Quick Take: exfoliating, removes impurities
Only 4 stars because I wish it was a little creamier. However this is a great wash for day to day exfoliation. Other exfoliating cleansers tend to change consistency or settle in the bottom of the bottle. Making the cleanser not effective. This cleanser from Murad is the same every time. I still need a mask and a harsher exfoliator once a week but this maintains my skin beautifully in between.

This cleanser is AMAZING! After 3 days my face was noticeably smoother. I suffer from Keratosis Pilaris on my face and this cleanser in conjunction with Jack Black glycolic lotion tames my chicken scratch skin.

I've been using this for years - I alternate days using this and a normal cleanser, and I find this to be the best method for keeping my skin clear and soft. You can't go wrong with this product.

Ever since I have used this product my skin has completely transformed. My blackheads are disappearing. Whenever I used to get out of the shower, I was rushing to get moisturizer onto my face because of how tight my skin felt because it was so dry. I am so glad to say my skin NEVER feels like that anymore. It feels so smooth. You'll notice it after even your first use. I no longer have problems with dryness - I can wear ANY foundation now without my dry spots being pronounced! Just today I used Make Up Forever HD foundation which i have had for 2 YEARS but never used because my dry spots looked horrendous with it. Girls with dry skin - BUY THIS - its a miracle product.

I like this product. I don't know if I'd buy it again because of the price. It does last a long time since it only takes a little bit to cover your face. It didn't aggravate my skin.

Gentle cleanser...good to use with Clarisonic. The only downside is that it burns if it gets in your eyes. Other than that, have been using for years and always make sure not to run out. Always on the lookout for something comparable without the sting.

I really love this exfoliating scrub!...I have sensitive skin and was concerned about using this but it made my skin look incredible. The key is to use a light hand...people need to wash gently and not press hard on the skin. It leaves your face alive and polished! I will be purchasing again!

Quick Take: foamy, exfoliating, milky, skin-clearing, good for acne prone skin
I bought this after seeing it on a derm forum for doctors that it is one of the top 10 recommended products for clearing skin. Since I had a sample of this laying around from a few months ago, I gave it ago in hopes that it would help to clear my skin. I cannot believe how much it did for my skin! The dermatologists on the forum recommended to use this after lightly steam toweling your face and leaving this cleanser on for an extra 2 minutes after a minute of massaging it in, and I can actually say that this helped minimize the size of my pores and unclog them, resulting in clearer skin. My little breakouts are nearly gone and I am just left with the hyperpigmentation left from acne scarring and am crossing my fingers that this, too, will disappear with using this product. I am so glad that I purchased the full size!

Bought this stuff by mistake, tube is too much like the refreshing cleanser. Decided to try it first. It's full of grit, and I guess this is what's supposed to be exfoliating, but all it did was make my face red, and it kinda hurts. If your skin is sensitive like mine, don't get this one.

I have used other exfoliating cleansers and scubs but this one is by far my favorite. The beads are gentle enough to get your skin clean, but also also aggressive enough to have your skin shine. I have oily skin with occasional acne and this treatment really does the trick.

I am reading all these great reviews on this product but it did not work for me.
The Jojoba beads are too gentle; i think my skin works better wtih more physical exfoliation than this product provides. The AHA/BHA does not seem to work for my skin - the dead skin cells around my nose, chin, and between my brows are not polished away after usage. I followed the instructions and used it 2-3 times weekly but didn't notice any results.
I still use it once a week in between using my other exfoliators (which are more physical exfoliators without the chemicals) just so my skin doesn't get used to one product but I don't think I will repurchase this once my bottle is done. I will look for a stronger acid-based exfoliant.

Another one of my beauty staples. I use this 2x a week as an exfoliant, and on the other days I use a non-abrasive cleanser. Great value, too! One container usually lasts me 3 months. My skin is always so smooth after I use it. The Murad brand in general is spot in when designing their cleansers, effective but not damaging. I apply a quarter-sized amount and gently apply it by rotating my fingertips in larger, overlapping circles. Using smaller circles and applying more pressure to my problems areas (ex. My nose, chin, and area between my brows) to really open up the pores and release dead skin and who knows what else.
I then finish my steaming my faces over a bowl of hot water, apply a toner, and my nighttime moisturizer. In the morning, my skin is almost porcelain-like in its smoothness and my makeup always looks flawless this day too. LOVE.

I love this exfoliator. It's like a cleanser and a scrub put into one product. It's so gentle, leaves no redness like other scrubs so it's great if you have sensitive skin and it leaves your face looking fresh, even, and with a bit of a glow!
I recommend this to anyone, even men! 5/5 stars.

I received this as a sample with an order, and it sat in my medicine cabinet for a few months before I decided to try it. My skin is acne-prone and sensitive, and I have always been wary of exfoliators. I was pleasantly surprised at how gentle this is, and how smooth my skin felt after using it. I use it 1-2 times/week, and have not had any issues with irritation.
