a trick for using the extra 1/2 a pump

Love this product. The reviewers are right. You only need a 1/2 a pump or less! to add to your foundation and blend together, before you apply. i use the darker one in the summer and with the leftover 1/2 a pump I add it it to my body mositurizer and it gives a suble glow to my legs and arms. No waste!

ok its blend-able. which is good because the gold is VERY dark, not for pale gals k. I mix a teeny bit into foundation for a tan glow at night. Its too dramatic for daywear. Its true about the pump you just have to waste half the pump :( cuz too much comes out. Its good quality though. If you want more subtle gold go with Girl Meets Pear by benefit

I haven't used a Lorac product that I don't love yet, this is no exception. A lot of highlighters look extremely sparkly and are too much, but this one gets it right.

I am in love with bronzers, luminizers, and anything tha will help give me a "dewy glow." I use both the gold and the white colors. During the summer I mix both colors with my foundation and then apply the mixture to my face, it is perfect. I don't think a day goes by without at least one person telling me how great my makeup looks. In the winter, or when I am not as tan, I only mix the white color in with my foundation. It does not break me out at all and I am fairly prone to breakouts. Overall I love this product! It is great and adds just what I was looking for!

This is definitely a special day/evening addition to your make-up...Gives a nice glow and holds up..There is a tendancy for some breakout after being on your face for over six hours . Pearl is my favorite as it wears well with very fair skin.

It does give your face a nice glow & u only need 2 use a very SMALL AMOUNT. So with the size of the bottle.... it will last awhile. I like that! That makes it well worth the $!

I purchased this product in the gold color which on second thought may not suit me well. I wanted a bronzey/shimmery look but this is a tad dark for me and if I use what is dispensed with one pump i look orange. I try to use half a pump (which is impossible so you end up wasting a lot) but I may sample the pearl color as I think it may work better with my skin. I had originally thought it would be too white but blended with foundation it may look better. I will keep experimenting and hope I can find the right way to use the product to get my desired results.

I have fair and oily skin and this product works great for me. This isn't overly shimmery which I love. It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin and the fact that it's oil free means I don't have to worry about it breaking me out. I mix a little of this in with my primer when I want a more luminous look or I use it alone as a highlighter. I have used this for years and wouldn't know what to do without it.

Like all of Lorac products, this one is great. It is rich and dense with pigment and does exactly what it's supposed to, which is to brighten your skin. I mix it with foundation and a little bit of it goes a long way. Pricey but worth the cost. Stays on and is long lasting. My one complaint would be the bottle.... you can't control how much you want to use. No matter how gently I press down, the same amount always spurts out.

This is the best luminizer I've ever used - I can blend it with my foundation for a dewy look, or use it for basic highlighting to accent my cheeks and bone structure. Every now and again I use it on my clavicle as well. Not grainy or glittery, nor is it extremely noticeable. Blends well and goes on smooth!

At 51, here's my daily routine:
Wash w/Phil's cleanser, apply Murad's Active Radiance Serum (let dry 1 min.), apply Phil's Miracle Worker cream, MIXED WITH LORAC'S Bronze and Pearl to desired shade.
Apply SMASHBOX'S High Definition (Fair) under eye Concealer, then thin layer of SMASHBOX'S Under Eye Brightener Illuminator. For eyes, LAURA MERCIER'S Metallic Creme Eye Colour in Platinum shade.. then apply URBAN DECAY'S Stardust in Space Cowboy, from lashline to eyebrow.
Lastly, for lips, FRESH'S Sugar Lip Treatment (brown tube, not the red tinted color).
*Having BOTH LORAC'S shades, you can mix or use individually, depending on your mood. I recommend buying both Pearl and Bronze - it gives you 3 colour choices; good value and these bottles will last forever as you use so little (whole or 1/2 of a size of a pea!).
So, the above how-to is the order in which I apply everything.
At Night, I use PHIL'S Booster Caps (not drying!), then apply PHILS'S Miracle Worker Cream. I swear, after one nightly application, the next morning, I saw a difference!. Pores were smaller, fine lines were diminished (including laugh lines), skin tone more uniform and old (darker) acne scars were visabilly lightened.
The only thing I'm waiting on is LORAC'S Multiplex's Lip Gloss in 3D (color)...you can call your local SEPHORA and get on their wait list... 3D is the most popular...it mixes beautiful colours together. It has a brush for exact control, not sticky and lasts all day. Apply it light or heavier for the desired effect. This item will be back in stock 1st or 2nd week in May (I called 1-877-SEPHORA yesterday).
When your in menopause, your face dries out terribly and in just 3 days of this routine, I look refreshed, glowing and yes, younger.
I WILL continue to be a devoted customer. THANK YOU SEPHORA, for fixing a multitude of skin problems for me. Your product lines are outstanding and perform exactly the way they're promoted.

I love this product! I have it in the gold color. It was the only luminizer that I tried on in the store that didn't make my skin turn red instantly (I have very sensitive skin). I use a sponge and dab it on my cheekbones and down my nose after I use my liquid foundation. I don't recommend this product on bare skin, it always turns out a bit too sparkly for me on bare skin. But otherwise, its great! don't use too much, and don't rub it in --- ruins the effect. I will re-purchase when I run out, but its lasted me a good 8 months or so.

I was given this LORAC Oil-Free Luminizer in Pearl as a birthday present. I already have some other luminizers and was going to ask my friend if I could return it, when I looked closely at it, and realized all the potential it has. While I know this is made to be a luminizer for my face, and it looks really nice with my pale skin and a blush, it works so well as a luminizer for my shoulders and the tops of my arms. It absorbs quickly and looks gives my skin a lovely shimmer that doesn't overpower but looks elegant. My skin is very pale and I look so stark white in the summer, when everyone else has more color than I do. When I use even the lightest color of any sort, it's obvious that I've done something. With this luminizer, I can play up the paleness and try to turn it into some sort of asset instead of looking like a I'm related to Casper the Friendly Ghost. The luminizer adds a little something special to my skin and being so pale isn't as bad. The lucky thing is that a little goes a very long way, so this should last a relatively long time, even though I'm doing a larger area than just my face.
The other great thing about this is that it can easily be blended in with a tinted moisturizer, a regular moisturizer, or even foundation, and it will give it a tiny bit of shimmer. It adds an finish that is very elegant.
This would also be a perfect luminizer for a bride on her wedding day.

This luminizer works beautifully. Like some of the other reviews, the pump is not great and produces too much of the product - however, it doesn't matter! I can put this on with no other make-up and it leaves the perfect cover-up and shimmer to my face. I look sun-kissed and refreshed. I LOVE IT! Its great for a quick fix or all day wear. Worth the price - as I have tried other brands that do not wear as well or look as natural.
