Quick Take: ideal for short brushes
I kinda dislike Hello Kitty cos Its just too girly, something for teenagers. But this cup just looks cute and elegant on my dressing table. Ive been forever searching for a brush holder that is short so my smaller brushed won't get lost in with the big brushes but fat enough to hold all my short brushes. This one could not be more perfect, looks very adorable next to my Anna Sui brush cup which looks similar but taller. So if you think this one is too short then check out the Anna Sui brush cup.

Finally - For Grownup Hello Kitty Lovers

Quick Take: sleek, mature, high quality, pretty, functional
Purchased 2 of them - one for my desk at work and one for my nightstand at home. Will use them to hold little trinkets like rings and earrings bedside and to hold my cell phone (great idea by previous reviewer) at my desk at work. Love the fact that kitty is shiny and black; elevates it to look a little more expensive. I prefer to purchase the brown/tan or black hello kitty versions of HK items. This item loses one star because the lining is lifted a little in the back of the cup - no big deal as it doesn't take away from the functionality or the cute factor.

Too cute! Good depth so it doesn't swallow your brushes. Easy to clean and display your brushes. Wish it would've come in more Tokyo Pop colors...

I actually use this as a cellphone holder on my desk at work. It holds both my personal iPhone 4s and work iPhone 5 with some extra room for business cards and what have you. It's super cute, and heavy enough that you could put all kinds of stuff in it without it falling over. I love it!

i like this cup because i can put my shorter/travel brushes inside and won't get lost...also great for eye pencils that are shorter in length. i took off one star because i think it is overpriced for a cup. i have a white hello kitty cup that was sold as a drinking cup that is the same size, but one can never have too many cups

Item is to die for, bow is so soft, the item isnt that big, but holds a lot of my eyeliners and brushes,. Feels like glass, even though I think they say it's plastic. However if I were to drop it, it would break. The bow looks red though, not pink, but highly recommended, to anyone that missed out on the Mac ones
