I bought this sharpener specifically to sharpen my mini sephora eyeliner pencils and they don't fit in it!! It does however fit some of my other eye and lip liners and does a half decent job on those.

Quick Take: sharp, great value, compact
It's compact, convenient, and sharpens my pencils to such a fine point...just like new. Other reviews say that the Sephora brand pencils don't fit, but since I don't use the Sephora pencils I'm fine because all my pencils fit. It's great that it holds all the shavings till I can empty it too. At this price it was a steal, I completely recommend this over the more expensive ones!

For the money, this is a great lil tool to have in your bag. It stays closed tight so you don't have any shavings sneaking out and coloring the inside of your bag. It sharpens to a finer point for your lip liners or a more rounded end for eyeliners. What ever way you like it. It snaps apart easily for cleaning and comes with a pick stored within the sharpener itself. Plus its a perfect compact size so as not to bulk up your purse's cosmetic bag.

This is the beste sharpener ever! The little stick that pulls out is just what is needed. It cleans out the gunk without making a mess on your hands. So cheap too!

Not the one to buy

I purchased this sharpener because I was told it was the one to use with Sephora eyeliners. When I tried to use it, it was too small. I assumed that it was my black Sephora eyeliner because other eyeliners worked in the sharpener. I went to take my eyeliner back and was told that it was actually the sharpener that was a problem. The sales associate told me that I needed one of the other sharpeners. Now I have to try and take this sharpener and see if it they will let me exchange it for the sharpener that will really work. I am sure that the sharpener is nice, but it does not serve the purpose for the all the products. Prior to purchasing, make sure they eyeliner pencil fits.

Quick Take: great add to your makeup bag, small and compact
ok... I had this sharpner in my makeup bag, went to the MAC store and bought a different one and puhsed this one aside.
What a big mistake... the MAC sharpner just chewed up my pencils and always left a sharp edge and not enough product to use.
So I bought the sephora sharpner again and got rid of the high priced MAC one.
My pencils are lasting longer have plenty of product and NO sharp edges.
My skin is happy.

Quick Take: the best and cheapest beauty investment, razor sharp
When I thought about purchasing the sharpener and saw that it was only $2 (on sale) I thought that it probably wouldn't work that well. I tend to associate price with quality, but this sharpener has been the best one I've bought EVER in life. I'm glad I picked up two!

The sharpener I used to use would sharpen my eye pencils -- and then they would break immediately and need constant sharpening. Not so with this product -- plus the shavings stay out until you choose to dispose of them,
