Quick Take: generic
Do not buy this perfume if you are used to more high end perfumes, you will be really disappointed. I would say this is best fit for a teenager. The scent is pretty, but it's very generic. I really wanted to like this, the description of the notes sounded so pretty. It doesn't translate well in person, on your skin, or on paper. It doesn't stay long on the skin either, about 2 hours, where most perfumes I have last at least 4 hours. May be worth it for $20, definitely not almost $60. Also, the bottle looks cute but it's cheaply made. The cap was loose on mine. I expected more, I would've gladly paid more for a sophisticated fragrance in a nicer bottle. Sephora needs to step up it's game for the next princess inspired fragrance!

Quick Take: floral, gardenia, white floral
So I was expecting a more spicy scent for Princess Jasmine, and originally in the bottle it does smell kind of spicy, warm and floral with a hint of sweetness. It was really nice
I might as well just have rubbed a gardenia all over myself because thats what it smelled like about 5 minutes after I tried it out in the store.
It smells similar to Kim Kardashians perfume but not revolting like hers was. Hers was NOTHING but white floral-- this one pretends to be much much more but then just turns into a heavy white floral...
I was quite disappointed

Quick Take: good value
LOVE this perfume! Beautiful scent, lovely bottle, lovely packaging. Nice scent for anyone looking for something very delicate and feminine.
The only complaint I have is that the scent is SO light that it does not have very much staying power. Must reapply after juust a couple of hours. :(

Love This One: A New Favorite Scent

Quick Take: smells amazing
I bought this online without smelling it and was a little worried whether i would like it or not... but I am absolutely in love. It has such a lovely soft warm scent. You can definitely smell the jasmine in this one, fittingly. Definitely has become a favorite.

La La LOVE this. Gardenia is a beautiful tone. I have the Cinderella one too... I hope Disney and Sephora make one for each Princess... Ariel or Snow White next please :)

This fragrance is wonderful! Very light but strong enough to stay on you for hours. Smells like Gardenia. Reminds me of Kim Kardashian perfume(her very first one). I have gotten so many compliments from this smell. Highly recommended!

favorite movie, but a little disappointed

I'll start off by saying that my review may be full of bias.
I am not really into fragrance/perfume. I have my favorites and stick to them. I don't buy scented lotions unless I love it. The two perfumes I've previously owned smell very similar to each other (YSL Babydoll and Stella McCartney). I actually really like "So This Is Love" from the Cinderella collection, and may be more musky than those other two.
I like clean, sweet, floral scents. This Jasmine perfume is NOT like that. I describe it as quite the opposite of my personal taste. I do not into musky, woody, spicy fragrances. I agree with the other reviews that say it is an appropriate interpretation of what Princess Jasmine and Agrabah would smell like. And because Aladdin and "A Whole New World" are at the top of my favorites list, I was just disappointed that this perfume doesn't tickle my fancy. (Kind of like the hype of the first Kim Kardashian perfume - didn't like it. But if you did like that perfume, i feel like this one is similar).
and lastly - I know it is probably most economical that these Disney Collection perfumes come in the same shaped bottle, but i wish this were more Jasmine like! I honestly thought that the Cinderella perfume was purposely shaped like a pumpkin, so I was looking forward to what shape Jasmine's bottle would be.

Musky scents do well for me but this one is incredible. Reminds me of the Allure perfume and Bath and Body Moonlight Path, but not too soapy smelling. I have a feeling my picky hubby will be loving this. Incredibly feminine.

Quick Take: long lasting, strong
They captured all the scents that I believe you would smell walking through an arabian palace, very seductive, exotic, and powerful. However, it is a perfume that is more for the older woman (i.e my aunt wears a perfume that smells A LOT like this one!)
But when it dries down after a couple hours, it reminds me EXACTLY of how Jasmine would smell! A bit lighter, more girly, but still exotic and something I can't get enough of. Wish they had a less intense/more girly version of this I'd snatch that up!

I fell in love with this perfume, smells sooo amazing!!! Even my husband loves the smell of it! It's good to wear day or night. I love princess jasmine (one of my fav Disney princess) the bottle is super girly and pink which I love :)

Quick Take: reusable, good value, travel-friendly
I thought this smelled what jasmine would have smelled like. Floral yet spicy in a really lovely way. One spritz is all you need, I could still smell this one heavily even though I sprayed my wrist as far away from the bottle as I could. Gorgeous!

I am very sad that this is limited edition, or it would be my new signature! I love the scent, it's a lightly spicy, yet sweet carnation with a hint of gardenia, and it's strong enough that it lasts about 24 hours with one spray (was still smelling it the next morning on myself), and yet, despite the strength of the smell, it did not cause any headaches! This makes me think of what the palace gardens must smell like with the birds chirping and the fountain burbling, the market place just beyond. A lovely scent!

Aladdin is one of my favorite Disney movies, and I love Jasmine's spunky spirit. One of my favorite all-time experiences is the smell of Agrabah in the WDW attraction Philarmagic -- it evokes the spiciness of the bazaar that they fly through on the carpet. I was expecting something more spicy and exotic. I like this *ok* but I definitely don't love it. It smells drug-store-ish to me; if it weren't the Jasmine brand I wouldn't buy it at all. Someone else commented that it smells like fancy hand soap, and I think that is an adequate description. I am keeping it b/c my daughter likes it, too. The coloring on the packaging isn't rich and sensual and exotic like Agrabah, either. Just b/c it's "princess" doesn't mean it has to be frilly. Jasmine is adventurous, bold, and edgy-- this is definitely NOT. I think Sephora fell short on this one; am hoping for something better with the next princess they interpret.

I'm not going to lie, a big part of the appeal of this fragrance is Sephora's pairing with Disney to do a Princess collection and the anticipation of each Princess launch and seeing how the creators will depict and translate each princess into cosmetics and fragrance.
With that being said, I was very curious and anxious to try the fragrance more than anything in the collection as I'm in no shortage for make up. The description of the fragrance is very alluring, but after trying it in stores, I've decided it's not really to my tastes.
The fragrance itself turned very strong and very powerful, almost to the point of overwhelming. The plus side is that I know if I ever wanted to snag a fragrance with long lasting notes, this would be it, but in my opinion it just got too strong for me. I didn't really get the orange blossom or mandarin notes, but it just skipped ahead to the musky accord, sandalwood, cedarwood, and amber, which also all just amplified the gardenia. It became a very deep, woody floral on me and almost gave me the impression of it being more of a "mature" or "aged" scent on me.
The bottle is adorable though, it and the Cinderella bottles remind me of a more girly, youthful take on the Tocca bottles. I wish this scent worked with my body chemistry better.

Quick Take: beautifully packaged
I went into Sephora today and noticed the Princess Jasmine Collection setup and fell in love. Aladdin is absolute favorite Disney movie ever so I couldn't resist buying the perfume and I wasn't disappointed. It's sultry and yet girly and floral tied together perfectly without being overpowering. LOVE LOVE LOVE

I would classify this perfume as one of those floral scents that is not for the faint-of-heart. I think that the perfume artists did a good job of capturing Jasmine's "bold spirit" in this because it is a girly floral, but it also kind of adventurous and exotic. I imagine it probably smells really different depending on your body chemistry, because this smells TOTALLY different on me than it did when I sprayed the paper test strip (personally, I think it smells a lot better on me). You really need the right personality to wear this because it is pretty strong, not meant for everyone.

I bought this because Jasmine is my favorite official Disney princess (along with Ariel). Sadly, I'm not very impressed with this fragrance. It's too floral and it reminds me of fancy handsoap. This was a blind buy and I've returned it.
