Quick Take: moisturizing
I gave this a real chance to work I believe. I tried two tubes before I decided it just didn't work that great for me. I am a fair skinned red head. I was using it on dark spots on my neck and face.

Quick Take: dark spot minimising
I have pigmentation (dark spots) on my skin that has worsened with sun exposure, and have tried a whole range of beauty products, including peels, vitamin C, vitamin E, even so called "professional" products like Meladerm. Most of them had almost no effect, save the peels, which helped some but gave me raw skin. This one though, worked after using it for less than 2 weeks! My pigmentation is reduced, and it seems to work even better when I use it in the day, and then a vitamin C powder at night.

I've been using for about 3 weeks now. For some reason, it doesn't seem to do much for my smaller, lighter acne marks. However, I've noticed a big difference in my larger, darker marks. They're definitely getting smaller and easier to cover with concealer.

Quick Take: exfoliating
I have already noticed a difference after only 3 weeks of use. This may be because I am already dark-skinned myself, but I'm actually having a hard time finding some of my newer dark spots (the older ones are lighter but persistent, but then again, it's only been 3 weeks). I even had a dark spot on my ankle (which is about 10 shades lighter than my face) from an old blister and this is lightening that up. Use of the exfoliating tip, I believe, is key. It really works it into your skin.

I bought this back in Feb, and I did use it every day twice a day and all it did was break me out and make more marks on my face. I did nothing for existing ones. Not happy at all.

I've been using this product for 4wks as part of my night time routine & have seen a dramatic decrease in my dark spots. I'm excited to see what the results will be after another 4 wks. My rating will be bumped to Excellent if I get the results I'm expecting!

Slowly but Surely

I bought a tube of this with the intent of checking to see if a less expensive product would give me the results I was looking for before rushing headlong into a more expensive brand. I've used the entire tube in an attempt to lighten a couple of dark freckles and quite a few lighter ones. I've got red hair and very pale skin.
My 2 darkest spots are 30% lighter. I can now cover them with concealer and you can barely see them. My lighter spots fared even better...some are completely gone and the others are probably 1 more tube away from being gone. I, of course, would love the product to work faster, but slowly, this is doing the trick and for $20, that's well worth the wait.
The only negative thing I have to say is I found I could not use this under my makeup in the morning. Seems to mess up the BB cream (Camera Ready from Smashbox) that I like to use so I put this on at night under my night time moisturizer.

I bought this to help reduce my dark acne scars (I used to pick at them) 2 weeks ago. I use it everyday, and my complexion has improved considerably! My friends and family even comment on it! I use the Josie Maran Argan Oil as a light moisturizer on top of it

Quick Take: hydrating, exfoliating, moisturizing, does the job i purchased it for
I have 4-5 different spot fade removers (some pricey, some not). This one being the least expensive out of 6 total, it works beautifully. I've been using this for approximately 1 week, once in the morning and once at night. The spot is 50% gone. The others I tried did nothing but this product is awesome! Don't spend a fortune on a product like this ... this is THE one!

In conjunction with lactic acid peels and this product, the hyperpigmentation on my cheeks has noticeably diminished. I'm going to say it lightened up the dark spots on my cheeks by 50%. I have 4 round extremely dark spots on my forehead and this product made them about 25% lighter. I noticed a slight difference after 2 weeks and now on the third, more improvements are being made. I am going to use the tube up and see if it is worth repurchasing. So far, so good.
Also, I recommend cleaning the applicator after each use

I had a horrendous out of nowhere breakout and subsequent scars, I tried the Clinique dark spot corrector, which I ran out of before the spots even faded slightly but within two weeks at half the price I've seen good noticeable results

I really love using this and the Sephora Collection Pour Refining Serum. I use them both day and night before applying my moisturizer. I am not exaggerating when I saw results OVERNIGHT! I have a LOT of dark spots from acne, and there was a marked difference in my skin after one use. The changes slowed for me after that, but I still saw continuous improvement. I am "deep" skin-toned (milk chocolate color), so fairer skin may take longer to show results.

Quick Take: inexpensive if it works
Like most dark spot cosmetics, it takes weeks if not months to see a result. Therefore, having purchased this item last week I cannot make any recommendations or suggestions. I am using this on my hands and of course use sunscreen on my hands all the time.
