Pretty colors, can be tricky to work with
-05.05.13
Quick Take: good value, dramatic, fun, bright
Admittedly, I'm a little biased because I absolutely adore greens and blues, so the color was certainly a major selling point for me. That said, I wouldn't consider this to be an emerald green. Beautiful as it is, it's way more blue-based than a true emerald would be. As I said, though, I love greens and this color really is beautiful, so please don't let that put you off.
The package itself really is a great value. Everything has *excellent* color payoff, so you're getting a lot of bang for your buck. A little bit goes a long way and here's where you should be careful. The shadow is gorgeous and bright and dramatic, but holy shadow fallout, batman. Make sure you wearing something over your clothes and have your eye makeup remover handy and be prepared to use it liberally because you're going to be doing a lot of clean up. The glitter is, well, glitter, so you shouldn't be surprised about the clean up for that, either. The gel liner (lid stain) is easy to work with and again, great color payoff. Same for the regular liner and the mascara.
Overall, I think the set is definitely worth it and it's a blast to play around with. Just know going in that you're going to get a little messy. It's nothing that can't be fixed easily enough, but it is a minor annoyance that I wish I didn't have to deal with.

Beautiful colour
-04.04.13
What a beautiful set this is! Incredible colour blend beautifully lasts well. The mascara is the first colour highlight that I've used that actually shows colour! I shared some elements with my daughter but I had to buy the items I gave her as I love them so much!

yikes

This set is only for the young. After looking at it in reality instead of the picture I realized I would look like an escapee from Grey Gardens. I traded it in for the single shadow box in tan, olive and green. This looks wonderful and I am able to blend it for different looks.

Bold for Spring

Quick Take: good value
I loved this palette. Glitter takes some time to get used to, so practice. Also, a setting spray is highly recommended when using the liners. Overall, love the color!

I love this collection! The colors are so fun for spring and summer. It comes with a how-to book to create very different looks from smokey blue and green to neutral with green liner. The makeup goes on evenly and stays put! Love it!

Color of the Best!
-03.19.13
Quick Take: fun, pretty
I'm a little biased because green is my color so for me this is the best possible color of the year!
The products in here range from awesome to meh. To start with the palette is amazing. Interesting that the color of the year is the smallest color in the palette. The colors are really vibrant and rich. The emerald needs a little building.
I'm not the biggest fan of jumbo eye liners (I really don't know how to use them). However this liner is really good for laying down a base.
The mascara is really fun. It goes on smoothly and works well for either the ends of eyelashes or for a full coat. The mascara doesn't clump or spider very much.
The gel eyeliner is really great. The color is so vibrant and goes on very smooth. Love this one!
The glitter is fun, but I wish that another product had been put in it's place for this set. It's pretty and goes well with the gel liner.
Cream eyeshadow. Again another product that I don't know much about. I had trouble getting it on (even with a cream shadow brush). It might just be me, but I'm not a fan. Again I think that another product could have been put in place of this and the glitter (like the blush set).
I'm very happy with this purchase overall. Yay for the color of the year!

It has some nice products

I liked some of the products inside. I wouldn't purchase it again, I would rather buy some of the products individually. I liked the gel liner, the eye shadow, and the glitter.

Quick Take: good value, modern, colorful, trendy, bright
Excellent buy, bright color palette, fun for spring and the dramatic. I tend toward the trendy, so I'm having a blast with this set.
The Color Theory Shadow Block (Bionic) is deeply pigmented. It's really quite dramatic, and great for evening wear. I find it lasts well, especially with primer. I find it a little difficult to wear for daytime--at least with all three shades--but mixing just a little of the green or blue in with neutrals is fun.
Color Code Prismatic Block - a less-teal green, and less metallic than the grid. It goes on smoothly, and isn't quite as bright. I love this for just a touch of color. It's the perfect true green. It doesn't seem to be as pigmented as the grid, but with primer and several layers, it lasts well.
Mascara--it's green, but not obnoxiously so. (I'm a child of the 80s, so maybe don't take my word.) Applied over dark, it's a great accent. I also wear it just on the center lashes, or just on the lower lashes.
The Lid Stain is really soft and very sparkly. It's super soft, and I apply it with a stiff eyeliner brush. It lasts all day, with or without primer.
Glitter dust--it's like a mineral powder, and very sheer. I haven't quite figured out how to use this yet.
Jumbo liner. This is maybe the one product I'm not terribly fond of. I don't think it's dark enough, and it doesn't glide on very smoothly. But it might be that my skin is too oily.
Overall--it's a great set.

Just in Time for St. Patricks DAY! :D
-03.07.13
Quick Take: good value, travel size
I am loving this Collection... just as I loved last years Color of the Year... I purchased almost the whole collection and I haven't found a fault much in anything...except the lipgloss's are bit hard to get out of the neat packaging. Everything was extremely pigmented. The shadows blended out amazing and the mascara is very neat for accenting the lashes. The Gel Liner is still on my hand from swatches after washing them about 10 times today and it is still on my WATERLINE! :D The Pigment is unique in that the base is a powder Emerald and the micro glitter is a white purple duochrome..very pretty. If your looking to do a Green/Emerald Looks this is your BEST bet in one box!

Good value!
-03.06.13
Quick Take: good value
I just bought this and while I have not had a chance to fully evaluate all products to the fullest extent, it is a great value! The "bionic" shadows are highly pigmented and beautiful when applied. However, it is not as long-lasting as UD shadows, even with primer. The cream eyeliner also looks beautiful, but doesn't seem to be as long-lasting as my NARS eyeliner. To be fair, though, I have never used any other cream liners, so I don't have anything to compare it to. The mascara is not something I would use for daily wear, but a very fun product! I would say if you want something fun, go for it, the price is right and the colors are beautiful!
