paper. I find the sheets too big sometimes for just blotting a little or just my nose and cut them in half to get more use out of a sheet. There are definitely better, cheaper, drugstore alternatives that do the job just as well, if not better, for a much better price.

Petal soft skin
-03.07.13
These are simply lovely. They do their job perfectly and leave skin feeling "petal soft" as promised. Beautifully crafted and the gold flecks make it so luxurious. It makes me smile whenever I use it. Yes I'm a sucker for anything sparkly lol. Worth the price for me but I don't go through them very quickly. If my skin was oily I might reconsider. I recently had the pleasure of discovering Tatcha. Their skincare line is modeled after the beauty rituals of geisha. It is practically spiritual for me. I wish Sephora carried it! It would sell

Sadly disappointed
-01.15.13
I was super excited to try these oil blotting papers. I'm on this Japanese skin care kick and being that I have EXTREMELY oil, I thought these would be great. Don't get me wrong, they work. But, for the price I could probably find less expensive ones that do the job. I probably won't be repurchasing.

BEST BLOTTING PAPERS AVAILABLE FOREVER
-12.16.12
Quick Take: portable, non-cakey, only the best
I am so amazed and happy that Sephora heard my pleas and just fully came through with flying colours to make this beauty secret available to the American market!!! I spend most of the year in Australia, but I make sure to stock up on beauty products when at home in Dallas.
I discovered Tatcha aburatorigami while shopping at Mecca Cosmetica in Sydney, and after being dissapointed at their lack of brand variety (there is nothing like Sephora) I came upon a vaccuum sealed space bag harbouring the beige aburatorigami away from the tropical steam.
Knowing how much I love the awesomely packaged Shiseido blotting papers, I decided to give its Japanese ancestry a try. I became an instant fan.
I went back to Shiseido papers once afterwards but only because I found myself desperate to find aburatorigami and my search ended without success. There was an apparent drought of these papers in every store in the city. Phone calls, emails, everything yielded a negative response.
I suggest you carry these with you every day.
Blot using both sides, they saturate pretty quick, but eventually you will learn how to use them adequately and unwastefully. I love them!
The best par about this particular set is the charcoal papers. These are new to me also (not available in Australia), and they seem to purify the skin in case you are caught in a very smoky party situation.
I suggest saving the charcoal ones for going out rather than for everyday use. I doubt you'd be so dirty to need the extra cleanse :D
I keep these papers in my wallet, and they become great conversation pieces in a boring bathroom. They truly do not disturb makeup like many blotting papers do (such as Clean & Clear, Boscia, Sephora Brand, Hello Kitty, etc)

Works great and the sheets are huge. Too bad I go through so many of them so fast...I soak through the whole sheet on both sides...and it's not cheap!

These papers are great! They absorb oil and shine and keep makeup intact. I've got them stashed all over the place - as a woman prone to shine, I am thrilled to have found them.
