Great color but chips fast
-05.05.13
Quick Take: fast-drying
I tried this nail polish in the store and loved the color and shimmer immediately. Unfortunately it chips very fast. After 1 day I already had to re-do it. I've only been using OPI or Essie recently and was hoping that this nail polish would last similarly long. It's a great nail polish for 1 night but I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a low maintenance color that you can wear all week.

Perfect muted sage (?) green
-05.03.13
Quick Take: long wearing
I've been looking for the right light green color for ages. Although, I'm all about shocking nail colors, I needed something subtle enough to wear to the office without drawing too much attention, but also to satisfy my longing for fashionable looks. This one is perfect. It's a muted, pastel sage/pistachio green. Don't know how to explain it, but its lovely.

I love the toppers from Sephora X but I'm not so fond of the other polishes. I bought Self Righteous which is a gorgeous nude color but it takes forever to dry even with one application. I have polishes from other brands that are much cheaper and of better quality.

How many "favorites" can I have????
-04.19.13
Quick Take: long wearing, fast-drying, chip resistent, amazing!!!
Passive Aggressive is my sixth shade of the Sephora X line, and what a FUN shade it is with my fair-tone! On my second bottle of top coat because the first one became too thick to apply without bubbling. Still on my first bottle of base coat after becoming hooked on this line 6 months ago! Every manicure lasts at least 5 days before any sign of wear (a slight chip). Usually, it's nail growth that impacts the wear at the cuticle, which can hardly be controlled. This line is INCREDIBLE! The only formula I DON'T care for is the mattes.

No chips!
-04.14.13
I use my hands a lot: it's been a week and this stuff has barely chipped at all...with no top coat! Amazing. I got "Prudish" which is a light lavender grey...it's a nice way to do grey nails without your hands looking kind of dead.

Love This!
-04.11.13
This nail polish is amazing; gorgeous color, beautiful glitter and it wears well. The only downside is how difficult it is to remove. Otherwise I love it.

Hit or miss
-03.26.13
Quick Take: hit or miss
I really love the top coat and base coat offered by the Sephora X line. However, I have had some issues with some of the polishes I picked up. The formula is either too thick or applies streaky. The only one of the three colored polishes that I had any luck with was Hoodlum and even then there were weird bubbles, but it did apply the best.
I wanted to add that I was told the Sephora X line is free of the "big 3" chemicals... in case anyone was wondering.

I'm a believer!
-03.18.13
Quick Take: durable, good value, great
I purchased the color Secretive. It's the perfect smoky, plummy-violet color that I have been looking for. As for the X line I love it because it is fast drying, durable, long lasting, very opaque and applies well. I even could have gotten away with one coat if I wanted. Definitely take the time to apply a base and top coat to your nails - I almost always do - and you should get great results. I normally have a very hard time keeping my mani from chipping or peeling after the first day and X lasts longer than any other polish that I have tried, high end or inexpenssive, hands down.

HEAVY GLITTER
-03.11.13
Quick Take: chip resistent, long wearing, fast-drying, mild shine, not in your face shiny
THIS IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. IT IS HEAVY GLITTER, AND I LOVE IT....NO 2 OR 3 COATS NEEDED HERE!
IT'S ROUGH FEELING, THOUGH IF YOU DON'T PUT 2 OR 3 COATS OF TOP COAT. BUT, FOR ME IT'S GREAT.

Great on...horrible to take off
-03.06.13
Quick Take: long wearing, fast-drying
This polish looks great on. I loved it instantly and received many compliments. What I didn't like is that it was next to impossible to remove. The color which I purchased was called delirious. It was almost all glitter which I think caused this issue. Not sure if I'll wear it again.

HEAVY GLITTER
-03.01.13
YOU CAN WEAR THIS ALONE OR ON TOP OF ANOTHER COLOR. TWO COATS ON THEIR OWN MAKE IT A TRUE HEAVY METALLIC LOOK. I LOVE IT. I BOUGHT OTHER COLORS, AND LOVE THEM ALL.

sent it back
-02.22.13
I thought this color would be more of a light purple tinted grey. It looked like house primer. I tried to like it, and it looked a bit different in every light, but family members kept looking and going "ick, what color is that?!" I had to agree. Also , it peeled off in one giant peel. Very weird. Easy, but weird. Sent it back.

Best at-home polish ever!
-02.12.13
Quick Take: chip resistent, long wearing
I started training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu a few months ago and, in an effort to remain a little pretty at the gym, decided to make an effort to keep a nice pedicure. Unfortunately, the texture of the mats scraped off any polish/topcoat combination I'd tried. An associate at my local Sephora suggested I try the X system and it is AMAZING. My pedicure is now 10 days old with only one tiny chip after taking a major beating in class and my fingernails look great after a week and a half of Jiu Jitsu, housework, office work, several sinks of dishes and running around with my dogs. I will be heading out at lunchtime to purchase more colors.

Very sparkly but not too brash. A bit difficult to remove due to the glitter.

if you like Essie's playdate, you'll love this color! Add the base and top coat by Sephora X and your color will last all week without a touch up! These are the best polishes i've ever used, and I'll def buy more!

So worth the money!
-02.01.13
I have this in Rugged and Pushy. LOVE them both. Rugged has more opaque coverage than Pushy, but the colors are equally flattering. I deal with a LOT of papers (teacher) and it takes three or four days before I have tip wear. I do use the Sephora X base/top coats, which really help keep my nails looking spiffy.
