Quick drying and nice.

Quick Take: quick drying, smooth
It seems like I've been seeing a lot of matte lately, so I thought I would try out the trend with this. It applies easily and evenly. It dried fast and I really like the feel of my nails after; it's like they FEEL matte. I think I had been hoping the effect would be a bit more dramatic. It's neat-looking, but kinda subtle. I will definitely use it again. It has a good solid home in my big bucket o' nail polishes.

Didn't matte any of my polishes

I was very disappointed in this product. I excepted to be able to tell a clear different between the matte section of my nail and the glossy section but they more or less looked the same. The only difference is the "matte" section was raised due to the extreme thickness of the polish. At first I thought I was using it wrong but I tried it with a variety of polishes and followed directions. I guess it's a good top coast though?

Quick Take: a let down, wonderful at first
I LOVE THE MATTE EFFECT. HOWEVER, AFTER A FEW HOURS OF A VERY BUSY DAY, THE TOP COAT STARTED TO WEAR OFF THE TIPS OF MY NAILS. I HAD MATTE NAIL BODIES AND GLOSSY AREAS STARTING ON THE TOPS OF EACH NAIL WHICH WAS SIMPLY THE GLOSS COMING THROUGH FROM THE NAIL POLISH.
IT WASN'T RUBBING OFF, JUST WEARING OFF QUICKLY, BECAUSE EACH NAIL HAD A DIFFERENT LOOK....EMBARRASSING. I GUESS TAKE IT WITH YOU WHEN YOU GO AND REAPPLY?

Review 5 for Ultra-Matte Top Coat

Quick Take: matte, quick-drying, perfect
This matte topcoat is everything I'd hoped for, and more! I bought it before any reviews were published, so I read reviews for some other matte topcoats to get a good idea of the standards to which I should hold this polish.
This topcoat is smooth, creamy, and dries PERFECTLY matte in one coat. It lasted for 5 days on my nails (I'm a student artist, so my nails get a lot of wear), but another coat keep this polish going for a week.
The only problems I could list are that the tips of my nails got a little shiny after a few days, and that a slightly too heavy topcoat could dry with a few white specks (which I assumed were air bubbles). All in all, the problems are preventable and slight compared to how awesome it looks.

Quick Take: fair
This is my first matte top coat purchase. I'm totally satisfied with the results, and love the look. I've tried it on a few different colors and brands of polish, and some stay more matte than others for longer periods of time. I usually put 1-2 coats on top and it lasts for about half a week before looking a little shiny. I would probably buy this again, but I would like to see other matte products and compare them to this one.

Best Matte Top Coat Ever

This is the best matte top coat I've tried. It only took one coat to achieve the results I was anticipating. Other matte top coats I've tried have taken two coats to get a really matte finish. The Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics version dried fairly quickly and lasted really well. I usually only get a couple days before I get chips in my manicure, but this lasted at least four to five days without chips. After using this, I would never buy another brand of matte top coat again.
