Not impressed

Quick Take: overrated
Have used many, many self tanners over the years. UD, L'Oreal (Sublime), Xen-Tan, etc. I've used gel, mousse, lotion, and lotions with "gradual tanning". I was so excited to try this because I had heard so many excellent reviews for so long. It's pretty disappointing compared to other brands I've used; even drug store brands.
It is a mousse and dispenses in an almost black color. You have to shake the bottle really well in between each pump to keep it from separating. I noticed if I didn't shake the bottle, each time I pumped the product out, it was more and more striped instead of a uniform color. Mousse is easy enough to apply. The smell is great for a self-tanner. Gives good non-orange color. IMHO, just wears off too quickly. I had to reapply every other day just to maintain color. And I am obsessive about applying lotion daily and drinking tons of water to keep my skin hydrated. It's good enough I guess, but I don't think it's worth the price, which is why I rated it a 3. Debating just returning it.
In my opinion, if you're going to get a high end tanner, I would personally get Xen Tan. I do have, and love the St. Tropez mitt and use it with my XT. I also use disposable latex gloves to save my hands from staining.
Also: My skin type: Very oily, very fair, prone to break out, and BAD hyperpigmentation. Considering that I use a drug store brand spray for my face. I tried Beautisol but it is too orangey.

Quick Take: long lasting, natural looking, doesn't smell terrible:)
I've tried many self tanners, and, this is the best so far. When used with the body polish and moisturizing lotion, you get a lasting and streak free natural looking tan. Love the 16 oz. large size!
