Great Alternative to No-Poo
-05.21.13
Quick Take: doesn't weigh hair down
I have fine, thin hair and have found that my hair looks fuller and thicker when I don't use shampoo. I switched to using water and baking soda on my hair a couple of years ago and have been reasonably happy with the results, but I'm pretty reliant on dry shampoo still. I tried Wen after a late, drunk night infomercial. My hair is sooooo much softer than it is with regular shampoo or the no-poo method. I'm also finding I need to wash it less often than I have with other products. My only complaint is that it has like 17 different types of alcohol listed in the ingredients which tend to make my ends a little dry.

Horrible for oily scalp. Horrible.
-05.20.13
So heavy on my hair! Makes my oily scalp worse! I can't believe the marketing hype for this junk. Use more of it and it will work? No thanks! I'll be returning this bottle. Awful on my thick hair and weighed it down even more.

Love my Wen
-05.16.13
Quick Take: strengthening, doesn't weigh hair down, rich
I love Wen. I've been using it for almost 3 years and love the results. You have to make sure to use it properly though otherwise your hair won't get properly/thoroughly clean nor conditioned. You have to use the full amount of pumps for your hair length (NEVER skimp!) and cleanse 2x (split the total # of pumps in half and use the first half for your first cleanse and the second half for your second cleanse. the first cleanse cleans your hair, the second cleanse conditions your hair). the most common newbie mistake is not using enough cleansing conditioner which can result in your hair feeling/looking dirty/oily, so using enough is extremely important (just remember that you have to use enough that your hair feels nice and creamy, not just barely covered). another important thing is to thoroughly rinse before and after each cleanse to fully rinse the Wen out. another tip is to after cleansing add 1 pump back in as a leave in conditioner (pea size for short hair, dime size for medium length, nickel size long length. also make sure to use the styling creme as it protects hair from heat damage as well as environmental damage (using heat - ie. blow dryers, curling/flat iron - without using styling creme undoes all the good Wen does if you're not protecting your hair). i would also strongly recommend using the Remoist at least once a week to help keep your hair healthy.

It works!!
-05.16.13
It does work. If you use it correctly. I have very fine hair with oily roots but the ends get dry and then break and split. I use about 4 pumps, work it through with some water to help it distribute well. Then rinse. Then use about 5 pumps to really it work it through, work it into the scalp and allow to sit as long as possible (mines just the rest of the shower, not too long). Then rinse and rinse and rinse. Commons stakes are not using enough product and not rinsing enough. My hair is clean and shiny and doesn't break anymore. Love it!

Gentle, smells great!
-05.07.13
Quick Take: rich
I suffered from dry scalp this past winter, so i thought this product might help alleviate the tight, dry, itchy feeling I have. Wen is very creamy with no lather...which takes some getting used to. It feels like your hair isn't being cleaned, but after you rinse, voila... your hair is soft , clean, and smells great. My teenage daughters have mixed feelings about this product. One says it doesn't clean her oily scalp, The other, who has dry, curly hair, loves it.

Fantastic Product!

Quick Take: strengthening, doesn't weigh hair down, rich
This is the best hair product ever! I have been using this product on my coarse, colored and chemically relaxed hair and it makes my hair soft and moisturized without any frizz. It is a little pricey but worth every dollar.

Amazing
-05.05.13
Quick Take: strengthening, doesn't weigh hair down, adds shine, detangles
I have very fine and oily hair, that is in constant knots and tangles. This is the first product in a long time that I love love love. My hair is healthy and shiny and I know longer have to rip half my hair out attempting to comb the tangles out and I no longer need to use spray in conditioners or conditioning balms. This shampoo does it all in one, and it does not take the 15-20 pumps it recommends I maybe use 3-5 depending on the day. I used to use products such as Phyto, Alterna, Bamboo, and none even come close to this product. Totally worth it!

Keep your color....
-05.04.13
Quick Take: rich
This product does what it claims -it reduces frizz and helps my long, straight, treated hair keep it's color...better than any other product making the same claims. I'm on my second bottle so I've given the product a good try. The review is minus one star as sometimes, no matter how much you rinse, hair can look slightly greasy.

Better than the original
-05.03.13
Quick Take: rich, leaves dandruff?
This version smells and feels better than the original almond/mint, It will leave you hair very silky and easy to style. However, still have to use a clarifying shampoo once a week to get rid of the white stuff that it leaves in my scalp. Maybe I'm not raising the hair enough but same happened with the original one.

ok but not fantastic
-05.03.13
I have dry, color treated hair. I followed the directions, hoping for that fantastic, soft, shiny hair you see on the commercials. My hair turned out very oily within 5 minutes of drying. It just got olier every time I used it. I liked the smell & I loved how my hair felt while it was still wet, but it felt like I had rubbed my hair in oil every time I touched it. I am definately not impressed, and won't be buying it anymore.

Horrible
-04.16.13
Quick Take: a waste of money, does not clean your hair
I don't know how Sephora sells any of this product. My hair is normal, color treated and naturally wavy with decent volume. I tried the WEN product after seeing their infomercials and was interested to try it and see if it provided more shine and care for my color. I was prepared that it would not lather in the shower and got used to that however I expected it would clean my hair which it did not. My hair felt dirty and was lifeless and limp. I kept with it for 3 days but finally had to use my old shampoo. This will be going back.

Quick Take: strengthening, rich, smoothing
I really love this product. I had always wanted to try it but was a bit reluctant because of the price, I didn't want to spend the money if it was not going to own up to its reputation. It certainly does own up to its reputation and more! Definitely worth the price!
