Subtle scent, which lingers. Conditions and cleans without leaving a residue. I wish it was more user friendly. I love the big size, but the soap is very bulky. Otherwise, it's perfect.

Best Soap EVER!

Quick Take: rich lather, scented, moisturizing, long-lasting
I am a certified HATER of bar soaps of all kinds everywhere. That's why I was so surprised by how wonderful this one is. I used it and found that everything that I dislike about bar soaps isn't true with this one. It has a very pungent scent that can be smelled right through the packaging and for hours on your skin after use. It doesn't dry out your skin at all. When you get out of the shower, you don't feel the immediate need to moisturize. The bar dries quickly after use and doesn't collect that slimy, scummy layer on top that bar soaps tend to. The bar doesn't crack and get gross though. Just put it in a proper soap dish that drains water and it lasts and lasts for a long time. It also foams very well in the shower when used with a loofah. This is the first bar of soap I've used that I will look forward to buying again.

I love this sweet scented soap. The creamy soap gives a generous lather and leaves skin feeling soft to the touch. It is a treat to use this in the shower as the scent wafts through the air and leaves a delicate scent on your skin. The soap is 100% vegetable based and is packed with wholesome shea butter. You can also feel good while cleansing as the company works with women operated Shea processing collectives in West Africa.

I buy the verbena soap. I love the fresh clean scent the Shea keeps my skin soft and moisturized. I purchase the whole verbena line. It last a while. I only wish that the sephora that opened at my mall carried loccitaine other then just the hand creams. :(

Quick Take: rich lather, dried my skin out
I give this bar of soap 2 stars for it size and the fact that it does last a very long time, but I almost wished it didn't. The unfortunate thing is that it dried my skin out instantly even more than a plain bar of Ivory does. My skin is normal and a tad bit dry in winter. I had to apply and reapply cream and body butter to compensate. I purchased this in Milk. I hope everyone else has better luck with this product.

Great for Sensitive skin!

I'm very prone to irritation and my doctor told me to only use all natural soaps if possible or soaps that are not heavily scented or perfumed. I'm a huge fan of lavender so I love the scent of this soap and I have not only not had an adverse reactions to it, but my skin feels really soft after using it, so much so that if in a rush I can go sans lotion without my skin feeling dry throughout the day. This also has a surprising rich larger for a bar soap, I only gave it a 4 because the first couple times I used this soap my skin was kinda left with that residue-y bar soap feeling, but that went away. Overall, this is a great product.

Why is this soap awesome?
1 - It lasts way longer than any body wash.
2 - It smells really nice, but doesn't leave an overbearing scent all over you.

I had patches of dry skin (especially on my upper arms) that required multiple applications of lotion per day to keep under control. This soap has helped me out a lot with keeping my skin smooth and soft! For the price, it's an incredible deal. You can get so many more uses out of a bar than you can out of a big bottle of Dove and it definitely does more for your skin!
