Smells good but turns your hair into straw

Quick Take: awful
I didn't realize my hair could literally feel like straw until i used this. Perhaps it would be good for someone with oily hair but I have blonde hair that is sort of dry and it felt awful after using this. I wish there were a way to get a refund :( I do love other DryBar products just not the shampoo/conditioner.

Quick Take: drying, strips hair
Great scent and lather, however, the shampoo left my hair feeling like straw. I am a natural blond with some highlights and my hair is in very good condition but felt terrible after shampooing. I had a terrible time detangling my hair even after using their conditioner. I had high hope and used the products for a full week but returned both the shampoo and conditioner.

My teenage daughter and I are both addicted to Drybar shampoo and conditioner. We love this stuff. It makes our hair so clean and light, and it styles beautifully - every day. No more bad hair days. We can also go longer between shampoos if necessary because it gets our hair so completely clean (without drying). Love, love, love - except the price. It's extremely expensive in my opinion :(

Way to drying for highlighted hair

This was the most drying shampoo I've ever used. I have blonde highlighted hair that's dry but in good condition. I used the conditioner right after and after rinsing could hardly run a comb through it. Returning the set ! I love the dryer and the other styling products though especially the smoothing cream.

Initially when I bought this shampoo thought it would be an "ok" product but I must say this shampoo and conditioner is AMAZING!!! I will never buy cheap shampoo EVER again!!! It is pricy but so worth it!!!

This works as stated and helps me get a smooth blowout but the fragrance is very strong. The bottles seem so small but it does have 8.5 oz in it. Will continue to use but not sure about reordering.

I was wow-ed the first time I used a sample of this shampoo. So was my teen daughter. We love this shampoo (and the conditioner) and though it's a little pricey, a little goes a long way. It's worth it to us - it makes our hair feel better than anything else we've tried, cheap and expensive, and it's light weight. It gets our hair super clean and leaves it shiny and light, too. We think this is an amazing duo.

Quick Take: good for daily use
cleans and leaves hair feeling quite soft and healthy without overdrying, but like others have mentioned, it leaves my hair a bit flat (i have very long and straight "asian" hair). also, the fragrance is borderline obnoxious. i don't mind strong-smelling hair products much at all, but this one is a bit too much. taking the price into consideration, i won't be buying again.

I received the free single use sample of this shampoo and matching conditioner. Honestly, I only had to use a little bit of the shampoo and it was enough so I have enough left for another use. It really did clean my hair and scalp like none other. My hair felt silky smooth for so many days after! The only thing I did not like about this is even though it got rid of the build up, it left my roots with no lift, probably flatter than had I air dried it! (I always blow dry my hair with volumizing mousse after washing) I have fine, straight hair, and volume especially at the crown is hard to come by. It seemed like no matter what I did to style my hair with volume at the roots and crown, it just did not want to stay. I was left with flat hair! I would assume it's because I no longer had all the product in my hair that could have been helping it stick to a style, but you would think clean hair with a fresh dab of mousse would do the trick. However, second day hair with this shampoo is best! I would NOT use this every day, just when I need to get rid of product build up.

Of all of the Drybar products, the shampoo is the star. Made my dry, fine , color treated hair fluffy, bouncy, soft and easy to blow dry. I still used other styling products for shine and extra smoothness, but I needed less product than usual as this shampoo left my hair so volumized and silky.

I got this as a sample and instantly fell in love with it! I have very fine hair and found it is perfect for me. It does leave your hair weightless, I feel like I just left the salon, and the scent is wonderful. I don't think it works that well for people with thicker hair (and a lot of it), my sister wasn't such a fan. I also wouldn't use it every day, probably just on weekends since it does leave my hair a bit dry if I use it too often.

This shampoo has changed my whole entire point of view of my hair. I have fine, curly/wavy, auburn hair, but I have a lot of it. I have super sensitive skin and that includes my scalp.
This is the first shampoo I have ever used that did everything I always wanted a shampoo to do. Other shampoos left my hairline oily a couple hours after washing, gave me a horribly itchy scalp that flaked, or weighed down my hair so I could get the waves to cooperate air-dried or blow-dried. Now, I have soft, bouncy, hair that blow dries in half the time and still holds the waves when dried with a round brush.
I have only used this shampoo with the Happy Hour Weightless Conditioner and I love the combination! I have finally found a shampoo and conditioner that are absolutely worth every penny - if not more. Bonus: it smells great and makes my hair super shiny!

Got this as a sample in a previous online order, did not expect to love this product. Fist off, the scent is AMAZING! Hands down the best scent in a hair line I've encountered. The scent remained in the hair even after wash, condition, blow dry and flat iron! This shampoo & conditioner left my coarse, thick hair weightless, and shiny! I literally cant express the amazing results! I have tons of fluffy volume and my hair feels bouncy and healthy! My NEW go-to products!

I received a sample of this shampoo & conditioner recently. Although the scent is a little manly, I don't mind because it reminds me of spices or mint and the smell turns into a more neutral scent after drying. My hair has never felt cleaner or more bouncy! I have chin-length hair that often does not have any volume at the roots (but still have volume at the bottom). I have gotten so many compliments on my hair today because it looks clean, healthy, and has consistent volume throughout!

a trail size packet of the shampoo and conditioner came with a previous order. the conditioner was less than weightless as my hair seemed flat and lifeless the whole night. the shampoo seemed mediocre and tough to lather. overall, i was excited about using it and ended up with ugly hair for my friends wedding.

I didn't care for this shampoo. I used a quarter size and really had to work to get a little lather. It left my hair feeling hard, tangled and my scalp itched. The conditioner got rid of the tangles a little but I still had a tough time brushing while drying it. My hair is fine and soft by nature, this was not something I wanted to deal with. I returned them both plus the styling cream that seemed worthless. Also, the bottles are so small for the price, I don't think it would have lasted me two weeks.
