Quick Take: matte, dry, color intense, wasted my money
This lipstick is dry going on and the color is very intense. Not as nice as Bobbi BRown plain creamy lipstick. I will probably throw this away.

I was very disappointed in this lipstick. I read all the reviews about how creamy it felt and did not dry out your lips. I could barely apply it because it was so dry. It felt cakey (spelling?) on, and I automatically took it off. Then I packed it up and sent it back. I would love to find a super nice orange, red long-lasting creamy lipstick! This is not it!

Quick Take: creamy, moisturizing, bold
If you need a really bold color that stays put for 6 hours, this is it. My favorite is valencia orange, next true pink. I do like Calypso but not really for day time. These wont dry out your lips, and even if you ended up putting a little gloss on top, the color stays. May have to reapply after a meal but your lips will have a tint and wont look completely washed out after a meal.

Quick Take: bold color, long lasting
It is a lovely lipstick. Stays on well, nice matte finish. Unfortunately the color I chose was not what I was looking for. I bought True Pink. I thought it would be a bit more subtle. I'm fair skinned and it's PINK! Just know these are bold colored lipsticks. Would have be great when I was in my 20's .

Perfect color, perfect texture. I had given up on mattes, but the wearability of this lipstick changed my mind. I have dry skin, lips, etc. This is the first matte I could wear w/o constant balm application.
The color is the most wearable ( day & night) red I have ever had. Looks fabulous even under artificial office lights.
Will always have to have on hand.

I purchased this lip color in Red Carpet and I really like it. It is creamy and not drying at all. I must add I used a lip stain on top to make the color brighter.

Quick Take: good in theory but not in practice.
Did not like the way this lipstick felt on my lips. I wanted to love it, and it felt great for the few minutes I was in the store sampling it. However, the longer I wore it, the more it chipped, bled, and just looked crackly on my lips. I love the concept, and it would be great if indeed there were a matte lipstick that would feel creamy, but I guess it's too good to be true. Feels great at first, but definitely give it some time before you decide you want it. Keep it on all day then see how you feel.
