I am a fan of Bite and swatched the pastille lavender whilie looking at other shades. I had seen it before, but this collection seemed so bright and not for me. Surprise to me, I found a gorgeous bright summery pink lipstick that I can pull of with my fair skin. It is a violet pink which makes it more flattering and I get tons of compliments on it. The formula, like other Bite products, is wonderful, and I think this one wears a little better than the Luminous Shine lipstick. Also, it really isn't matte, so don't let that fool you. Not drying at all. More of a satin finish maybe.

First red lipstick I actually like

Quick Take: long wearing, intense
Ive always had trouble finding the right red for me and this one is it. It looks so nice with my skin and eye color and it lasts AGES. I eat with this on and everything and only have to touch up the inner part of my lip. I have also passed out with this on and woke up with it still intact. Super long lasting and worth every penny.

it is what it says... a creamy matte.....and to my surprise it stays on & no bleeding.....whenever i hear the words creamy mixed with matte it makes me wonder....i like mattes for the reason they usually have good staying power & dont bleed & are not super shiny....this formula has just the right amount of creaminess but after lipstick sets in on your lips its matte..........wish there were more colors.........and BTW LOVE the bright colors offered :)

Wow. Im not usually a lipstick girl but ever since i purchased Bite Beauty lipstick in Pastille Violet, i am having trouble staying away from this company. The color is bright and contrasts perfectly with my green eyes and black hair. This lipstick really "pops" given its strong color, minor iridescent pickup, and its long lasting wear. I put it on in the morning and by 6pm its only a little rubbed off (including eating and drinking). It has a creamy consistency and a classy matte finish. i couldn't ask for more in a lip color.

I tried this color on one of the times I was browsing at a Sephora store. I really liked the fun color and though it said it was matte it was really creamy and moisturizing. The color is long lasting. I was debating between this and the Buxom Swinger lippy and this won me over.
Sephora PLEASE, PLEASE have them on stock on ALL Sephora stores! (I was told the Pasadena and Santa Monica branches has these)

I am so impressed with this food-grade lipstick. I was looking for a specific color and found it in this brand (pastille lilac). It goes on smooth and is definitely long lasting. I have gotten many compliments on it so far.

This is so great! I tried this on in the store before work and by the time my shift was over I was running back to pick this up! The color is great, slides on easily and is very pigmented! It did dry out a little bit within 2 hours but the color stayed strong and I just threw some sheer balm over it. Worked like a charm and looked amazing. Not so bright that it's unwearable but it'll definitely get you noticed!

I got the lilac. I normally don't wear lipstick since my lips have a lot of red coloring naturally. This high pigment pink actually covers the natural color and gives me a bright fuscia color. I love it! It is very pretty and a little goes a long way.

I purchased the pastille lavender color. This lipstick is listed as a highly pigmented matte-cream formula. Maybe it is just this color, coloring it is a sheer cream, with average pigment. Also, I tend to be sensitive to many lipstick formulas, and this one is uncomfortable - might be the reservatrol because the rest of the ingredients are high quality. Bottom line: quality product, but not matte and not highly pigmented, and it was slightly irritating. The other colors might be richer in pigment.

I purchased Pastille Lavender and I love it! The product is great for my sensitive lips and the color is awesome on my med skin tone. It's fun and bright but I don't feel ridiculous wearing it around day/night as a young professional woman in the engineering industry. It sort of acts like a summery neutral and doesn't draw a lot of attention a like Nikki Minaj's colors. I think anyone of any age could wear this.
It might look way brighter or noticeable on someone of fair coloring. Not long wearing but very easy to apply and highly pigmented.

I love this lipstick. I wanted something for spring and I thought this was such a nice pretty pop of color! It glides on so smoothly and is so moisturizing for a lipstick. I like the fact that it's pretty close to being a matte lipstick but the texture is completely different! Can't wait to pick up more colors :)

If you want to have stand-out lips that make you look super sophisticated you MUST get this Matte Creme Lipstick in Pastille Rosebud!! Super pigmented, does not dry out my lips, I always get compliments when I wear it. Such a fun, high fashion color!! The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because it costs 24 bucks.

This is my new favorite lipstick! I had previously tried rosebud, which I disliked because it was far too bright on me, but took a chance and ordered the pastille lavender since people seemed to rave about it--and they were right! Now I am not the sort to try any crazy colors when it comes to lipstick, so I was really skeptical that I would like it, but I LOVE it! It is my new favorite go-to lipstick. It doesn't go on purple, it gives the perfect blush to my lips. If I layer it on a little more, the purple comes out a bit, but not so much that I can't wear it to work. It is the ideal spring color--I highly recommend you try it! If it wasn't sold out on here right now, I'd be ordering another one. It's creamy and long lasting. I absolutely adore it!
