Great introduction to the Josie Maran line. I've been a faithful Bare Minerals user for decades but noticed it wasn't working as well on my changing skin. JM's full size makeup has a slight grit to it, but blends well and provides ample,dewy,natural coverage without a telltale mismatch along the jawbone. The chameleon pigments are phenomenal. One pump is enough for your face. I set it with her powder for days when a less dewy look is desired. The sunscreen is excellent --no breakouts and I am super sensitive to the majority of sunscreens. Argan oil has multiple uses for skin and hair. The highlighter is a fun product for collarbones/cheekbones or may be blended with the makeup. All in all a wonderful set...cruelty-free, organic...everything I wanted. Continue to receive many compliments on how healthy my skin looks since I've started this line.

Quick Take: good value
It took me a while to love this stuff, I started out using the oil on my face and hands and it worked wonderfully. The matchmaker foundation has these little beads and it goes on kind of "gritty" and this is what took me so long to get used to. I can't say enough about these products, I love them and my face loves them. I'm really hoping the light/medium comes back so I can purchase another set. You can't beat the price on this set.

I have no complaints about the product itself, but in how Sephora priced this package. Online, the price is $64 CDN. When I purchased in store, it was $77. The reason? They have different skus, even though it is the exact problem. Although this issue was resolved and I was refunded the extra amount (and given an extra $20 gift card to boot), I would caution others to make sure the prices online and in store match. The store can't change the pricing (not their fault, they have to follow company policy), I had to email the company to have it corrected. Hopefully this was an isolated incident limited to this product only.
Otherwise, this product is a fantastic value, and a little goes a long way. I won't bore you with how this products work, bc there's tons of testimonials.

I find the oil to be OK, espenslve for what lt gives. The "hand cream" was a blg disapointment. I'm a nurse and my hands take a beating sometimes, this did nothing to help. It made my hands slippery without any lingering quality. I would not order again.

I purchased the daily moisturizer awhile back and fell in LOVE with it! I tried many different kinds of moisturizers with SPF and kept looking not being completely satisfied -- until I tried Josie's Argan Oil Moisturizer SPF 40. It's lightweight, doesn't smell and I love it! Loving the moisturizer, I wanted to try more of her products. I was excited about the idea of the foundation (I prefer a natural look) but was hesitant. When I came across this kit - I knew I had to get it - because if nothing else, it also had the moisturizer which I knew I loved. Pleasantly surprised, I love all the products in this kit! Adding a small pump of the illuminizer to the foundation is perfect -- adding a slight glow. The Argan oil is extremely versatile. Needless to say, I'm now hooked on all of these products! One more note, if you want heavy coverage with your foundation, this may not be what you're looking for. I like it because it provides light, natural looking coverage.

Quick Take: good value, flawless finish, quick and easy, good for your skin
Amazing set. If you are looking for a good light buildable foundation you have to try this serum foundation. After having kids I was suddenly faced with two problems, one my skin was suffering from lack of sleep and the hormone shift (dark circles, dark spots, uneven skin tone- I was a mess) and two, I had absolutely no time to apply makeup. I needed something with good lightweight coverage that wouldn't break me out but was incredibly quick to apply: a very tall order. I wanted to try this because the idea of high end makeup that was good for my skin appealed to me and I am very happy I did. In less than two minutes I can apply the argan oil, moisturizer and foundation for a flawless but natural look with a nice dewy finish. A little bit of blush on my cheeks, quick swipe of my tarte chubbystick and I'm done. Bottom line, if you want to look naturally beautiful with a soft healthy glow but don't have the time, BUY THIS SET!!

I've been wearing this for five days now, and I have been complimented every day! I'm very happy I got to purchase this before it sold out! It is not a full coverage foundation. And you will need setting powder to set it!

I live in NYC and I'm always walking in the heat rain snow u name it I'm out there in crazy weather and NYC apts are either too hot or too cold so my skin takes a beating and when I was introduced to the oil years ago it helped a lot it also helped with my sons patches of eczema when other things didn't work and I'm very pale so this set works great for me a definite must buy

Wasn't sure that I was going to like any of these products but boy was I pleasantly surprised. They all are amazing. The oil for your skin works wonders, the self adjusting make-up is remarkable and the other products are really good too. Buy this kit!

Quick Take: convenient, easy to use, well priced, effective
I have been looking at these products for a while and finally found this kit to try them. Why did I wait so long? I love using the oil on my starting to age face right out of the shower. The moisturizer has a good level of spf and I usually can't use that in my moisturizer, but this one does not break me out at all. It also smells fresh and fruity. For the first time in my life, I have a foundation that matches my skin perfectly!!! It comes out of the pump bottle white but quickly changes color to match my skin tone once it is applied. The Illuminizer is a yummy touch. I like to follow their recommendation and add a pump or two if it to my face with my foundation to give me an extra dewy look. I have been using the products for about two weeks and I have to say that my skin looks healthier and feels better than it has in years.

I have worn bareMinerals for over ten years but I decided to try Josie's foundation since I love her skin care line. This foundation is amazing. Your skin looks so polished and pretty and it only takes a few minutes for application. I am 52 and my skin wasn't looking a so great with bareMinerals anymore. My daughter is 22, with very fair skin. She applied the foundation too, she looks flawless. We both are switching to this foundation. This product is great for young skin and aging skin. Give this a try, you won't be disappointed.

This kit gives you every thing you need for beautiful glowing, healthy skin.. The foundation is light coverage but covers just enough. The SPF moisturizer absorbs so quickly as does the Argan oil. I love the entire kit!

overall, this line maybe good for dry/very dry skins but not for oily skins. Personally, I like the 100% argan oil and the serum foundation the most. The moisturizer has a light tint already and if combined with the foundation, it will give naturally good-skin look. Argan oil could be used by multiple ways. Google it and you'll find one fit your problem.

I have been using Jose's Argan Oil and color sticks for quite a while, so I wanted to try this set. The first set I got, the pump did not work on the foundation, but I loved everything else, so I returned the set and got another. Love everything in here. The moisturizer is awesome as is the foundation. They both go on white but then morph into a pretty natural color. This is my fav foundation so far. Not sure what to do with the lumiinizer but it might work better on younger girls. I will repurchase the moisturizer and foundation and as always, will continue to use the Argan Oil. Probably will not repurchase the luminizer. Don't hesitate to try this set.

I love this. I was previously using Proactiv and my skin was so irritated and raw. I started using this and my skin came back to life. Balance was restored, the tone became less red and more even and it finally feels healthy. I think I serve as the perfect example of what happens when you pamper your skin and you don't wreck it with harsh chemicals. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because it is just a touch drying. The highlighter is also pretty shimmery so it's not always appropriate for day wear. Otherwise, I have oily, very fair skin and I think it's been great. Additionally, the oil cleanser sample was amazing and that is definitely on my list of things to buy.

Nothing hydrates your skin like Josie Maran's argan oil! It has completely evened out my combination skin! I have skin that breaks out and I have a little bit of rosacia on my cheeks- I swear since I've been using this set, my skin hasn't been this clear in a long time! The 100% Pure Argan Oil is a MUST HAVE, as well as the argan oil face wash even though it doesn't come with this set.

I highly doubt I will ever go back to cream-based moisturizers and foundation. This product works! I have an oily complexion and it did not make my face oily. It has cleared up my skin from acne. All of the products work lovely together and your face doesn't feel overwhelmed. It's as if you're not wearing anything. It was definitely worth the money spent and I look forward to purchasing more Josie Maran products.
The only con I can think of is that you do have to reapply the foundation throughout the day. I haven't tried using it with a primer so this may be the reason as of why. Other than that, this product is awesome.
