Tocca Beauty Florence
Florence is scented with the sophisticated essence of the old European garden rose known as Centifolias or "cabbage" rose. Bred in the 16th and 17th centuries by the Dutch, Centifolias are noted for their highly fragrant blossoms. I was looking for a new floral fragrance to add to my collection. The salesperson showed me this fragrance and I fell in love with it. This fragrance has a heady mix of gardenia and tuberose, it keeps its integrity and lasts throughout the whole day. I had inquired about Michael Kors but Sephora does not carry it anymore, this fragrance is by far superior. It is devine!

A must have fragrance. Totally captivated me and my shopping friend. Took us by surprise with the intoxicating scent. Long lasting, maintained same level of scent for hours. Reminded us of long summer days. Fantastic!

I bought this for a friend and she is in love. She smells light and fresh, and the scent gets deeper as she wears it through the day. Smells good on many different people.

Quick Take: perfect scent
You will get more compliments on this perfume than any other, this I promise! I love the way it smells; last for at least 5-7 hours, depending on how much you use. LOVE THIS PERFUME!

Quick Take: long wearing and floral very pretty
I'm a fragrance junkie! This is def a very floral, feminine scent. Close to the scent of Marc Jacobs by Marc Jacobs because of the gardenia. On my skin, it smells very pretty and lasts for hours. I would have liked the dry down scent to of had more white musk, but over all it reminds me of a very summery day in lovely flowers!

One note, but you may like the note

I think Tocca fragrances are some of the best out there, and they have so many in their line that I truly feel like there is a beautiful match for everyone. Violette is my favorite, being a soft, neutral floral, but the other day at the store I sprayed two more for fun, Florence and Cleopatra. I chose Florence for one wrist because straight away by smelling the sprayer I noticed the gardenia smell and I thought, hmm I wonder. Gardenia is a scent I would go for in a candle so I thought this might develop interestingly on skin. I don't know why Gardenia and Jasmine are the 5th and 7th ingredient listed (it's supposed to smell of the cabbage rose, with which I'm unfamiliar, but maybe that smells like gardenia, too). Florence smells 100 percent like gardenia and nothing else. I didn't detect any subtleties or bottom notes of any other ingredient listed. If you're not sure what gardenia smells like, it is very much like jasmine and similar to honeysuckle. Others here have called it "sweet," which I feel is misleading. To me, a sweet perfume has sugar, vanilla, or a sweet fruit, and none such are apparent in Florence. There are some flowers with a delicate scent that could be described as sweet, but I would not put gardenia with those either. I would say a sweet floral is gentle and gets caught on your tongue, like rose or peony, while gardenia is strong and practically shoots through your brain. So, it's not a scent that I find very becoming, or even appropriate, as a perfume but surely there are women who disagree or who want something in their lineup that's not a regular-ol'-perfumey smell. Feminine, but not romantic. It is powerful and wafts very well--you will not be missed while wearing Florence.
Cleopatra is quite different. Not romantic either, but alluring in its own right. More complex, a little deeper, definite notes of amber which make it seem spicy and a teeny bit masculine, but seductive for those reasons. For those who avoid sugar and the general perception of sweetness in their perfumes.

You will love this. This smells exactly like it. When my Michael is finished up, I will be purchasing this Florence Tocca in a heartbeat.
My friend said this scent reminded her of me! I was intrigued, so I went to the store to smell it and wow! No wonder it reminded her of me because Michael Kors is my scent and this is exactly like it!! Very impressed because the price is preferred over Kors for sure :),
There is a Tocca that smells old lady like and the bad reviews have got to be about that one, it may be the pink or purple labeled bottle.

I absolutely love this perfume, and the bottle is so pretty that I can't ever bring myself to throw it away when it runs out. I love that it has staying power and doesn't disappear in 20 minutes. Most importanly, this fruity floral perfume makes me feel like a grown up...

Quick Take: good value, travel-friendly, reusable, floral, feminine
I know it's a strange thing to say that a fragrance smells like a place, but if Florence had a scent, I think this would be it! It is extremely floral, fresh, and feminine, but there is something interesting and old world about it that makes you want to ride around in a scooter sipping espresso on a hot summer day in Italy. I can't put my finger on what smells so interesting about it, but there is something so delicious and soft in this fragrance, it is one of my favorites. The only negative is I feel like it fades within a few hours, unlike Stella from Tocca, which stays on me all day. Also the bottle in the smaller size only has a dabber top, and not a spray. The larger size has a spray though I think. Oh! And the bottle is gorgeous! It sits so pretty on my vanity.

A few months ago I got a sample of Violette and was planning to purchase it. On the Black Friday sale, I picked up Tocca's roller ball trio which included Florence. I should admit that I have a tendency , ok obsession, with violet perfumes. I thought Violette was great but this is so much better. After my Black Friday order arrived, I immediately drove to a local store to buy the full size.
It's not heavy yet sensual, alluring, and intoxicating all at once. Perhaps a bit of mystery in there as well. I can't stop smelling it, I adore this!

Each of the tocca scents seems to be an entire character in a bottle. Florence is no exception. It's robustly floral, delicately spicy, and there's something demure about it. it's refined and classy. I have worn it everywhere from a five star dinner to work at a bar, and it always fits.

I love this fragrance SO much! It's very floral & sweet, yet not too overpowering. The only problem I have with this is that if you get the 15$ Mini-version, you can't spray it :( Otherwise, after I finish the small bottle, I'm going to splurge on the big one!

I am extremely picky when it comes to fragrances. I tend to stay away from top end fragrances because they usually carry a very heavy scent. But this perfume is so wonderful! It's a very light and fresh floral scent that lasts for many hours. Would highly recommend it to anyone!

I am extremely picky with my perfumes and usually stick with the same ones for years. Brought my husband with me to get a new perfume and we were both amazed with how wonderful this one smells. Its very similar to Michael Kors fragerences. Love this!
