Very Nice Beauty Balm!

I really like this Beauty Balm, and I've tried a lot and did not care for them. This is a nice self adjusting color, I have no problem with it matching my light skin tone. Alone, this gives a nice light even coverage, matte finish, and does a really good job of filling in pores! This also looks great under foundation, used as a foundation primer, especially for anyone with texture issues with their skin, or someone who likes additional coverage. It pairs really well with Stila's Stay All Day Foundation, for a beautiful high def, matte finish. This Beauty Balm is also water resistant which is nice, I love long wearing complexion products!

Quick Take: adequate coverage, great as sunscreen
This is my first experience with Bb cream, and I'm not disappointed. It covers well, stays put all day, does not settle into pores, and evens skin tone. I have worn it out in the sun for extended periods, and have not burned. The color does match my skin tone, however I can imagine that there are some who it would not be a good match for.

Amazing for Acne Prone Skin

The secret to this product is to use a very tiny amount and using a dense flat foundation brush or a dense small stippling brush to buff it out. This will even out the skin quite nicely. Now I do have quite a bit of hyperpigmentation from acne and blemishes as well. I use a dense I shadow buffing brush to apply Stila foundation over the blemished areas. The finish is matte. I have not broken out from it. It is waterproof so I can wear it to 12 hour work days and still look quite fresh. Just don't forget to blot out the excess oil.
I will definitely repurchase.

Great oil control, good coverage

This is my second favorite BB cream (first is Dior). It blends well and provides great oil control for my normal skin (not oily). The color is a bit light for me so mixing it with the Dior BB cream makes a phenomenal combination.

I have worn this twice, which I know isn't a lot, HOWEVER both times it has felt thick and it looks orange. I was very skeptical when getting a sample because of the color. I asked the associate if the color will blend and if it adapts to everyone's skin tone and she confirmed yes. Well I have to disagree, it is orange. I can definitely tell a difference in my neck and face, and the color stays orange throughout the day. it is also thick and not very moisturizing.

I always read reviews about how products change your skin, complexion, etc. I try it & it ever happens to me. It works! This truly is AMAZING! I can't believe how flawless my skin is now. I have people stop me & tell me how beautiful my skin is & I'm 50 years old. This stuff is unbelievable!

I had this applied in store (after asking for a light, natural look) and was told that it would blend to match my skin. I looked in the mirror two hours later, and it looked cakey and still very orange. I will be returning this.

I like to use it as a primer and moisturizer to wear under my mineral powder makeup. It definitely makes my makeup last longer; my one complaint is that it makes my already-oily skin even oilier so I need to blot extra on the days that I wear it. I have medium skin and it blends perfectly and has nice coverage, plus I love that it has Zinc Oxide for its SPF.

I love Stila products for many reasons and when my tinited moisturizer started to run out, I decided to jump on the BB train. Maybe there was just too much hype? Was I expecting too much? I feel like it's a waste of my time and money. :( I don't like the way it applies (very thick and sticky) and it turns my face orange! I haven't noticed any benefit but it hasn't been a "holy grail" product for me as soon have said. (I was hoping it would be!!!) I also don't like the smell. If something is awesome, I'll tolerate a bad smell but unfortunately this just bums me out on every level!! I gave it a 2 because it hasn't made things worse but for the kind of money we girls spend on make-up we should be getting way more bang for our buck then I believe you get with this product.

don't waste your money

Being a busy mom of 2 small kids i wanted something quick and effective. At the advice of Sephora staff i tried this one. It doesn't do anything it claims. I tried it by itself my skin did look any better. I then tried it today under my foundation (lancome 24 hr which totally defeats my reason for buying this) and my skin actually looks worse! every line and pore is magnified. Ill be returning this for the smashbox bb cream

Omg is all I can say I've never been so impressed with a bb cream as I am with this one! I like having coverage but I hate the heaviness of foundation u literally just put a lil dab of this on with ur fingertips making sure to blend well and omg its like a full coverage foundation, just know that it is buildable for light-full coverage, it is so smooth smells great has spf 30!!! Good for light to med skin tones and probably best on combination dry skin types because it is so hydrating. I am in love this might be my new holy grail product!!

I have ALWAYS struggled to find a good foundation for me. Either the texture was good but color didn't match or vice versa. I also had some problem with my makeup flaking off after a while.
But this bb cream is heaven sent. No funny scent, perfectly blends with my medium complexion and the makeup artist at Sephora showed me how even in the summer when I get a nice tan the cream will still cover me well. I love it and my skin still feels soft even after removing the cream.

Best bb cream I've tried by far, I have an olive completion and it blends perfectly, leaves a matte finish and does not clog pores or cause any breakouts. I can put this on with mascara and be ready for the day!

I bought this because a sales person recommend it at the store. I was looking for light coverage, at first it seemed to work but it didn't last throughout the day. My make up seemed to be melting. I was disappointed that I wasted my money on this product. I don't recommend it.

After reading reviews and a long time user of their foundation, I was really excited to switch things up for the spring and try this out. Ends up I was really disappointed and returned it the next day. It is super thick (for me) and made me look yellow and "made up." Certainly not a goal

Great coverage, no pore clogging feeling

I was reluctant to try this product because I don't like thick foundation that clogs up my pores. This was really great because it didn't have that feeling on my skin, but still gave great coverage so I wouldn't have to worry about re-application the rest of the day. I'll definitely be getting this product again when I run out.
