Quick Take: absorbs quickly
This lotion proves that you don't need a superthick cream (nice as those are!) to pamper your skin. I can't stand to bare my legs without some sort of lotion in the summertime, and this is perfect because it absorbs quickly (you don't have to rub it in too much like some thick body butters) and leaves you looking and feeling smooth and dewy all day long. Oh, and like everything else L'Occitane, it smells divine.

Inlove with the scent

Quick Take: scented, rich
When you first squeeze the lotion out of the tube, it smells like lemon peels, then after 15 minutes later, my skin smells like a fresh organic verbena garden. Such a treat for the senses. Also an effective moisturizer for even sensitive skin. I was afraid that I'd have a reaction to the citrus scent, but my skin likes it fine.

Quick Take: scented, absorbs quickly
Lightweighted lotion that works well to hydrate winter dry skin and prevent skin from being itchy. My only complaint is the weird design of the cap and the bottle that makes it very hard to get out the lotion. I ended up pouring it into a bottle with a pump.

Lightly scented winner for the office

I've been a fan since staying at a Sofitel chain that introduced me to this line. It's lightly scented which is great for the office and I'm a citrus fan. It's definitely softening to the skin and not greasy (currently using during the dry season).

Absolutely love the entire Verbena line. The smell is amazing. it feels luxurious and moisturizing on skin. But i do have extra dry skin, n usually by morning, i'd notice flakes on my arm. This lotion alone is perfect for summer, but in the fall and winter, I have to add a bit body oil to keep my skin moisturized.

This is a great lotion. It's lightweight, but still moisturizes well. The scent is amazing! I also stayed at the Four Seasons and fell in love with the scent while I stayed there. I bought both the eau de toilette and the lotion. My only regret is that there isn't a perfume for this.

I am obsessed with every L'Occitane Verbena product. This lotion is no exception! Lotion pours somewhat on the thinner side but once applied to skin develops a rich, creamy texture that just melts into the skin like butter. It's UNREAL. A little really goes a LOOOONG way, which means it lasts, too! Great product from a fantastic line.

This lotion turns sour after wearing for about an hour. I was so disappointed, but I just had to stop using it. Also, it did nothing for my skin. I might as well have been moisturizing with water.

I bought this lotion because I enjoy using natural body products and usually love herbal scents. This scent is so overpowering and pungent that I can't use it. In addition, it is not very emollient.

it seems as if though everyone loves the scent but personally i hhate it. it smells exactly like a motel room, sort of a cheap lemony cleaning product smell. i gave it a extra star because i really like the texture and hydration of the actual lotion.
