Guerlain Météorites Perles du Paradise

What it is: An illuminating sparkling powder for face and decollete. What it does: Guerlain’s legendary magic pearls illuminate your skin with a beautiful radiance. These pearls from paradise feature six skintoned and pastel shades in an oversized and limited edition case that comes with a beautiful, pink powder puff for perfect application. The traditional correcting colors blue and green have been replaced by pink to brighten dull areas and silver to reflect ambient light and create a one-of-a-kind glow. Regardless of skintone, the complexion is instantly rejuvenated and lightened up with a subtle shimmer.

Highlights problem skin
-04.25.13
I have larger pores, and this just accented them. I think it looks great on smooth, flawless skin, but if your skin is at all problematic it just highlights the problem areas. I returned it.

Like Photoshopping my face
-04.24.13
Quick Take: reduces shine, sheer coverage
I can't even pinpoint what it does, but my make up after I apply the meteorites is smoother and brighter. Makes me super happy!

Not Nearly As Sparkly As Expected
-04.22.13
Quick Take: glowy, not that sparkly, perfect pink tone
I was not sure I would like these meteorites as I am used to the Teint Dore which I really like. I was looking for a pink based color over blush. I finally got a chance to try these out and I must say it was a pleasant surprise. The color is still very subtle, yet pink and the sparklies just were not anything at all to be frustrated with.
I am not into a lot of sparkles on the cheeks, but this really does not have a lot of them if I use a fluffy natural bristle brush.
My daughter raves every time I put these on and I use them as a blush over the teint dore all over my face and the look is perfect.
I like these much more than expected.

Sparkly!
-04.05.13
Quick Take: illuminating, sparkly
I bought these meteorites thinking they were the original, but they are actually a spring limited edition. I was actually looking for a nice, soft diffused look, and these were sparkly, just as it said on the box. It was too much shininess for me so I exchanged this for the Teint Rose, which I like very much.

Great!
-04.02.13
Quick Take: transparent, fine, fragranced, expensive
This is my first meteorites powder purchase, so I don't have any comparison, but I do like it. It's very light, so you can't tell if I have powder on my face. It takes away the greasy reflection from the suncreen, and it makes your skin looks smooth. However, I don't see why this particular meteorites powder needs to be any more expensive than Guerlain's regular ones.
No shimmer or anything. Just transparent powder. If you have that extra money to spend, go ahead. I am going to keep using mine. :-)

I returned these
-02.01.13
I am NC20ish, i just did not see them do anything to my skin. Cardboard packaging is also not nice IMO. I wish they were more illuminating or sparkly or something but they just dissipated into my skin

Guerlain does it again!
-01.25.13
4-star only because of the price. Guerlain continues to bring amazing Meteorites products. It gives nice illuminating finish without the glitter. A must for spring

Sublime!, Must have! Complexion Brightening!
-01.23.13
Quick Take: one of a kind!, makes the face glow not sparkle!, complexion brightening!
I am no novice to meteorites. I saw a swatch of this on one of my favorite beauty bloggers and new I had to have it! I was so excited I ordered 2 and I am glad I did. Please note that these pearls re JUMBO so when you look in the container you may think it's not full enough. They will last for a very long time. They give a gorgeous subtle glow and the pink/lavender/silver pearls make the face look lit from within. The container is cardboard not the usual metal. Ignote the silly puff and use a good brush and buff it in!

Interesting take on the classic
-01.18.13
This is a cool-pink toned product, better for imparting overall lifelike colour and a touch of sparkle. Its easy enough to take out the two types of perles that are sparkly and just enjoy the tint as a subtle blusher. Its also lovely on shoulders and decollete, without looking like a glittery vampire.

$70 for 15 ballz? Joke
-01.10.13
This had to be one of the worst ways to spend $70. The packaging is cardboard, the puff is cheap and you get around 15 balls. And on top of that this product is a glitter bomb. Large flakes of glitter. I was very sad that guerlian would release such a lack luster product. I returned mine.

Look your best
-01.04.13
I have been using Meteorites powder for many years. This version /shade is one of the best. Combined with the primer it is a winner.
