Quick Take: chip resistent, long wearing, fast-drying
I would definitely start with a base coat with this polish for easiest removal and for maximum chip protection, but it really does wear well. I typically keep a coat of polish on for a week at a time, and I had no chipping issues. It was rough in texture, but I didn't have a top coat on, so I would recommend that as well. 2-3 coats should be about right for best coverage, but it dries super-quickly, so that's really no problem. The color intensity is great.

"cold hearted" nail polish

I bought the "cold hearted" nail polish. I apply 4 coats of nail polish with clear coat on top and I absolutely love this glitter.

Very fast drying

Quick Take: fast-drying
I got the power hungry. The first time I applied, the speed it dried just surprised me. Usually it would take about 5 min before I can apply the top coat, but this one, in 1-2 min, I feel it dries completely in touch.
It does requires retouch every other day, but it is not big deal for me.
Love it!

Super sparkle!

Quick Take: fast-drying
This polish is great.... I got it yesterday in the hot pink and if you love glitter, you will love his. It is super sparkly, dries quickly and so far has not chipped. I will update my review after a few days. I put a few clear top coats on it and it looks great.

Quick Take: fast-drying
This polish is eye catching in the bottle and on the hands. I tried it in three of the sparkle colors, and all appeared exactly as in the bottle. You need the top coat to avoid chipping, and to make the polish feel smooth, otherwise there is a rough finish.

Sephora X Power Hungry - Not Worth It

This is a very pretty red glitter polish. I loved that even though it's a glitter, it gives perfect coverage in 2 coats. But, it chipped within one day (even with a base coat and a top coat). For the price, I expect at least a few days of good wear time before I see chips. I returned my bottle. 2 stars for the nice color and coverage.

I feel like I need to click my thumbs together and say "There's no place like Sephora!" It takes 2-3 coats for a even rich look and I highly recommend using the Sephora X prime base coat and Sephora X clear topcoat. The glitter is small and even and after the topcoat the polish is smooth. What you see on the bottle is exactly the color you get on your nails. Overall this is now my go to nail polish for the holidays!
