I was using the murad acne line, went out of it for a few days and got a few pimples... put this religiously before go to bed ( smell like sulphur, is the main ingredient) and the next day my zit was saying hello to me in all his glory... not better, not worse, just there. everytime I have a pimple I use this product and nothing. im gonna finish it, ( it does not look like worsened my condition) but im not gonna buy it again.

I get one or two blemishes on my chin every month, and I used to treat them with benzoyl peroxide. That stuff worked slowly and tried out my skin a lot. This Murad product works much more gently and quickly. I've applied it as soon as I feel a blemish developing, and it never gets to that point where it protrudes as a full bump. The healing process when the blemish opens is also much quicker: it scabbed the same day. This will definitely be my go-to on-the-spot acne treatment!

Does a pretty good job without being overly drying. Kind of pricey for what you get. Smells ok at first but then smells like sulfur. I use only at night because of smell.

Quick Take: effective, skin clearing
I'm nearly 30, and have regular imperfections, a couple of zits here and there, spanning somewhere between my nose and my decolette. I never have really tried to attack the acne, it was never that bad--but I've recently really begun a pursuit to make my skin really flawless, because I'm starting to age and I think it is the most natural way to make myself look better.
So. I decided the redness and spottiness caused by having said white heads, zits, and usually cystic style bumps was one of the main things making me not look my best. I researched a bit and got this, and have been using it about two weeks. It is amazing.
I put it on the spots morning and night, under or over moisturizer, and if I have a chance to touch it up when I happen to be thinking about it during the day, I do. If I use it 4x in 48 hours on the same spot, it'll be pretty much gone. It works FAST. It works especially fast if you learn to catch the spots early, before they really fester up into something noticeable. When you feel a bump, a tenderness that might turn into a zit, put this on it for two days and it won't happen. I won't ever let myself run out of this stuff again. It is fantastic.
My skin is also sensitive, and while sulfur (the main active ingredient) is very drying, and you want to be mindful of that, this hasn't caused me more problems than it has solved at all.

Quick Take: wonderful
Once in a while, I'll get a few pimples here and there. I put this on at night before going to bed, and by the next morning they're gone! I also use this during the day for some extra action :)

Once or twice a month, I get a HUGE and PAINFUL pimple on my chin that tortures me for at least a week. This spot treatment reduced that week to three days. The pimple still there, but it's tiny now and doesn't hurt at all!

this cream works immediatley. this is my 2nd tube. i have oily skin and sometimes i get a pimple here and there. like i said, it works immediatley , it help with redness , and it controls it right away. i dries right away and it has no scent.

this worked to calm a massive breakout and the red calmed down in 2 days. During an appointment with acne clinic Dr. later that week they said to not use with my low dose antibiotic because it is a sulfur based antibiotic . I will use it just in emergencies because it works great.

Still a little smelly (sulfur) but still very effective, I use this as a night time spot treatment for up-and-coming blemishes and full blown breakouts. Minimizes redness and inflammation, kills bacteria, doesn't dry out skin. Good choice for mature skin that still breaks out, and for any age skin that doesn't like the drying and bleaching effect of benzol peroxide.

It was very effective at the beginning and will not dehydrate my skin. However, after using for few times (less than 10 times), this product seems not effective! The acne never gets better or very slow that I think I recover by myself but not because of this product.

This product truly saves the day! I have two: I keep one in my purse and one in my medicine cabinet. I don't use it every day, just when needed. I'm in my mid-thirties and just started using Murad products this year. They are great! I found a system that works great for me. It's a huge help that Sephora offers samples for all of their products and their staff are so knowledgeable and friendly. Just a small dab on a trouble spot helps right away. If I remember to apply it to a trouble spot before going to sleep, I wake up with it almost gone.

I only buy this and not the full murad kit because i need this alone, my acne has gone down so much and this is the first product that would make my acne go away and not fry my face, because i have a habit of putting to much on. This product works very good and i have stuck to it for almost a year, it takes away a zit in about 2 or 3 days for me.

Quick Take: effective, fast acting
After just two applications I already noticed a big improvement over big bumps, no question. So I think it helps the healing process a lot. Like, A LOT. Unfortunately my hormonal acne is still bad, but they definitely heal faster with this.
PS: The staff at the Sephora store recommended using a Q-tip to apply, which I do.

I JUST purchased this product on 3/27 and I had two pimples. The kind that hurt when you touch them. I applied this spot treatment before I went to bed and woke to barely-there, pretty-much-gone, pimples. I read the reviews prior to my purchase and admittedly was unsure if I should try it since the reviews were well mixed with negative experiences. I almost purchased EradiKate instead since those reviews had more satisfied customers and more positive feedback. However, when in Sephora, I compared the ingredients of both and decided that EradiKate may be too strong for me. I get the occasional pimples in the same spots, chin, cheeks and jaw, and thought Murad may be best. I have tried over-the-counter products and they work, but over a period of a few days and I wanted something a wee-bit stronger, so the price was worth it. The odor is minimal and isn't overwhelming to me and it dried clear. In my opinion, if you are not an acne sufferer where a Dermatologist is needed, this is an excellent product, fast acting with immediate results.
