wanted to love this product

I wanted to love this product and I can see that it has worked wonders for other women... It made me break out. My skin is not acne prone and I tried it on three different occasions with the same result. This is honestly the first product that ever caused this type of reaction. I loved the idea of this serum..

Not for sensitive skin

Was really excited to use this but it was too harsh for my sensitive skin. I used it overnight and woke up with very red skin. It didnt stay red beyond the first day but took a few days to get back to normal.

After trying several name brand products and growing inpatient at the lack of results I decided to spend money on this. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! I absolutely love everything and my skin is smoother after only 10 days. A small amount goes a long way. I have very few wrinkles or age spots but my skin is oily. Some have complained about breakouts after using this but I have had no problems.

I am a skin care junkie and I held off trying this serum since I already have so many. When I finally ran out of one that I used pretty regularly, I decided to take the plunge. I shouldn't have waited - it is wonderful for my dry, aging skin. It is moisturizing and seems to create a barrier that keeps me hydrated all day.

I have been looking for a serum that would actually deliver and this is it! I understand some products take some time to show results, this I saw a difference within the first week. I read other people saying they're upset that it has mineral oil in it and then I read more about mineral oil and I'm not that disappointed. I love this serum it's the greatest thing I ever purchased for my face

This product is accomplishes its goal. I love it!!!! I just wish that it wasn't so expensive. I turned 49 in January of this Year and I can see a difference in the texture of my skin. But let me say also that I have normal skin. It is extremely rare that I have a pimple, my pores have always been small. I am African-American with a complexion most nearly matched to Gabrielle Union's. My skin has always healed extremely well. That said, I still applaud this product. I think it will improve the texture and complexion of any skin type. I usually don't do reviews unless the product is exceptional and this product is. Now--a note to Clarins--DO NOT INCREASE THE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT BECAUSE OF THIS REVIEW---THE PRICE IS ALREADY, TOO EXPENSIVE AND i AM A LAWYER.

I bought one for myself and one for a friend. My skin is dryer than hers but we both really like it. I rub one or two pumps between my palms and pat it on. It is visible for a minute then absorbed, not greasy. Not a miracle but I haven't found anything that is. I would have given it 5 stars but the packaging is overkill. Like may manufacturers the bottle ends up way bigger than needed to justify the price. I never check a bag when traveling so smaller packaging is a plus for me.

I was skeptical to purchase this, but I was able to get 5 samples of it so that I could use it throughout the week. I only used it at night, and I felt that I didn't need a moisturizer on top of this serum. The first week, I really didn't notice a difference. However, I went ahead and bought a bottle to continue using it to see if it would do anything for my dull skin.
I'm on my third week and I do see an improvement in my skin. It's definitely softer and brighter. But it's not like OMG you look so awesome type of difference. However, because I look at my skin everyday, I notice a difference. I am very prone to breakouts, and this actually helped my breakouts.
Happy with my purchase, but will have to continue using it to see the full effect.

I had to give my review counteract the poor reviews. I didn't feel they gave this product justice. I read the reviews after I purchased and thought oh no. But I'm glad I spent the money. This product isn't greasy if you use a small amount on your skin and wait for it to absorb. It actually evened my skin tone and made my small pimple red marks disappear quicker. My skin is smoother and clearer. Also works well on fine lines. I saw results after 2 weeks. But I do suggest to use a small amount like smaller than a dime. I can see if you use to much it will feel greasy. I would recommend this product. It's one of the few products I have seen results with.

I've been using this for a month, and I can see the difference in my skin. Pores are smaller, my face is glowing (but not oily) and less dull. I use this at night after cleansing my face and neck (and thoroughly patting the face and neck area dry). I wait about 3 minutes until the product has soaked in before applying my moisturizer. Visible difference in skin appearance and it hasn't caused any breakouts. Great product!

I can see the difference in the clarity of my skin after use. I do wish I could see the amount used from the opaque side of the bottle. I use about 2 pumps per application all over my face. It hydrates and evens out the tone nicely.

Quick Take: greasy, extremely fragrant
How disappointing! This is Clarins, and they are known for their quality products. However, this product contains at least 2 no no's: strong fragrance and mineral oil. This "serum" sits on the skin and is extremely greasy.

I used this double serum for two weeks each night after cleaning and drying my face. Pleasant enough smell, very hydrating, but my skin became more and more congested the longer I used it. This might be better for someone with drier, less acne-prone skin.
