This went on in sticky clumps, very uneven and goopy looking. It's definitely waterproof, which made it harder to fix the initial mess. Definitely not helpful for the natural look I aim for - this was returned, and I went back to the non-waterproof version.

Quick Take: volumizing
I am always on the lookout for a good waterproof mascara and this is my favorite so far. At $16 a pop, I don't have that guilty feeling about spending too much on something that might not be worth it ! It goes on very smooth, which is definitely a plus and unusual for a waterproof mascara. I do need to put on a minimum of 2 coats for a daytime look. For a nighttime look, I actually use Benefit They're Real and then the Clinique waterproof on top. If this mascara could darken lashes like the Benefit, then this would be the number #1 mascara out there in my opinion !

serious eye wash techniques

Quick Take: lengthening, defining, hard to wash off
This has been a fave my only problem is it builds up around the lid in such small amounts you don't see/feel/notice it till you have irritated eyes. I got a magnifying back lit mirror and you could clearly see build up. II have to use my facial soap, eye makeup remover and rinse really well.

Best mascara that I've used! Does what it says! Just a little clumping. Too many others lay claim to be smudge, water proof, but this one delivers!

Quick Take: defining
I really like this mascara because it does not create those dark circles that I get from other mascaras even the ones that say they are waterproof. I think the name High Impact is a little misleading. It is a good everyday mascara but I don't find that it is dramatic enough to be called High Impact.

Not impressed. Although I do get some extra length, I prefer the more natural look of the regular waterproof Clinique mascara. This does clump and leaves my lashes with little fibers going every which way. Needs lots of after application work and I'm just too busy too fuss like that.

Tried this on..thought it was pretty good. But beware, this is NOT a waterproof mascara. It can be removed easily with regular water.

What a disappointment.

I love Clinique. I've been using their mascara for years. I was excited when I learned a new version of their mascara came out. That turned out to be a disappointment. First, the brush head is HUGE. I have long lashes but I still have a hard time applying this mascara to my lashes evenly. Second, it is SO CLUMPY. It makes the eyelashes look horrid. Do not waste the money. This is so going back.
