A little bit let down

I initially tried these shadows in the store and loved the results - the blues and greens made my dark brown eyes look different then I had ever seen them, kina a pretty hazel color! So I ordered online right away b/c it was out of stock at my Sephora store. I couldn't wait to receive it and put it on. However once I got this set of shadows I realized the light iridescent blue is very splotchy and doesn't have very good staying power even with primer on. The other colors are nice but the require a lot of layers to get them to show and stay for me. They just don't blend like they should either... I have read the reviews and most people seem to love this palette, so maybe it's just me. I still use this mixed with my Lorac shadows as a little pop of color someways. I am just let down that these shadows aren't as great as I first thought.

Great spring colors

Just received this eye shadow in the mail today and it is fantastic. I bought it without seeing it in person and it really looks even better on then I could've hoped. Bright color but not obnoxious. I have extremely sensitive skin and have severe skin reactions to gluten and have had no problem with the bareMinerals eyeshadows. I cannot say the same for their foundations.

This was my first bareMinerals eyeshadow purchase. It took a few uses to LOVE it, but I do absolutely love it. It has become my go to eyeshadow. I am so impressed with the pigment, texture (no messy powder all over the place), and how well the colors blend. This is a great product and I will definitely be purchasing more colors from bareMinerals.

Wow, I've never been a big eyeshadow wearer but I really loved the colors so I tried it. Very bright and beautiful colors. Looks good sheer as well as a heavier application for more pigment. Super soft and blendable and good staying power. These eyeshadows are awesome! So glad I tried them!

such amazing pop of colors that last all day

such a great product. i bought this last minute before i headed out to an outdoor concert and it stayed on my eyes all day long not even one problem, and thats including with the horrible sunburn that came along throughout the day. i would recommend this to anyone, it so easily bendable and looks great on anyone. LOVE LOVE LOVE .. usually i go with urban decay eye makeup products but its time i start stacking up on bare mineral eyeshadows ... i just love everything about it and especially how easy it was to blend and apply and how long it lasted for ... didnt re-apply once and it looked the same as it did from when i first put it on to when i was wiping it off. did i mention how much i LOVE this product? indeed.

Fantastic on pigmentation. I am starting to really like these bareMinerals eyeshadows. I have 2 duos and now this quad. Each one I have has excellent pigmentation that last all day over my UDD primer. I love the colors in this quad and how well they complement each other.

Love these colors - has the perfect shade of blue

I have purchased all the large palettes of the ready eyeshadows. This is by far the best color combo that they came o.ut with. I have blue eyes, fair/medium skin tone with pink undertones. The blue shade on the bottom is the best shade of blue, not too light and not too navy. The lighter blue on top blends with it perfectly and it seems to have a bit of a goldish undertone to it. I also wear the brown/green combo together and love that as well. This has become my go to pallette.

This is the first time I have purchased any of the ready eyeshadow palettes from Bare Minerals. I have tons of neutrals already, and most of the palettes they have released have seemed to be neutral heavy to me. I was very excited when I saw this color combo and bought the palette. I am very glad I got it! The aqua packaging for this line is very spring like and appealing. The palette itself it nice and light and slim. The 4 shadows are kind of close together, but I have found that the shadows aren't super dusty and they don't cross into each other. I usually use urban decay eyeshadows.....the ready shadows are very well pigmented. The texture is a little more powdery than urban decay shadows are, but I don't have any issues in terms of application or fall out. The pigmentation and wear time is great with a primer. I get no creasing.
I absolutely love this color combination. Sensational is the very light seafoam green color. It looks almost white in the picture, but it is a nice light color. Icon is the chartreuse color. It is a very vivid color that can be blended out if someone is not a fan of it. Elitist is the brown color. It actually looks darker in the pan than it applies, but it mixes well with Icon. Controversy is the blue color. It is nice and pigmented. It is actually pretty easy to apply lightly because the shade is kind of powdery to pick up with your brush. It doesn't apply powdery, but you definitely have to pick up more color than I would think to get it a darker color. I use brushes to apply these shades. I do not use the included sponge applicator.

As mentioned in the other review, there is one repeat in this palette, but the shades all work together so I guess I think that it is fine. I am a HUGE fan of the BE Ready Eyeshadows, bar none some of the best on the market!! Loving this one as well! :D

I'm a full-on BE addict, and have recently become a collector of these Ready solid palettes. I saw this one in a BE boutique yesterday and, as a fan of bolder eye colors, I had to have it. Colors are pretty on (the chartreuse Icon has a sparkle to it; Sensational is soft).The only downer was, when I got it home, I discovered Elitist was a repeat from another palette - the 8.0 "The Star Treatment". While pretty (makes a nice eyeliner when used wet), it would have been nice to have a fourth new color to play with.
