Quick Take: hydrating, moisturizing, amazing
I am a nut about scar products. I have some scars from cystic acne and this has helped immensely. It is less expensive than most of the other products similiar to it, which I love. The rollerball glides well and I couldn't be happier with this product. Love this line!

Can not say enough good things about this serum. I have acne and sometimes the scars are raised and look awful. After just a couple of days they were remarkably smaller and flatter. Honestly I can not believe it! Totally worth the money. After a few weeks the scars were barely visible. Great stuff.

This stuff is amazing. I normally don't do reviews but I jus have to for this! I don't know how it works, it jus does. It start works in the first week... Only thing- hate the sticky feelin! Otherwise love it. Best sephora purchase to date!

Mild results after nine days

Quick Take: moisturizing
I bought this nine days ago and have already noticed some mild results. I have scars of varying depths on my face from acne. There has been some improvement in the shallower ones, but no noticeable difference in the deeper indents. I also have a large raised scar on my upper arm from a accident about twelve years ago; this one has seen more marked improvement than the indented scars. It has almost complete flattened out and when I run my index finger across the area I can hardly feel it. The coloration has improved as well.
Given my experience thus far, I have to conclude that this cream is incredibly effected on raised scars and (so far) not effective on indented acne scars. However, the acne scars may need more time, so I will follow up on this review after the recommended eight weeks.

I am a compulsive skin picker which has resulted in numerous pitted and wavy scars on my face. I got this to see if I could flatten them out any. While this is no miracle product, some of the less severe scars are very slightly better.

Miracle serum

This has probably been my best Sephora purchase to date. I have tried absolutely every product out there to get rid of or hide my acne scars and i picked this one up on an impulse. After only 3 days I have already noticed some of my worst scars are fading and all of them are much smoother making them easier to conceal. I have combination skin and it is already working on both the dry and oily parts of my face. I would definitely recommend this product!

I know KS has a great reputation for skin care. This is my first product purchase from the line. I have a few scars on my chin & upper lip from past blemishes. Unfortunately, I used the product for a few days & I broke out in the same spots that I was using the serum! I would have thought it was a coincidence except that I developed 2 blemishes in different spots where I was using the serum. I discontinued use & will try again to give it 2nd chance. Everyone in the reviews raves about it.

I was pretty skeptical at first because I've used many other products to clarify my acne scars. I know that Kate Somerville skincare line is pretty awesome so I just gave it a go. Not even 8 weeks, but after only a couple of days using this product I definitely noticed a dramatic difference in the coloration of my acne scars. They have started to fade away!!!!! It's been now about 2 and a half weeks using this product and I absolutely love it!

I have super sensitive skin and I've used other kate somerville products before and they haven't caused me any issues. I have one scar on my face that is maybe four years old. It's not very deep but it's redder and more noticeable than I'd like it to be. I decided I'd try this out and after three weeks it really made a difference! Slowly but steadily, my scar is becoming less red and less noticeable. I hope I continue to see a difference! It didn't irritate my skin at all. At first I was annoyed by the packaging which is a rollerball but it really helps to not waste the product. Overall? four stars. Glad it didn't irritate my skin and really glad it's made a difference after a short period of time.

-When I applied it and rubbed it in, the lotion just sat on my face. Did not actually penetrate my pores.

Quick Take: kate sommerville scar diminishing serum, has done what it said it would do!, easy to apply and the metal ball is very helpful
This has worked wonders on a scar on my knee (not a new scar). It has taken all of the lumps out of the scar and done a beautiful job of smoothing the skin around the scar (12 stitches). The only thing it hasn't done is reduce the redness,

I picked up a sample of this at my local sephora, and needless to say, I was very impressed. I had a pimple that I had popped and after putting this on it, it was nearly healed over night! Amazing!

I usually don't write reviews, but this product is awesome. I have a very bad habit of picking on my blemishes, and of course it left scars after. This helped me a lot to diminish those scars! It says 8 weeks, but I saw the result by less than a week! :)

Had my 2nd c-section 9 months ago and within 3 days of use my fiancée could tell the difference already and pointed it out to me! It looks just like a line now! I've been using it on my acne scars too but can't tell the difference. Highly suggested for surgical scars! And this is my first review EVER! I've been a loyal sephora customer for many, many years now. This stuff is AMAZING!

Quick Take: scar diminishing serum
I recently had Mohs surgery for basil cell carinoma on my nose January 10th and reconstruction on Jan 11th. I was told to run vitamin E on the area after 2 few weeks but moved up the timetable and bought Kate Somerville's D-Scar which is a a scar diminishing product - within one day I can visually tell the product is doing exactly what it professes to do. The plastic surgeon said to hold a warm compress on it 3x a day for two weeks - I do this and use the serum after. What an amazing product. It is great to purchase something that actually WORKS!!! Thank you Kate Somerville for putting a product out there that is totally incredible.
