Great for buffing!
-05.15.13
This sponge applicator is designed extremely well- flat tips help smooth and buff out my foundation. I love this even better. Than the Beautyblender!

Happy
-05.10.13
I'm happy that I purchased this sponge. But I wish that sephora would sell the beauty blender. I feel like that would do the job on settling your foundation. But other than that this is an okay product. Male sure u apply ur foundation with the sponge a little damped.

Nice, but not totally necessary
-05.08.13
Quick Take: dual-ended, easy to use, weak material
I was looking for a sponge to help blend my BB cream so I didn't have to use my fingers and heard that this flat top sponge would work well. This sponge does blend nicely and feels great on my face but I'm not sure it's nothing my fingers can't do when applying my BB cream. The material is quite fragile after being used when wet, so a recommendation is to not put it back in the holder as it may lead to tearing. I don't think this was a necessary purchase for me but I will keep it because it is a nice option to use a sponge instead of my fingers for foundation or BB cream and the price was not bad.

I simply adore this sponge
!!! It's awesome to work with while damp, i use less foundation with this sponge and I can apply my make up 2x as fast ! I really recommend it works just as well for me as the beauty blender !!! Watch me on you tube for make up tutorials most of my stuff is from sephora <3 YouTube name : Msvivid21

Garbage
-05.03.13
Quick Take: dual-ended, reusable
The Sephora I go to was out of Beauty Blenders and I purchased this in a pinch because I was leaving for a trip that day and desperate. When dry, it feels much harder than the Beauty Blender and when wet it feels more similar to it. However, when you start "pouncing" it on your skin it isn't soft at all and feels like you are tapping your face with a piece of play-doh. It is hard and has very little give and does a horrible job at foundation application. It soaks up a lot of the product and is just no good. On top of that, after 3 uses and washes I saw a tear in the narrow middle part. Unacceptable! Doesn't compare at all to the Beauty Blender, which is a true holy grail product. Avoid!

different and better than using fingers
-05.01.13
This little sponge is pretty handy. I like using this insteand of my fingers. I feel like I'm getting better coverge. LOVE the stand it comes with. I just wish it came with instructions on how to clean it. I'm going to assume the same way I'd clean my brushes.

Love the sponge but….
-04.27.13
Quick Take: fragile
I used it once and it ripped immediately. I had read reviews that it was fragile so I was extra gentle and it still tore. I am using it still though because the store wouldn't take it back when I called.

I love the finish this gives, but my sponge ripped the 2nd day I used it...I'm pretty sure it was from putting it in the holder...but I still use it.

I love the way this sponge applies make up! Just be careful because it tears easily when it's wet. Great price too!

Like everyone else, I loved the coverage and shape of this product. It was perfect in every way until I washed it after a week. It's still holding together by a thread, but it'll die soon. As I've had it for only about a week and a half, I'm incredibly disappointed.

I wish the shape was a bit different. But this sponge doesn't leave streaks and gives a smooth finish.

Quick Take: fabulous
This is such a great tool. It applies my foundation perfectly on my face to the point where it feels like there isnt anything there, yet the coverage is awesome. OHH and the free stand body of the sponge is great. I am definitely planning on buying more soon.

Don't wet it
-04.15.13
I used the original beauty blender in the store, which the associate wetted before using. She then told me I could buy the sephora version which is $8 cheaper. Why not?? I went home and wetted this one before applying my foundation and it broke. I took it back and bought the original.. Just don't wet it before using.

Compared to the beauty blender..,,,,,,
-03.28.13
I have to say I really like this makeup applicator. I've been using the beauty blender for a while (which I love by the way!) and they both work really well. I like the flat side of the sponge for blotting. Overall it's a good product and way cheaper. Good buy.

Not bad
-03.27.13
Overall I like this sponge. I would use sephora daily brush cleaner spray and spray it on and dab it off before applying my makeup. This left the sponge damp and I loved the way it applied my makeup. I used with liquid matte foundation and also with powder and finishing powder just because I liked the application. CONS: it tore in the middle early on which sucks and Since it's not pointed, it is hard to get around the eye area but not harder than a normal sponge would be.
