Quick Take: great, a hair saver
It sounds ridiculous to pay $15 for a shower cap, but this is like no other shower cap I've tried! It definitely prolongs the life of my blowout... with regular shower caps no matter how I put up my hair the humidity from the shower would coax out my naturally curly/frizzy hair and change the style. It was a bit tight at first (especially since I use a claw/hair clip to put up my hair inside the cap), but I've gotten used to it. It's not headache-inducing tight to me, just tight enough to keep moisture OUT. Honestly to me this is a small price to pay for what it does--extend the life of my blowout!

Shower caps are nothing glamorous, but this one is a little more fun and also has a great design. I am still trying to master keeping a style without washing my hair every day but I think this product will help me along that journey.

i hate washing my hair every day (for hair health reasons) but also hate how oily it looks after i shower on the days that i don't wash it (i put it up in a bun on top of my head). I bought this on a whim to see if it would help, and it does! I still use a dry shampoo on my non-hair washing days, but this has made a BIG difference in how good my hair looks on the 'off' days. I was using disposable shower caps and the difference is amazing. it's pretty snug so it leaves a mark around my forehead, but it fades quickly so not a big deal.

I wanted to love this but I'm afraid I just kinda
like it. It's roomy and stays on well, and when you put it on your head dry, it keeps moisture out. That, however, only happened the first time I wore it, because its been damp ever since. Boo.

Best shower cap ever! Def worth the 15 bucks. Instead of only spending a few dollars and being disappointed, I'm very happy I splurged on this. It keeps the water out.

Quick Take: worth the money
I have waist length, thick, semi-wavy hair that does not fit in the vast majority of shower caps. I wrap my hair in a bun on the top of my head and it all fits nicely inside this cap. The band is a bit tight (but not uncomfortably so) and leaves a mark on your forehead if you leave it on for more than 10 mins. My hair line stays completely dry and no moisture seeps in, preventing frizz. I take very good care of my hair (no chemicals, no dying, no heat tools, no styling products) because I'm going to donate it soon, so I try not to wash it more than once every 3 days. The shower cap is definitely helping me keep my hair healthy. Without it, the heat and moisture from the shower would make me have to wash my hair much more often. I used to use the flimsy clear plastic caps that you get at hotels, but those never worked. This cap is worth the money.

Great if you straighten curly hair

I will say there is a bit of a learning curve. Living in a humid climate, when I straighten my hair, I need all the help I can get. If it get's water on it, Its frizzy! So, I was on the fence about buying this. I went ahead one day and am glad I did. It does fit snug. I have a lot of hair. As long as I have it all covered, it works great! Whatever they treat the material with works to keep the moisture out. My hair was not compromised in the least bit. As for letting it dry, Hang it on some kind of hook to let it dry, it will be dry in 24 hrs.

Band is way too tight and made of bunched up terry cloth that not only is hard and uncomfortable, but gets sopping wet in the shower. Not a good shower cap all in all. Was returned.

This shower cap gets the job done! If you take showers and want to keep your hair dry this is the cap for you.
It's super snug but in a good way. I have never seen a shower cap that was this thick. Forget about the thin plastic disposables ones you get at hotels. The terry cloth is great and keeps the cap very comfy.
The cap is snug around your head but not too tight. I have very thick hair that is a few inches longer than my shoulders and it all fits under the cap without it feeling like it's too much.
I would absolutely recommend this cap to others.

Quick Take: a very bad purchase
This cap has an elastic band around the bottom to keep the cap tight to your head. The fabric that encloses the elastic wicks water like crazy and takes at least 2 days to thoroughly dry.

I don't wash my hair every day, and have typically been using a thin plastic shower cap (disposable types) and the water still leaks in and gets my hair wet. Plus, my boyfriend laughs at me every time I wear it! I was so excited to see that Sephora was carrying Dry Bar and that they had a shower cap! It's cute and made of very think material w/ cotton inside. Long lasting! Just be careful if you spray tan or have makeup on because it will stain. Better to wash your face before hand to keep this in good condition, even though you can hand wash this. PERFECT creation!!!

The terry cloth does better insulate your hair from shower steam & water than the basic shower cap. The edge has good elastic to hold the cap on firmly. My respectably full hair fits under this cap. I'm still wearing a cloth band at my hair line for washing my face.

As someone who has colored hair that is fine and a bit damage prone, I normally can go three days without a shampoo. But a shower? Well, that's a different story! I was tired of having to re-dry my hair or try to duck out of the way. I started stashing away hotel freebie shower caps, which never kept the water out.
This is different. First, it's pretty well designed. It's soft inside and has enough elastic to really cling to your head and neck without letting water in. It dries fast and seems like if I ever need to clean the cap, it should be a cinch.
The best thing I can say about this cap, and what inspired me to a write a review is this: last week I forgot I had it on and leaned over straight into the shower stream. Not a wet hair on my head! Guys, this really works well.
