Unbelievable
-05.20.13
Quick Take: strengthening, doesn't weigh hair down, rich
For the past fifteen months I have tried to treat a scalp condition with every remedy known. As a result my hair felt like straw and looked as bad. I was ready to cut it as short as possible. Then I tried WEN.. The texture of my hair changed with the first use. It felt like silk, This week I plan to get the other WEN products. I hope I never have to use any other product.

Quick Take: strengthening, doesn't weigh hair down, moisturizing, refreshing scent
I have been using this for about 3 years and I absolutely love it. I have different curl types in my hair and I have struggled with many products in the past. I have tried value priced products and 100$ products and this is the best. They say you get what you pay for and the quality of the ingredients in this product is worth every penny. I do have extremely dry hair so I sometimes add a little jojoba oil to this for a leave-in condt. No other product compares.

WILL MAKE YOUR HAIR FALL OUT!
-05.19.13
Quick Take: will make your hair fall out
I never review products but as soon as I saw that Sephora began carrying Wen I just had to share my experience. DO NOT BUY! DO NOT USE! WILL MAKE YOUR HAIR FALL OUT! I used Wen all of last summer, probably four months or so. Yes, hair is soft, blablabla. But, I started noticing huge amounts of hair coming out in the shower. It got to a point where I actually counted the strands everytime I showered- 30 to 40- consistently. Not to mention that my drain was FULL of hair. I then began reading more into people's experiences with the product and realized what the problem probably was. Wen creates a waxy build up on your scalp, in essence suffocating your follicles; there is no longer a healthy environment on your scalp, hence your hair falls out. Shampoo is SUPPOSED to have a detergent effect in order to clean. Otherwise, you end up with all of that build up that causes your hair to fall out. I regret having wasted so much money (you need to use over 10 pumps per wash or more), time, and compromising the health of my hair on this scam of a product. I strongly urge everyone NOT to use this product. You will regret it. You can find gentle alternatives to regular shampoo without throwing your money away on this harmful sham of a product.

Love my Wen!
-05.16.13
Quick Take: strengthening, doesn't weigh hair down, rich
I love Wen. I've been using it for almost 3 years and love the results. You have to make sure to use it properly though otherwise your hair won't get properly/thoroughly clean nor conditioned. You have to use the full amount of pumps for your hair length (NEVER skimp!) and cleanse 2x (split the total # of pumps in half and use the first half for your first cleanse and the second half for your second cleanse. the first cleanse cleans your hair, the second cleanse conditions your hair). the most common newbie mistake is not using enough cleansing conditioner which can result in your hair feeling/looking dirty/oily, so using enough is extremely important (just remember that you have to use enough that your hair feels nice and creamy, not just barely covered). another important thing is to thoroughly rinse before and after each cleanse to fully rinse the Wen out. another tip is to after cleansing add 1 pump back in as a leave in conditioner (pea size for short hair, dime size for medium length, nickel size long length. also make sure to use the styling creme as it protects hair from heat damage as well as environmental damage (using heat - ie. blow dryers, curling/flat iron - without using styling creme undoes all the good Wen does if you're not protecting your hair). i would also strongly recommend using the Remoist at least once a week to help keep your hair healthy.

Love it!
-05.14.13
My highlighted hair had been extremely dry lately. I went to a beauty supply store and tried many expensive conditioners that did nothing. I knew about Wen but hadn't tried it, I was pretty desperate my hair was in bad shape. I went to Sephora and bought to Fig wen. The salesman told wash my hair with it twice for best results. The first time time I used it i was hooked , my hair finally felt soft and looked healthy. I love it and will continue to buy it!

Jury's still out
-05.14.13
Quick Take: doesn't weigh hair down, strengthening, rich
I have long, thick, fine, oily on top dry on bottom, slighly naturally frizzy but also heat-and-chemical damaged blonde hair...whew! I've been using this for about a week and a half and it works pretty well, even with my oiliness/dryness issues. However, the smell is kind of weird and I do think there is a residue building up on my hair. I just had to use regular shampoo today to make it less limp and greasy. That being said, my frizziness is a lot better. So I might take this version back and get one of the other scents that people seem to think is lighter and less greasy. Still, I was pretty surprised that this worked as well as it did.

I have super fine, highlighted hair and I love the fig. I have to cleanse and blow dry daily and this formula does a great job of replenishing moisture to my hair.

Awesomeness
-05.14.13
I was a little skeptical at 1st but this product is awesome!! I have fairly thin, wavy hair and my son who is mixed has a tightly curled afro and it works wonders for both of our hair types. I don't miss the lather at all and my hair always looks full, bouncy and shiny now. I dont love the smell (kind of minty) but i would highly recommend Wen's cleansing conditioner for all hair types!!

Smells like old pizza
-05.13.13
I love the concept, and the results achieved, with Wen Sweet Almond Mint (which smells like fresh rosemary for some reason.) I love figs, and couldn't wait to experience that fragrance in the shower. Wen Fig smells very strongly of old pizza...couldn't get it out of my hair soon enough! Must say the same for Wen Cucumber and Aloe which smells like burnt plastic dipped in motor oil. Had a couple of friends test my theory and they agree. Am returning the Fig and the Cucumber Aloe...stocking up on the Sweet Almond Mint.

Wen Fig Cleansing Conditioner
-05.12.13
First off , I believe this product would work best on course, thick hair . I have American Indian hair and it does work wonders on my hair . Secondly , I do not need to cleanse my hair everyday like I used to because of the thick hair I have . Thirdly , I can use this as a body cleanser and a facial cleanser also . My only problem and the reason I gave it A 4 star is that it requires so much to get the affect necessary . Therefore , because of the amount needed and the price regardless of the affects I get , I won't purchase again . I cannot justify 32.00 when it will not even last a month .

Better than other hair washing options; fig so-so
-05.10.13
Quick Take: doesn't weigh hair down
I like wen's cleansing conditioners in general. I have to say the least offensive smell is the mint-almond, which is really more like just mint and reminds me of aveda's signature shampoo in smell a bit.
I find that this is a simpler, quicker solution to what I used to have as a no-shampoo routine involving baking soda (which strips my red hair dye terribly) and apple cider vinegar/tea.. It does leave my hair light and full of volume and not too dehydrated. I use it every 3-4 days, and rinse my hair throughly without any cleansing or conditioning product most days in between, scrubbing the scalp well with hot water. Prior to finding wen, I used purology every 4-5 days and b&b prep after each hot water rinse in between. I think my hair looks nicer when using wen with a little more frequency vs what I was doing before. I think you could compliment this if you have any tendancy towards dry hair with a nice hair oil on the ends while damp.

This stuff is amazing

Quick Take: strengthening, doesn't weigh hair down, rich
I love this stuff, I have think think hair... Enough for a few people literally. I live in a dry climate plus I am very sensitive to shampoos. This stuff cleans and conditions so nice and it's so light weight. I only wash my hair 2x a week bc you do use a lot of product but its worth it.

Oily flat hair.

Wen smelled great and really moisturizer I bought this after bad luck with cucumber aloe but still had really oily and greasy hair. Nothing worked washed and rinsed exactly as the directions said and still bad. No tangles but still flat and greasy.

I thought I'd like this much more. Neither the cleansing, nor the conditioning are very good, and the scent seems synthetic. I used about half of it and won't buy it again.

Quick Take: strengthening, doesn't weigh hair down
Love Wen! My hair feels so much healthier, even my hairdresser said so! Also, my scalp used to itch but that has gone away since I started using Wen, hurray! And...since I've used it I've had people walk up to me and ask me where i got my haircut, etc. Just sayin! Some people hate the no suds thing, whatever, just use it correctly and it works! (although I agree you don't need to use as many pumps as they say, I have short hair and I use about 8-10)

It's okay, but not as good as the original...
-05.02.13
The idea of a fig inspired Wen shampoo intrigued me, but I have to say that it left residue on my hair that the original Wen did not. I will not be using this one again.

What's the big draw to this product
-04.25.13
Quick Take: rich
...I just don't see it. It claims it doesn't suds up because it has no harsh chemicals in it. Well, it shouldn't suds up. Name one conditioner that does. This is a conditioner, not a shampoo. Shampoos are meant to cleanse. Conditioners moisturize, soften, etc. That's what this does. It has absolutely no cleansing properties. The shine is due to the fact that it is leaving behind dirt and oil in your own hair and scalp and masking it with strong natural scents such as mint. Several of the first major ingredients are the same you would find in ANY conditioner. If you use 15 or more pumps of ANY conditioner alone without shampoo, you're going to get the same results. This product is ok to use as a supplement to shampoo. But it does not replace that clean feeling you get when you actually wash out your hair and not mask it!

Smells like cough drops
-04.24.13
I love wen and this is my 3rd purchase of its conditioning cleanser, decided to try this new scent and I'm usually not scent-sensitive but this DOES NOT smell good to me. In the shower I felt like I was breathing in a weird menthol strawberry cherry scent. I planned on returning it since the sample of bare minerals I ordered wasn't even included in my shipment but since I already used it I'm gonna try to get thru this bottle, at least I have my boyfriend to help me use it all up on his silky soft hair too. Love wen but not this scent at all! Should have tried the cucumber aloe
