Quick Take: soft shimmer
I use a little or a lot depending on how much shimmer I want and then blend blend blend, but either way it really beautifully highlights my face. I put some above my eyebrows, on my cheekbones, in a straight line down my nose, on my jaw bone and sometimes on my collar bone. Love it, looks dewy, natural and fresh.

I got this as a point gift and wasn't really thrilled as I was expecting yet ANOTHER of the zillion "luminizers" and "brighteners" that seem to go more the way of "sparkle" or "shimmer" which I have had enough of already. I wasn't into looking like a human disco ball. But- when I asked the sales girl what this was used for- she explained and then showed it to me where she had it on her cheek bones. I could barely see anything there- it was super subtle. I went home and used it and was so pleasantly surprised! I used it on my collar bones and a slight bit on my upper cheeks. It was so sheer with just a bit of twilight glow. It has been awesome new addition. It's just right!

I really enjoy liquid luminizing products, since you can add them to foundation or tinted moisturizer in addition to applying it separately. This Buxom luminizer is a good color for many different skin tones, even for very pale skin. It's sheer (so perfect for glitter-phobes) and is very flattering. The cooling sensation is interesting--it could be pleasant in warmer weather, though I could live without it. Overall I really like this product for a more natural look that's flattering.

This does exactly what it says it will do and it is fool proof! You can use this over make up and it will not undo what you have done! This is a red carpet product ladies! Put this on cheekbones, brows, collarbones and don't forget to run it down the front of the chin! Fabulous!

I received this in a 500 point reward. It was a pleasant surprise, since I wasn't sure what to do with this. It is perfection. Not at all sparkly or glittery - just a hint of light (I can't even use the word shimmer). I've used this as a wash over my cheeks. More recently I've been using a dab mixed with my Boots no. 7 cream eyeshadow. The amount of product is unbelievable. If you can't get it in the reward... I think it's totally worth the price - it's pretty, natural, and there's enough product for you and 25 of your friends to be perfectly luminized for the next 10 years. ;)

I love this product. I put it on after my primer and before my foundation. It's cooling, simmering and light. It's not greasy and it doesn't feel like it exaggerates any lines. It gives me enough shimmer to feel dewy and fresh.

Really great product, no complaints at all. Gives you a really nice dewy look without making you look white or sparkley or make it look like your wearing a really obvious highlighter. Its definitely layerable. Looks really dark when you squeeze it out of the tube but goes on sheer when applied. I will absolutely repurchase this product!

I use it all over my face, over a moisturizer and primer... I've ceased to use tinted moisturizers or any BB/CC creams... this one gives me just the perfect glow.. not too shiny, not too much but just right, just perfect... my skin looks amazing in day light and on the pictures... seriously in love with this product... I hardly feel the tingle more like its refreshing... I've tried so many luminizing products but dislike the shine they give... too much shine, in a few hours they all look too oily on me (I got combination skin, not too oily)... but this luminizer works the best for my skin, subtle but makes it glow perfect & healthy... I still add Nars of Benefit highlighters on my cheekbones when up for a glamorous look...

I have been using this on my shoulders/upper arms and decolette. I like the suble glow, makes me feel like I fighting off the winter blahs. I just use a small amount, so not too glittery, not greasy at all. I'll use this on my legs when shorts/skirt weather finally gets here.

I love this product. I got this for my 500 point beauty sample with the buxom gift set and I was weary at first because I have very sensitive skin.
This isn't your average tinted moisturizer. It is very sheen and lightweight and almost absorbs onto your skin! And the sheen it gives your face! It just makes your face look so dewy and fresh!
I didn't know about the "refreshing sensation" the first time and almost scared me at first. It's a cool soothing feeling on your face like you just had a cold pack on! It's amazing!
I will ALWAYS get this as my base for my face!

I received a sample of this with my 500 points reward and I loved it. I put it on after my makeup and it gives a dewy complexion look to my skin. I've received multiple compliments on how pretty my complexion is. Plus I love the cool tingling sensation it leaves on my skin:)

Got it in a 500 pt. perk gift. Tried it after reading some of the reviews. It's as great as the reviews say. Wear it on top of foundation, mixed with foundation, or mixed with your primer. Lovely subtle glow. The best part was that it helped tone down my oily shine. I'm usually in need of blotting paper and powder touch up after a few hours-not with this though. Loved that. The understated glow lasted all day. Others may dislike the tingly mint feeling and scent but I really like it. I wish they made this product in combination with a foundation.

Obnoxious tingling

This stuff looks great - gives you a nice glow. However the tingling sensation it produces became obnoxious when it didn't go away for me until an hour and a half later. No joke. Too much Peppermint. There's a difference between a pleasant tingling fire/ ice sensation and feeling like you stuck your face in dry ice. No thank you.

I got this in teh 500 pt set a few weeks ago and I honestly didn't expect much from it. I have tried a zillion highlighters, luminizers, bronzers etc. If it's out there I have worn it. This is by far the most natural looking of the lot. It gives that look that you get in vacation photos. That perfect sunshiny glow but without the sparkle or weird hue of some other contenders.
I have used this product in the following ways:
Allover my face- both mixed with foundation and applied before foundation-I recommend mixing the two before application for an all over healthy glow
As a Highlighter- put it on cheekbones, cupid's bow and bridge of nose- this is what I do most frequently
Arms, legs, chest- will be great for legs come summertime, great for chest, ok on arms but I'd rather save the product for my face!
As far as the tingling goes, I'd call it a cooliong effect. No burning whatsoever. If you love buxom gloss you already know the feeling:)

After being on the hunt for a Luminizer for a spell, this product came out; Buxom's track record has yet to fail me so I went for it. At first I was hesitant to decide how much I actually liked this product, but after a couple weeks deduced that I'm in love. And bonus, NO BREAKOUTS. For facial application, just a light dab on cheekbones, a quick swipe down the bridge of your nose, and a gentle patting above your cupid's bow and you'll glow like a supermodel. It's especially glorious on top of make-up as a final hoo-rah, but it does just nicely on bare skin as well. The same subtle tingling sensation that is in the Big & Healthy Lip Polish makes your face feel rejuvenated and refreshed. THE perfect Luminizer.

I love to try different products so I tried the Buxom luminizer. I am disappointed in this product after using a luminizer by Naars. It just doesn't give me the incandescent glow that I expected.
