You requested any thoughts regarding adding anything other than water (violating manufacturer's instructions) to your DDG "Steamer Solutions." This is simply my own opinion, as I haven't purchased one yet. I think you should only add water. If you were to add any type of oil and it clogged it up, Sephora might not take it in as a "return" as you would have violated manufacture's instructions. I'd hate for you to be out $125 + tax. Just a thought...

Quick Take: easy to use
I feel like for the money, this is a good investment if you plan on using it enough. I used it for the first and only time today, right after it arrived. The steam is nice and even and fluffy, if that is a proper adjective. It says don't add anything, only water. I reallllly want to add some essential oil but am afraid of ruining it. Thoughts?

Quick Take: easy to use
I love this steamer. Like the other reviewers I immediately noticed the "glow" that it gives you. What I like best is that the steam exfoliates and opens your pores so that any product you apply afterwards is that much more effective.
It's a lot of money, but this steamer runs on distilled water. It's a one time purchase, whereas your favorite foundation or mascara is something you have to buy over and over. After one use it pays for itself. Worth it.

Quick Take: easy to use
I bought this not expecting much since it's only a steamer but boy, was I wrong. I used it at night and didn't notice anything immediately but the next morning, I washed my face and put on my make up and WOW, what a glow. It was a huge difference and I didn't even need my highlighter.
I will steam twice a week and use the Dr Gross pads 3times a week and that will give me glowing skin all week at a reduced cost. THANK YOU Dr. Gross.

I normally do not write review but after using this product I just have to! I have used it reilgiously for 2 months, my skin tone has improved and do not need to use as much moisturizer afterwards. My skin looks dewy and refreshed. Very good quailty!!!

All I can say is WoW! I debated getting this steamer due to price and having spent so much money on products to help with hormonal & cystic acne. After one use I could tell a significant difference in my skins overall appearance. After my second use, my fiancé (who also has troubled skin) was jealous and I knew he wanted to try it but didn't feel it was manly for him to do. He soon gave in and says he is impressed with how his skin looks. This is now part of my weekly routine, and I love how relaxing it is. If you are on the fence, do yourself a favor and get it. You will not regret it!!!

I have been using this steamer for about 2 months now - I wanted to give the most accurate review I could--I am completely wowed. This steamer is absolutely amazing! It leaves my skin all dewy, makes for easier extraction & allows my moisturizer to penetrate more effectively, making for a better complexion. I was using it daily, but after reading about the effects of steaming too often, I decided to cut back to 2 times a week. What a difference it has made - I highly recommend investing in this steamer.
One thing you will need to know - you need to use distilled water, DON'T USE TAP OR FILTERED WATER; it decreases the performance of the steamer.

Quick Take: easy to use, exfoliating, hydrating, moisturizing
I was so impressed with the quality of the Ferulic Acid & Retinol line from Dr. Dennis Gross the beauty junkie inside of me splurged on this product. After receiving it in the mail today I was surprised by its size, I thought it would be larger. It is about 10 inches high and fits perfectly on my night stand & bathroom sink. I read the instructions and cleansed my skin before using. I am happy to report that after my first steam usage my skin is SUPER hydrated & dewy. I followed up the steam with a sample of Dr. Gross' Alpha Beta Peel I received from Sephora and then my Ferulic & Retinol Serum followed by the F&R triple correction Eye Serum. WOW WOW WOW my skin was GLOWING afterwards. I also learned that because of the steamers unique OZONE switch this is the exact same device you would be able to have access to in an spa or derm's office!! AND THIS STEAM IS EXFOLIATING!!! I am so happy I didn't invest in a clarisonic!! This is like a clarisonic, but IT MOISTURIZES TOO!!!! Well done Dr. G...Well Done!

Spoil yourself

I wanted to spoil myself a little, so I bought this the other day. I just used it for the first time. It's great, I love it. It's easy to use.
One thing that did surprise me was how big it is. I'm not sure why but I expected it to be smaller. It's about the size of a Brita pitcher. Not huge, but like I said I was expecting it smaller.
Size aside, it works perfectly. It automatically turns off after 20 minutes so you don't over-steam. It puts out a good amount of steam (with the option to adjust it a little bit by closing a vent on the arm). The nozzle part of the arm is adjustable (it turns up or down so you can position the nozzle to shoot steam high or low, but it doesn't rotate around the body.)
I used this to open my pores up before extraction, which it did a fantastic job of. The steam experience was a lot more luxurious than I expected. It felt really good to have all that steam around my head after the dry air of winter! I really felt spoiled... in a good way :)

The steam warms and hydrates your face. Once you look at the mirror, my blackheads and whiteheads is so visible and easier for me to squeeze it out. This device is pretty amazing.
