I bought this with one of the New Classics colors, Swanky. I could not be happier with this product. It helped my color stay on, kept my nails from yellowing or allowing the color to seep in which is great considering the color lasts for 7-10 days on my nails. I highly recommend this product.

this is the best base coat I have tried; my polish last for at least 5-6 days; before this base coat, it would last only 1-2 days, before chipping. this is a keeper for me.

I purchased Sephora X based on the high ratings, and this is the best nail polish I've ever used! I've tried nearly every 'anti-chip' base coat, nail polish & top coat and well known brands over the years and none has ever lasted 2 full days without multiple chips on several nails. I know I'm rough on my hands/nails, am very active and have 3 big dogs to care for. I'm not one for artificial nails because I don't want the maintenance, cost, and I like changing my polish colors regularly. I am SO impressed with the Sephora X nail polish line I bought multiple colors. It is important to use the base and top coat from Sephora X though for longevity, the patented formula is made to use together. I thought at first I don't need them because I have so many...BUT I am very happy I bought the Sephora X base & top coat, what a difference it made! I used all Sephora X products to test the durability and it's lasted twice as long as any other brand I've ever tried with only a couple small chips on my LONGEST fingers which I seem to hit on everything. Believe the rave reviews, Sephora X is amazing and worth every penny!

I LOVE this product! For best results you really should get the base coat, a color and the top coat. I only did one coat of polish with the base and the top coat and it lasted 5 days before it started chipping and I even washed dishes without gloves... I did no touch ups or extra top coats during that time just to see how good this polish was. A-MAZING! I refuse to use any other polish again! Another great benefit is that it really does thoroughly dry fast. After 5 minutes or less, I didn't have to worry about smudging or anything. One thing to note, don't try and use the base coat and top coat without color polish between, the top coat with start to peel off within hours...

I read the reviews prior to purchase. After using this basecoat, I was very pleased with performance. Does not let color bleed through to nail. My polish stays on and doesn't chip when used together with top coat. Very happy with this product and will order again.

Wow. My manicure looked perfect (no chips or wearing) for at least 3 days. After that, there was a little wear, but even after 8 days, if you weren't close, you couldn't tell it was chipping. Great stuff!!!

Quick Take: keeps polish from chipping, smooths nails for polis ready, drys fast for your polish coat
The quality of this Sephora X is just fabulous. Polish bursh is perfect for a beautifuol manicure, polish lasts 7 days using the Sephora X Base and the Top Coat. No chips, shine, drys fast using Sephora Dry & Mighty. Worth the price even the price is reasonable in comparison to others.

Picked this up the other day at a Sephora store along with the Top Coat. I did my nails that night using the Sephora X Top Coat and Base Coat. I'm on Day 3 and my nails look as good as when I first did them. No chips or peeling or lifting and super shiny and smooth! I'm pretty rough on my nails, too. My polish tends to chip within a day or two. Very excited to finally have something that keeps my at-home manicure looking so good for so long!

I made the mistake as using it as a top coat as well (as I tend to do to save $) and it leaves a weird sticky film on the top of the polish that peeled off a couple days later. Made a difference in wear for Sephora X, but doesn't seem to have much of an effect on other brands. Still a good buy though as I can't get enough of the Sephora X line!

Absolutely the best base coat on the market. I can't believe how long my manicure lasted and my nails grew so long and looked so healthy because they were always protected with nail polish. Use it with the Sephora X top coat, Prime and it's even better. No chipping, no peeling - AMAZING!

Quick Take: fast-drying
After applying a coat of this base coat on my nails the Sephora X polish "stick" to the base coat and dried quickly. I've used it with glitter and non-glitter Sephora X polishes and it made the polish go on smooth as glass. I've never really seen the use of base coats in the past, but this one is a must have!
