Weekends Just Got Easier
-05.22.13
I like anything by Urban Decay, especially the Naked line. This Beauty Balm is no exception. It does double duty as a tinted balm with SPF powers. I love it for my Saturday errands, my Sunday brunches, even those work days when light feels right.
As an added bonus, my skin is getting better from using it.

Not Invisible
-05.22.13
I too was excited about this product. I received a free sample with an order and couldn't wait to try it. I didn't mind the minty smell but the 'color' it left behind was not complimentary to my skin tone. I tried to use te UD foundation on top and it just made things worse. "Most skin tones" obviously do not count mine.

Pleasantly surprised
-05.20.13
I didn't expect much from this beauty balm, but found myself pleasantly surprised. I have rosacea and dry skin, so I always moisturize pre-makeup application. (I use embryolisse) That being said, this product felt silky smooth on my skin and did help to even out my redness. I never use a primer before foundation, but I feel that this would serve as a great one. It's not going to cover up blemishes or give flawless coverage, so if that's what you're looking for, you will be disappointed. If you just want something to help even out your skin and add a bit of radiance to your skin, this is it. I sometimes will use a powder (like mac msf) if I need some extra coverage that day and it looks perfect. Get a sample and try this out to see if its for you, you may be as pleasantly surprised as I was:)

Mattifying Beauty Balm
-05.19.13
Luckily this happens to be my exact shade, but this beauty balm smells great- kind of minty. Looks very natural if you are medium tanned olive skin toned. Dont need to set with powder. A little goes a long way. Looks natural if you apply with your fingers

Naked is the perfect name
-05.19.13
I want to wear makeup without feeling like I'm wearing makeup and this is the perfect solution. I have fair skin and freckles and am Asian/American interested to see how the "one size fits all" coloring scheme would work out but it is like magic! It spreads like silk and throughout the day it stays soft and light and never loses it's light and airy consistency. I have combination skin and I can get oily patches on my nose and forehead but haven't noticed that problem even after a full day at work and a workout. I am in love!! I bought the small size at Sephora to try but will definitely get the full-size ASAP.

Blew me away!
-05.18.13
Quick Take: velvety, lightweight
I wasn't looking for a new "base coat" makeup (I hate to use the term "foundation" because I like sheer, barely-there coverage). I've been using Laura Mercier's Tinted Moisturizer for several years and have always been really happy with it. This whole BB cream fad has passed me by completely.
That is, however, until I was at Sephora the other day. I picked this up and put some on my hand just to see what it was like. It was velvety and smooth and I picked up the travel size, mostly expecting to have to return it. This stuff totally blew my tinted moisturizer out of the water. It made my skin look even, smooth, and less red (I didn't even realize I HAD redness). I absolutely love it and fully intend on buying the full-sized product.
I think the women who are having issues with it being orange must be very light-skinned. I tan and am medium-dark and it doesn't present as orange on me at all.

Good BB Cream
-05.16.13
Quick Take: sheer good coverage
I bought the travel size of this after receiving a sample in store. I will say that for the fairer skinned folk this might be a bit orange. I am fair, but olive toned. I do not use foundation and was looking for something to give my skin some oomph when I go out. This does it, it is sheer, adds a hint of color, and when I use concealer underneath it looks pretty darn flawless. Overall very happy. Only downside, to me, is that it does have a tendency to crease just the teeniest bit and I haven't noticed any benefits like firmer skin etc.

Quick Take: the best
I have tried alot of BB creams and returned all of them I don't like anything heavy as it cause my face to break out and I also don't like anything that makes my face feel gooey when I touch it If I only have a few errands to run and don't need full blown makeup I use this with a little mascara and Im out the door. If I need full blown makeup I use it as. Primer. Its just great stuff and I'm not some spring chicken Im 65

Good for Priming
-05.14.13
I think that this Urban Decay Beauty Balm is alright. I love the texture and consistency of it but I don't like the coverage it gives. I do see how it diminishes the look of pores and lines but I don't see how I can use this product on its own.
I do use this as a primer for the skincare benefits! It works well as a primer and I will enjoy the long-term benefits it will give me in the future but I will never leave the house without some form of coverage over this beauty balm.

HOLY ORANGE!
-05.14.13
Ugh! This is the worst BB Cream yet! I've tried other "self adjusting" BB Creams that were nice... this is so orange and fake looking. I don't recommend this at all!

Au Naturale
-05.14.13
I was looking for something that had moisture, tint, and still did not feel heavy on my medium, yellow skin (dark blonde hair green eyes). Urban Decay REALLY surprised me with this product. I love the matte, light application, and my bronzer looks great over it!

Perfect BB!!
-05.14.13
Quick Take: lightweight, evens skin tone, moisturizing
I've tried a lot of BB and tinted moisturizers and this one is my favorite! It's lightweight and still gives a even toned finish. I have red toned skin and this really lightens the pink in my face. It also makes my face feel really soft, which not a lot of makeup does.

I love the way it feels on my skin, it is very lightweight and it does improve the feel of my skin. The only drawback is the color; it does mostly become translucent but it's just slightly too dark/too orange for my skin. I still use it though.

Quick Take: orange
I can't tell you how this wears because I couldn't wear it as anything but a liquid bronzer. Orange! :(

Great Product
-05.10.13
I've been using this for three weeks now. I'm very pale, and sunburn easily. I was hesitant when I received a sample, because the product looked so dark. It doesn't take a lot of product for coverage, and it blends into my pale skin tone very easily. It doesn't look fake, and it doesn't "smear" onto my cell phone like my Clinique "Even Better" foundation often does. I'm not sure about the long term skin benefits yet, but my skin looks brighter and smoother. The fine lines around my eyes are not as noticeable. I've stopped using foundation because it's no longer necessary. After my sample ran out, I bought the full size product and I will purchase it again.

Nothing at all...
-05.10.13
This BB is the best I've tried so far. It feels like you have nothing at all on your skin. I hate the feeling of most foundations and prefer just bare skin, but on days I want to look a little more "done" this is perfection.

Good stuff
-05.10.13
I almost didn't buy this because of the reviews about it being orange, but I found it to be fine and I am very fair skinned. It does look dark coming out, but it provides even and nice coverage that is very easy to apply well, without the worry of foundation-type lines.
