Quick Take: good value, travel size
What a great set. The sizes are small, but the price is pretty low so it's to be expected. I disliked the BB cream (no coverage and made my face look greasy) but appreciated the chance to try it out in a small size. The primer is great, and I love the mascara. The brush is a little hard, so you need to be careful when applying to avoid hurting your eyes. :( But as long as you apply carefully, it goes on well and has good staying power. These are great products to try out and this low price is a great way to sample them.

The primer seems fine. The BB cream didn't have any coverage, however I did like the slight glow it had. The mascara is a more natural look rather than dramatic and it flakes a bit.

First, this was my first ever sephora buy. I was wary of the bb cream, because I was having a breakout, but after 2 days o using it, breakout was gone. Next, I tried the mascara. HOLY CHEEZEBALLS, BATMAN! This stuff is fierce! Love this and will so buy again.

First off, I really enjoyed the Primer and the Mascara. I will be honest, I picked up the kit because of the BB cream as I have never tried a BB cream before and I wanted to see if it was for me, the BB Cream was a bit too oily for me, but that just may be the consistency of BB creams all together. Overall I thought it was a really nice little kit.

I like the moisturizing cream and the primer. I use these everyday. However, I was unimpressed with the mascara. I still recommend the kit because of the other great items, though!

The other day I was at a Sephora and wanted to buy some new things to add to my make up collection. I was sampling some tatre make-up and really liked it, but I didn't have enough cash to get much of anything so when I saw this Little kit for Just about $10, I decided to give it a try. I wasn't expecting much when I saw how glittery the BB cream Moisturizer was, but I was totally wrong. All You need is a good Matte Mineral Veil/ Finishing Powder to subdue the sparkles. The Primer really is practically Pore-less/ crease-less and Long Lasting, and the Tinted moisturizer Adds light Coverage with a really pretty "Glow/ Dew" effect.
Yesterday I had to get ready in a flash to make it in time for a matinee movie with my hubby so I skipped my usual make up regime and put on all of these Products in the car with my Bare Minerals Hydrating Mineral Veil and boy did my skin look fabulous! I can't even Imagine how amazing this would look if it was mixed with the tatre mineral Veil. The only thing I didn't care for was the mascara. It is completely Competent, But I prefer my mascara brushes to be the rubbery kind because I like to define my lashes more then volumnize them.
I would recommend it Specifically for People with Warmer Fair/ Ivory Skin to Medium Skin That is Normal to Dry because the moisturizer does have a tint and since all of the components are liquid it might get a little shiny on oilier skin. Overall it's a great product for summer. Remember it's a natural one so the ingredients might separate sometimes. Don't Fret, Just shake it up before you use it. I will Probably end up buying another one before this one runs out!

Okay I bought this because it was cheap and I needed to spend more money to get free shipping LOL for something else I was order. I was looking for a face makeup for summer, in winter I use bare minerals but I find it too heavy for summer. Anyways, I used this whole kit and let me tell you it works better then anything I've tried, including the Lorac CC cream I was ordering originally! I was worried at first the BB cream would be too dark considering I'm paste white but no it looked beautiful and natural and dare I say it "Glowing" lol. The primer works nice to on problem areas to kinda even it out before you put on the bb cream. I still did use a little concealer on a big blemish on my chin:( and set with pressed power=flawless face. Use the mascara dd some lipstick and you're done! Great kit going to order full sizes of everything!

I bought this on a whim while checking out. I'm so glad I did. Although I probably won't replace my Smashbox primer with this one, it is just as good. I will, however, replace my current BB cream, which I was not crazy about with this one. It has a really nice finish. It provides enough coverage, but it is lightweight and goes on evenly. I also really liked the mascara. It goes on thickly and I didn't need to put on more than a couple of coats. I highly recommend this system before traveling.

I have never tried Tarte products before, but when I saw this cute packaged three piece set, I told myself that I have to try this. I love all three products in the set, it includes a primer, bb cream and a mascara. The primer smooths my face and makes the application for my foundation a lot easier. As for the bb cream it doesn't have much coverage and no spf, but its a good prep for foundation, it is especially good for those people have nice skin just to even the skin tone out. I have oily skin, I would only use the bb cream during winter to keep my skin moisturized. Lastly the mascara is really hydrating, I usually use waterproof mascaras and I wanted to let my lashes rest but still want my lashes coated with mascara. I think this mascara is good for people who want to achieve natural, and repair the moisture of their eyelashes. Additionally this mascara does smudge a little throughout the day and it didn't really kept my lashes curly.

These are very nice starter products, but once you have tried other primers, it seems quite greasy. Nice BB Cream, little to no coverage depending on skin tone, but illuminates without being glittery. LOVE the mascara, doesn't clump and accentuates lashes nicely. Overall, quality product.

I really enjoy the primer and use it on my nights out. It does keep me from getting too greasy. I can't use the bb cream because its too shiney and looks greasy on my skin although it has pretty good coverage. Worked great in an emergency situation when I forgot my foundation. I just had that and some blush. The mascara makes my lashes long and thick but it feels gentle. My lashes don't break of and the mascara does not crumble. I will be purchasing the full size of this mascara for sure. Great value for $12

This Tarte 3 piece set has a nice selection of products to try. The Poreless Primer is great and so easy to apply. The BB illuminating moisturizer gives a nice glow and can be worn alone or under foundation. It is not drying and because it really has no color, anyone can wear it. The Amazonian Clay mascara is a nice size to try before buying the full size. Give nice definition to eyelashes and does not smudge (at least when I used it). The tubes may not be that easy to get the last drop out but what you can do when you can't squeeze the tube to get anything out is to cut the end of the tube where you can stick your finger into it to get the remainder out. After I cut and use what I need, there is usually enough left inside the tube to use a few more times, so I put the cut tube in a small sandwich bag so the air doesn't get to it or dry the product out and then store it with my other makeup in my caddy. These trio sets are quite nice to try before buying a full sized product.

Overall, this kit exceeds expectations. The size is great for traveling and although they look really small, it lasts you a long time. The mascara is my favorite and the primer has a really nice, light feel to it. However, the BB cream is sort of light and doesn't match my skin tone very well. If you have a lighter shade of skin it would work for you. I started using it as a subtle highlight.
