I love Bare Minerals products and have used them for many years. I do not usually get caught up in buying the special sets and brushes - I find them to be a bit pricey. However, I thought this set was absolutely beautiful, practical, and a good value. I bought a second on efor a gift!

This brush is so soft!! The large size on the foundation is great. I love the long handle on the brush, too. I have not found a real use for the box, but I know I will; meanwhile, it is decorating the top of my dresser.

Very disappointed n not receiving the 3 free samples of perfume even though I was given extra points. Wanted to try them before buying full sized bottle. Product was fine as expected.

I already knew I liked the BE foundation, but I was so pleased with this kit! The jar of foundation is huge! I haven't used BE in a while because it had sort of stopped working for me, so I switched to liquid/cream foundations for a while. I don't know if they improved the formula or if I just needed a break, but this time I'm finding it more creamy and covers well too! You get a lot of it and the matching brush and box is just the icing on the cake! Super glad I got it! The box is way nicer than I expected too!

I love the box, the powder container, and the brush! All are the quality I'd expect from bareMinerals, with the added bonus that the pattern and colors are so cute! The value is pretty good as well, considering you get a really large foundation and the brush - the box is a nice bonus.

Quick Take: good value, great product, chic packaging that is refillable, box doubles as a makeup box/container/organizer
If you need more foundation, get it. Dont listen to the crabby patties out there whining that its not the twist lock go.... YOU WANT it to be the original sifter, so you can get the last of the product, AND refill it. The price tag seems high, but look at it this way, you are getting almost triple the product vs the regular full size- for a great price, AND its in a super chic box, WITH a handi buki brush, which would be $20 on its own. The brush is killer! I love love love it. Dont think on it too much, its ltd edition... you dont want it to be gone when you finally decide to order it. SUCH a great idea, and price!

Love it more than I thought I would

I was almost out of my bareMinerals fountation when I saw this jumbo glass jar. So I gave it a try. I like the box. I now store my eye pencils in it. I really like the brush. I use it when I want more coverage. I didnt like that the jar doesnt have one of those sliding tops to cover the holes. Not a big deal. Just an annoyance. All in all, very happy with this purchase.

Quick Take: good value, good value for a ja design
i bought this because i love jonathan adler, and let's face it, his goods are not cheap! i've used bare minerals in the past, but this brush makes a huge difference, absolutely love it! i wanted to keep the kit intact for collector's sake but couldn't resist! the "laquer" box is on my dresser and the powder and brush are in my powder room...if it makes a difference, i love the packaging way more than i like the product!

Quick Take: impractical
The actual powder is great. The brush is shedding too much. The compact is huge, certainly not able to carry in a handbag. Also, too much powder collects in the threads of the screw on lid and you have to be very careful to keep it from spilling. I liked the idea of the matching brush and compact and will use the product, but the packaging isn't as practical as I hoped.

I understand there are "more common" types of skin tones out there, but if you already create foundation colors for such a broad spectrum (I.E., the Golden Medium I use), then why can't you make the limited editions available for those colors? That sends out mixed messages about how you view your consumer base. I can't substitute any of these tones for Golden Medium, which is why I'm guessing that tone exists in the first place. I would even buy the container and brush separate of the foundation, but that's not an option given. FAIL.

Wow - I just opened the packaging. It is so lovely. Better than I imagined. The box design is great - but I didn't expect the foundation container& brush to also be so lovely. The heavy thick container feels so luxurious - I had expected the foundation to have regular packaging. This was a splurge - but the quality and design of the set is amazing - great style for a great price. More of these collaborations please!!

I've been hooked on bareMinerals for about 7 years now, and was running low recently so I had to get this set. It's even more beautifully packaged in person. Not only that, but for a deluxe sized product with a full size buki brush and a box to keep it in, the price in a steal. The only thing I noticed that I'm not too fond of is that I can't remove the sifter lid. I was hoping to put the last bit of my previous container in this new one. As of right now it doesn't look like I can, but hopefully fiddling with it will help. If I can make the makeup container reusable for my future make up purchases that will make this product my favorite bareMinerals purchase ever.
