This product got returned. Seriously, with the amount of ingredients in this, they should have made it smell better or be fragrance free. This stuff smells awful! Also, it's a very heavy night cream. You put it on & it's very sticky, gets all over the pillows, and is still left on your face when you wake up.

Great stuff!

Quick Take: lightweight, absorbs quickly
I'm on my second jar of this. I like it because it does a great job of moisturizing my face, but doesn't leave any grease on the surface. I'm in my late 50s, but my skin in not dry, just normal. I want to prevent wrinkles, but can't sleep if I feel there's a layer of Crisco sitting on my skin. This is the first moisturizer I haven't found myself wiping off before my head hits the pillow. I love it!

Another miracle from Philosophy
-06.11.13
I was happy to hear that this finally became available for night! It is creamy and smooth. I have combination skin and it nurtured my skin while I slept. There is no scent which is just an added bonus

This stuff stinks!!
-06.04.13
I received this as a sample and couldn't wait to try it. I LOVE philosophy products and had high hopes. I love the way it feels, it's rich a creamy and left my skin feeling great. However I couldn't get past the smell. It smells like wet mildewed sour towels, and that smell stays with you until it is washed off. This product would be a 10 if it weren't for the "fragrance". Definitely not a smell I want all over my face...or anywhere near me for that matter.

I really do see a difference!

Quick Take: absorbs quickly, intensive
I actually really love this night cream. That being said, it is a NIGHT cream so yes it's going to be thick, yes it's going to be heavy but it needs to soak in all night to do its thing! I put a tiny bit on each night after washing my face and by the morning my face feel soft and firm and looks wonderful. Also, I bought one of the smaller sizes and it is lasting me FOREVER. Definitely worth the money, in my opinion.

Too thick for me
-05.25.13
Quick Take: intensive
I was very excited to try this product but when I first tried it I noticed it was very thick and heavy, the kind that stretches your skin when you rub it on. I continued using it a few more times but I gave up, I don't like it.

Hated the original but love this!
-05.25.13
Quick Take: intensive
I've been using this cream for about a month now and can honestly see a BIG difference in the texture of my skin! At first, I wasn't too impressed... though I MUCH preferred the smell and texture over the original Hope In a Jar. I found this night version to be intensive, but not greasy or heavy... in my opinion much less "greasy" feeling than the original.
My initial reaction was "ew, this stuff is horribly heavy" - I have combination skin but more on the oily side... so, I usually HATE heavy creams. But like I said, it doesn't feel oily and I wake up in the morning with generally smoother looking skin. My dark circles and fine lines around my eyes are a little less noticeable. Basically, I look like I wake up every morning after a great nights sleep (which never happens lol). I use it after putting on my retinol and it totally eliminates the irritation... I love this stuff!

Not as good as the original
-05.12.13
I love the original Hope in a Jar. Thought I'd like this too. It really hasn't impressed me like I expected. It is thick and I don't notice a difference after use. Ill use this jar but won't purchase again.

Wow!
-05.11.13

This is the first time I've used this product. I'm a long time fan of anything Philosophy, especially the Hope in a Tube. It's definitely intensive, but I have such a glow after using it at night only a couple of times. It's very moisturizing, very hydrating, so as it warms up into summer, I tend to use a little bit less, to the same effect. I am in love with this product!

Philosophy has done it again!

Quick Take: intensive
I have used Hope in a Jar day, for years, and I was so excited and equally pleased with night! It is quite creamy and very moisturizing. My skin type is normal (oily T-zone at times) so I won't be using this during summer months unless for some reason my skin gets really dry. However, this is a great product and I highly recommend it for those wanting to "treat" their skin with a intensive moisturizer!

A nice treat for your skin
-05.09.13
Quick Take: absorbs quickly, intensive
This is the second jar of Hope in a jar night. It is a thick, creamy moisturizer which felt heavy on my skin for a few seconds. Once absorbed; my skin felt like silk. In the morning there was no oily or greasy feeling. It gives my skin a nice healthy glow that I have not seen in a very long time. A small amount goes a long way on my face and neck..

Too Soon To Tell
-05.08.13
Quick Take: lightweight, absorbs quickly
I have only been using this product for about a month so I feel it is too soon to see benefits. Need to allow at least three months. I don't expect miracles with this 65 yr old skin but hope to see some improvement in fine lines at least. I have noticed my skin doesn't feel as moisturized as I would like it to feel for a p.m. treatment. I have seen some flaking in the a.m. Exfoliation perhaps? Some nights I add my Origins Plantscription over top for extra moisture.
Reviews have been excellent so decided to give it a try.

I always loved the original Hope in a Jar for daytime use, except that I have combination skin, so it was only a little too oily for me. When I saw they made a night time cream, I had to try it. It's a thick formula, but it melts into my skin and doesn't feel heavy. When I wake up in the morning, my skin feels super soft and looks so bright! I'm not sure about anti-aging because I'm only in the preventative stage, but my mum also uses it and sees a major difference. You only need a little bit of product, which makes it last a long time. Overall, such a great product for overnight.

Unpleasent smell
-05.07.13
I got the sample of this and I tried it one night and the smell just turned me away from it! Before I realized the unpleasent smell was the face cream I put a little on. It was thick and felt greasy and well after the smell I washed it off.....

I received the sample of Hope in a Jar night and noticed such a difference in my skin that I had to go out and purchase it! Since it is so think, you really only need a little, so the jar should last for a long time, making it well worth the price. My skin feels amazing in the morning, and is clearer and more even looking.
