Quick Take: effective, drying
Really like that this product calms the skin and helps dry out incoming blemishes. Doesn't stop them from coming just helps them go away quicker. Good price, nice tube with the roller ball.

Honestly, I'm not sure if this stuff works well because of the formula or if the delivery method is so easy to use that it made it easier for me to use it more often. If I have a pimple, I'll carry it in my purse and put it on once or twice during the day. It works well enough although there are still spots that are completely unaffected by it. I have occasional hormonal cystic acne and those spots aren't really helped by anything, but my smaller ones disappeared quickly with this.

Really works!

I was in the market for a new spot treatment and due to the low price point and high rating of this product I decided to try it. I've been using it as needed for two weeks now and it really works! I use it mostly at bedtime and when I wake up my blemishes are noticeably smaller and less red. Very easy to apply. I've even worn it out to run errands due to the fact that it's virtually undetectable on the skin. No shine, no goop, nothing. Give it a try! I'll definitely be repurchasing.

Quick Take: hydrating, fast-working and non-drying
This spot gel is awesome! If I have a blemish, I can put this on at night and by morning it's gone! I've never had a blemish treatment work that quick, and it doesn't dry my skin out because it has some kind of moisturizer in it. You can feel a slight tingle at first, then it goes away. It's a bargain at $12, and I just picked up another one to make sure I don't run out. I love this stuff!

Quick Take: not drying
This product is no joke! I've been using proactive for about 7 years. It's been my daily acne go to product. I read reviews about this roll on and decided to give it a whirl! No joke, 3 days later my skin had gone through some serious clean up. A definite re-buy.

easy to apply but...

I really liked the fact I could apply this spot treatment without having to use a q-tip or my finger. However, I have been using it now for 2 weeks and have seen no improvement whatsoever on my face. I'm going to have to try a different treatment next time.

Great for the price and then some

I used this a few times already on blemishes I saw developing and by the next day they were gone. Note, I did say developing blemishes- not full blown. Def worth the price and to me, product comes out clear- I don't see a white film like some other reviewers said. Will buy again.

Quick Take: effective, non-drying, fast-acting
I have never written a review on a product before, and I just want to say that this is a miracle. I have tried other products from pretty much every brand and this is the most-effective, potent, and fast-acting that I have used so far. I suffer from cystic acne breakouts that hurt so much it feels like a bruise. I applied this twice a day along with the nude treatment oil (I use this as my moisturizer) and it is completely gone! I still get the occasional breakouts, but this helps over-all for the nasty ones. Try it!

I've had cystic acne for years, and am pretty cynical, but wow, did this surprise me. It didn't work so well on small whiteheads, but it worked absolute MAGIC on my deep, cystic acne. I wash my face, roll some on, and the cystic acne's swelling/redness/pain goes down within the day. Use it for 3-4 days and it's gone. Seriously, I cannot stress enough how awesome this product turned out to be for cystic acne. It doesn't over-dry or cause residual breakouts, either. Very impressed.

Works Well

Quick Take: calming
Now that I'm over 50 I seem to be breaking out worse than when I was a teenager. Frustrating. I've used several of the salicylic acid formulas but like this one the best. It seems to calm the skin quicker and it is less drying. The roll on feature for me is not a plus. I popped it out as I feel I get better control of how much goes on. That's just me though. :-) I will buy again as the product works well.

I actually really like this product, I have random acne quite often and after applying this is makes a difference. Its not going to make your acne dissapear but it does a great job at making it better. Its also not that expensive, so thats a plus!

Quick Take: drying for acne
After trying many, many products I have finally found one that works. As a 43 year old I have begun to have an acne problem again. Last week I had several on my neck that were quite large and very red and "angry" looking. I used this before bed and by the morning they were smaller (not gone) and not red at all anymore. They didn't command the attention they had the day before. The roller-ball is a great applicator so I don't have to use my finger then wash the stuff off my hands. Takes out that extra step:)

Quick Take: fast clearing, will not dry out skin
This is a great product! It clears any bumps that are coming up or have already come up quickly! I use it morning and night on any bumps I have and even blemish spots and it clears them up within a day to two days. Smells great and is easy to use. One of the best acne products I have bought and believe me I have bought a ton over the years! Thanks Sephora!

Perfect Daytime Treatment

I was looking for something to tackle minor breakouts during the day. Sulfur based products work, but the faint odor is not nice. After one day it reduced the size and redness of the pimples with no post acne marks forming, so far so good.
I tried another spot coverage treatment with 3% salicylic acid which provided speedy effective treatment, but the concealer shades were horrible. Sephora's Acne-Fighting Roll-On Gel is clear, deposits a decent amount of product, and dries fairly quickly so you don't have to try to apply foundation over sticky little spots on your face. I only wish the salicylic acid level was a bit stronger say... 3%. Otherwise, it's FOUR STAR FAB!
