Quick Take: lightweight, easy to use
My new favorite product! It tames flyaways and gives my waves the beachy look, when I put this on after curling. It also gives me a good amount of shine. The ONLY downside is that I have to double-wash my hair in order to get it completely out. Other than that, love this stuff!

Quick Take: deceptive
The girl at the sephora store demo'd this product on her own hair, and it looked like a miracle worker.... However.. when I got home, after numerous tries.. it did nothing but weigh my short, fine hair down and make it look greasy after about an hour or so.

Quick Take: non-sticky
I really like this texture paste. My hair is pretty straight with the potential for volume only at the ends. I take just a tiny bit of this product (way smaller than a dime) and run it through my damp-almost dry hair, which is below my shoulders. And it gives my hair a more defined look and flexible texture and hold. Plus I really love how it smells - like I just left the salon! I picked it up on a whim and it is great, you should try it!

Quick Take: lightweight, non-sticky, easy to use
I have naturally wavy/flippy hair and this pomade is a dream for working with the natural texture of my hair. I rub about a dime-sized worth of the product between the palm of my hands and scrunch my wet hair to intensify my waves, and I get the perfect waves without any frizz once it dries. On the days I straighten my hair, I use this just on my ends to combat frizz and fly-aways. Some people have commented on the price, but I use it everyday and it lasts me over 6 months, so I feel it is quite economical for the benefits it gives my hair.

I found nothing semi about this Sumo. It seems just as hard and waxy as regular Sumo. A waste of money in my opinion as I expected a creamier texture.

I have fine, thin, shoulder length hair that frizzes at the ends into what I call "cotton candy hair." This is the first product I've tried that gives the ends of my hair the weight and hold needed to prevent the puffiness and maintain my style. I apply a tiny amount to my fingertips, rub them together, and then run them through the lengths of my hair, especially in the front. Semisumo keeps my hair weighted down without looking greasy. I finally feel like my hair has style and not just a cut.

I love this wax! It is so versatile. It's very lightweight and great for control frizz and keeping/molding some form/shape to your hair. I use it to defrizz after I blow dry my hair and I also use it in the morning to control my bedhead. I have thin, wavy hair and I usually avoid wax products because they can easily make my hair appear dirty, but this product is truly a miracle product!

Quick Take: a great in between from sumo and styling wax
But now they have the thickening creme as a styling product so I would prefer that over this. My husband usually uses it and he is in love with it. I like to use my fore-fnger and thumb to take my ends and kinda fling them around to give me hair that un done look. Then rub the rest towards my fingers and flip my head up-side down and rough it up with this. But it can get greasy so I'm careful where and how much I put on.

This product is amazing! I have wavy hair and a lot of it. This product does just the trick to tame frizz without weighing my hair down all day long. It does not get hard or sticky once applied to my hair like most other pomades but keeps my hair soft and touchable. The best!

I love the Bumble and Bumble line anyway but I really like the pomades for styling. Only a very little goes such a long way. I love the way it adds texture to my hair which means that for finishing with spray I am only using a bit as well.

I typically never use hair products. I have been blessed with really good hair that never needs styling however I wanted something to control my slight frizz. I've used some products in the past but never really noticed a difference. I decided to try this when I put it on in the store. Well, I use it everyday now. It smells great and is super lightweight. Get it y'all. It'll make your hair look perfect.

I went into Sephora looking for a pomade that stopped my frizz and wouldn't weigh my thick hair down. This pomade is amazing. It makes my hair shiny, holds down the flyaways without weighing my hair down at all. Bonus is the beautiful fragrance that makes my hair smell like I just left the salon. Definitely worth the price - a little goes a long way! Five stars!

I have very course and curly hair so I am always afraid to try any pomade. However, this is an amazing product. I use it along side of my hair line to tame the hairline. It gives a nice polished look. I also use it all over to get the polished look. It feels very light weight.

Let me just say, I love Bumble and bumble styling products. I've used Brilliantine for like 15 years and I really like Texture, Sumotech and Bb. Shine. The new invisible hairdresser's oil is awesome too. So I expected to love Semisumo, especially once I smelled it. It smells soooo good! But for some reason when I put this in my hair, it makes it seriously staticky. I didn't even realize that was possible for any waxy/greasy/oily hair product. I can really only get the static to go away by spraying my hair with water or some type of refreshing spray, and that defeats the purpose of using Semisumo in the first place. I'll probably still use this when I'm not going anywhere, just to make my hair smell good.

I love using a dab with B&B's Hairdresser's Invisible Oil. Mix a little of each in palm of your hands, bend over and scrunch the bottom of hair, then use what's remaining on your bangs, around your face. Gets rid of frizzies! Makes my hair shiny, piecey, with a soft tousled look.

I have fine, curly hair, and wanted something that would help tame the frizz without killing body. Saw this on the Man Repeller and wanted to give it a try. The first time was a disaster--I used too much and my hair ended up really weighted down and greasy. You really only need a tiny bit, rubbed between the hands, and then...voila. Instantly behaving, bodilicious hair. Liked it a lot. And only needing a little justifies the price a little more in my book. Also saves on the need to wash everyday.
