Miracle product!!

Quick Take: strengthening, doesn't weigh hair down, rich
I have been using One Condition, No-Poo shampoo, and anGel (Now called Light Defining Gel) for at least 5 years now and my mom has been using them for about 7. My hair is very thick and long, and can turn unruly pretty easily. These products have helped to keep my hair soft and manageable, with very defined curls, for years now, and I will never give this product up. It is very moisturizing and I always get compliments on how good my hair smells. I highly recommend getting one of the books (I recommend the first one) written by Lorraine Massey, the founder of DevaCurl, because it helps you identify your hair type and teaches you how much of each product, etc. to use for your curl type. I have pretty bouncy, long hair which identifies in the book as "Botticelli", and this is my routine if it is helpful to anyone:
1. Divide hair in half and use a generous amount of One Condition on each side. Rinse off. (Do not ever use a brush on curly hair- comb with fingers)
2. Do rest of shower routine.
3. Turn off shower and use more condition as a leave in, running your fingers through your whole head.
4. Flip your head so your head is upside down and your hair is hanging loose. Get a few squirts of gel and spread the gel between your hands and scrunch your hair while still upside down.
5. Then take a microfiber towel or t-shirt (any t-shirt- doesn't matter) and scrunch your hair. This helps take water out and enhance your curl without knotting/ruining it like you would do if you put your hair in a towel on top of your head.
Everyone should get this, and it is amazing!!

Finally I can comb through my wet curls! Doesn't seems to weigh my hair down, and isn't greasy.

Quick Take: doesn't weigh hair down
No special smell, very hydrating. Doesn't leave a coating or any oiliness or weird texture on hair. When used after the shampoo my naturally curly hair is much more curly and bouncy.

Ehhh, not a fan
-06.02.13
While I love all things CG, this conditioner never did it for me. It's very creamy, that's for sure, but it's not particularly moisturizing, at least not for my fine hair. It has a tendency to coat your hair, so make sure to rinse very well after. The smell isn't terrible, but it does linger. This seems to work much better for thicker, less porous hair types. Maybe it's just too thick for finer hair to absorb properly.

Quick Take: strengthening, doesn't weigh hair down, rich, moisturizing, has good slip
This is one of the best conditioners I've ever used! It's super moisturizing, great for detangling, and definitely makes my hair less frizzy. It smells nice, too :)

The best
-05.10.13
Quick Take: defining, defrizzing, softening, smells amazing, game-changer, holy grail product
The DevaCurl line is just the best. These products are a complete game-changer for curl care. After the first use I was left with soft, smooth ringlets that spiral downward, instead of bending & half-curling in every direction.
The key with this product line is to use the right technique. This can take a bit more effort & time, but if you do it right you will love your curls more than you ever thought possible!
If you're even thinking of trying these products, DO IT! But do it right. I'm so, so glad I was given a good tutorial by the stylist who introduced me to them. So I wrote a Sephora review of the NoPoo recently, complete with an overly detailed, ridiculously in depth bullet list of how to perfect each step of the washing/styling process with this line. I went a little over the top, sure, but I did it for my fellow curly girls, so check it out if you're going to try DevaCurl! :)
These products are expensive, but if you utilize them properly you will not regret the money spent.

Quick Take: doesn't weigh hair down
Great conditioner. I've tried so many conditioners- from masks to leave-ins. This stiff is easy, clean feeling, and I think I'm going to stick with it for a while. The no poo shampoo also is shockingly good.

the best so far
-05.05.13
Quick Take: doesn't weigh hair down, anti frizz, moisturizing
I have tried way too many products for my very naturally curly, frizzy, dry hair and so far this has been the best product. The scent is not overpowering, clean smelling to me which I like and this combined with the shampoo makes my curls more controlled and less frizzy. If there was a complaint it would be that Sephora sells the large shampoo but not the conditioner.

Quick Take: doesn't weigh hair down, strengthening, rich
I love this conditioner. My hair feels and looks much better, less frizzy and shiny. I also use the DevaCare Conditiner. Tthe DevaCare has a little more moisturizer. Hopefully Sephora will carry that as well

decent
-04.19.13
Quick Take: strengthening, smells great
It's hard to find shampoos and conditioners that won't destroy all hope of a good hair day for the naturally curly-haired person. Most product that are specifically made for curly hair don't actually work for my specific type of curly hair. This one does a pretty good job. It also smells fantastic and is a good wake-me-up in my morning shower. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it makes my hair a little too soft and I'll get fly-aways. But otherwise, it's a decent product.

My go to conditioner!!
-04.14.13
I absolutely love this conditioner, I have super curly hair frizzy hair and before Deva I NEVER wore my hair curly! I went to Devachan salon in Soho and was hooked. It definitely took a few weeks of using this & the no-poo and their Light defining gel (formerly AnGel) to fully recover from years of sulfates/silicones and heat styling damaging my curls but once I learned how to do the deva 3 step process, I regained moisture, shine, and my curls came back to life. One Condition is super moisturizing but not too heavy, lots of slip, silicone free and smells divine!! I only hope Sephora will carry the larger 40oz bottle (for both One Condition and the Light defining gel). I would be a loyal repurchaser of this item!!!

I've been using this along with the No-Poo shampoo for about a week now and I don't think I could go back to using anything else. It's kept my hair and curls smoother and much more manageable. My hair could get pretty frizzy and tangley and has been immensely better since using this and the shampoo. Also it smells divine.

Not worth the money. I followed the instructions in her book Curly Girl. The book has some good tips and you can use other products and get the same results.

Amazing!!!!
-03.26.13
Quick Take: doesn't weigh hair down
I had my hair done at the Curl Ambassador salon in Toronto and they used this in my hair and it was amazing. My favourite part is that it can be used as a leave in, it really helped condition and hydrate my hair. My curls are small, more like ringlets and this made my hair soft to touch even when it was wet. This product made me love my hair curly.

my holy grail conditioner!!
-03.06.13
Quick Take: strengthening, doesn't weigh hair down, rich, moisturizing, curl enhancing
Yes I play and try with a lot of conditioners (hi i am a product junkie) but I ALWAYS return back to this one!! I have been using this conditioner for months and it consistently gives my blonde colored dry curly hair great results. It moisturizes, makes detangling super easy and makes my curls POP! The smell is addicting and delicious- like lemon lime candy. I like to leave a little in my hair to so it protects it throughout the day.
