Not for sensitive skin.

Quick Take: harsh
I was thinking about buying this product, but I'm glad I went with getting it as a sample first. I have pretty sensitive skin and boy was this product not made for me. After washing and moisturizing my face, I applied this primer and immediately felt like my skin was burning off. If you have sensitive skin like me, you might want to go with something else.

I got this as a sample. I was skeptical at first since I don't do well with primers. A lot of the primers I tried just didn't do the job for me. I opened the package and read the instructions and it says to rub it between your fingers before applying. So I did. The texture of it was soo weird it was grainy and I was thinking great now I need to wash my face AGAIN. But when I let the primer set my face felt smooth like a babies bottom. I couldn't stop touching my face. My face only got oily at the end of the day because I was perspiring.

I give this product 5 Stars because this is the first primer that I have ever had that does what it claims. It really is a life saver for me. I have a very oily T Zone and no mater what foundation or primer I used with in a couple of hours my make up would shift. Now I do my make up in the morning and apply the primer in just my T Zone and it looks perfect all day long. I love love this product!

Quick Take: thick and dry
This product is thick and white ... even when put on sparingly (as all priimers are) it left a white residue and clumped. Needed to use twice the amount of foundation to cover as it is SO dry ... couldn't wash it off fast enough !!

Worst primer ever

Quick Take: sticky, disgusting, horrible
My skin gets extremely oily during the spring and summer so i decided to try a matte primer to help. This primer was comparable to disgusting. When i put it on the first time i guess i rubbed it in too much because it started peeling off my face in tiny clumps. So i decided that i shouldn't rub it in at all and just apply it quick and let it dry. Even worse. My face felt like it was so dry that if i made a facial expression my skin would get all scaly and crack. Held my makeup but my face got oily after a few hours. I hated it and returned it for another to try. Not worth it and if you buy it try it on your hand first!!!!

First off I need to say that I use other pore reducing products along with the Becca. If I use it with my other products it does work good..It does help to shrink my pores ( use this first) it does make your face very dry. I use Sephora primer ( oil free) as part of my skincare and it does keep the forehead from getting oily . I will purchase the Becca priming perfector again. I have used pore reducing products from Sephora that cost $75.00 and did nothing! I think for $36.00 it is a bargain & it does help :)

This primer is absolutely fabulous. It makes my makeup look so matte, and by the end of the day I'm not wearing my blush on my chin lol. All of my makeup stays so intact. I reccomend this for anyone who has combination skin, especially an oily T zone. Worth the money.

This is one of the best primers I've ever used. I get SO oily during the day, and I have absolute NO OIL when I use this primer.
If you have oily skin, read this!
This primer + clinique's stay matte oil free make up = HEAVEN. No oil what so ever!
Definitely going to repurchase this!
It is a bit pricey though.

I am in LOVE with this product! I always found my makeup becoming so shiny and splotchy looking after a few hours. Working in a restaurant does not help the problem. But as soon as I put this on I knew it was going to work!! I could feel it sucking all the oil out of my face as I rubbed it In!! My makeup goes all day with no shine!!!!

I was hesitant to buy this product because I had never heard of this brand, but fortunately I'm glad I bought it because it took care of my oily t-zone. Living in Miami with its humidity it is very hard to maintain your makeup nice and fresh but with becca's primer this is possible. I no longer had a oily forehead or large pores :) ! And my makeup lasted all day as if I had just done it.

Primers are something I usually stay away from. I stick to a B.B Cream for a primer now a days. But I have combo skin, so my makeup moves around by the end of the day and I hate it! But this guy is AMAZING. It really works. I just put it on my skin where I am most oily and blend it, then apply a foundation everywhere else. ITs bomb!

Made my skin feel really sticky

Quick Take: lightweight
This primer did so well controlling the oil on my skin but it also made it feel so sticky. I'm not sure if this has happened to others, but I couldn't stand the feeling and had to return it. If you're able to withstand the stickiness then this primer is for you. It did wonderful controlling oil and shine.

I used to use lacome, smashbox and other different products before but didn't work well with my oily skin. I was hesitant to buy this product due to the reviews but thought I give it a try since I could return it if I wasn't satisfied. When I first tried it on, it felt like I was applying glue to my face and the product does dry up quick making my skin feel like its tightening but after couple use of the product you get used to it. When I work full shift (12hrs) I didn't get oily instead stayed matte. I love this product which works for my skin.

my skin is very oily && i was hoping it would work for me but it makes my skin burn for 10 seconds and then it dries and leaves marks as if i was drooling all over (even though i put foundation i dont like that) and after my skin it stilllll oily an hr later i am returning sorrryyy

On my in-store trial this product appeared to be magic for my oily skin. However after making the purchase and subsequent use I found that after a short time my skin was back to being as oily as it was before using the product. Very disappointed.

I have a super oily T-zone. This does a great job at mattifying my face... But after 5-6 hours the oils on my forehead come through just slightly. This is one of the best primers I came across overall... will purchase again.

Recommended by associate for oily skin. Tried twice and it was so dry feeling and makeup would not go on smooth at all. Had to wash face and start all over again. Return was easy at the store and got my money back..5 stars for store!
